This the very best ice skating facility ever built. Now that it is an official Islanders facility, the management is excellent, the staff is excellent. Thank goodness it has been turned around! The instructors are great. We love this place

Youth house league is double the price and half the time. Hockey games never start on time and the clock is running when the staff is fixing the board to split the rink into two. This happens EVERYWEEK. Coaches sit there and do nothing. The game has no face off to start and no hand shake to end the game. Referees do not supervise, never calls penalty for tripping, slashing and checking. Kids not only get hurt but thinks this is acceptable. My son is in the 5 – 7 year old league and this is his first experience in hockey. Complaints fall on deaf ears and management has the«take it or leave it» attitude. No one cares. They run it like a corporation, unlike a local rink. Oh and by the way, 3 day weekends… don’t expect a game. Expect to deduct 4 more weekends for winter and spring breaks(beginning and ending weekends). After all said and done of the 13 weeks there will only be 8 games. The price to pay is steep but to have the kids and parents walk away angry… half the price would not even be worth it. Every weekend I walk away disappointed and disgusted. There are other local rinks I’d rather spend my money and I am sure our local business owners would be appreciative.

This is a great location ice rink yet the management is poor. Left few messages to get a private figure skating lesson last week and still waiting for a response from a director. Can someone get back to me with the info???

This place is an excellent facility with state of the art rinks and space but horrible management. The students/children they hired to run the front office have no idea how to accommodate customers and keep things going when there is a big enough line. They charge you for two hours but you could be wasting 30 minutes waiting in line. A ticket machine could do a much better job. The price is also a bit too much and be ready to dish out $ 50+ for a family of 4. I hope a private entity takes over this place and run it like a good business with emphasis on customer satisfaction. 12÷30÷15.

The establishment is very nice don’t get me wrong. But since when does it cost over $ 30 for two people to go ice skating and for only one skate rental? This place is ridiculously overpriced and owned by greedy people. Worst of all unlike Newbridge arena they do not give police or fire discounts. This place caters to the rich.
