What a nightmare! Woke up at the crack of dawn today to take my Pit Bull to get neutered. When we got there @ 6am, I walked over to the front and never saw a list or a line of people. People were sitting in their cars waiting. So when I see the line starting to form & the truck arrives, I run out of my car. I only see one employee running the show. He calls people w appointments first… huh? I read the website a million times– I never saw where it says anything about appointments! Then I see he has a list in his hand– now I’m furious! I ask to write my name on the already long list– he ignores me. So many people around me had no idea abt this list! He tells us that an early customer usually would start the list. We never saw anyone w this list that magically appeared. A man behind me stated this was his second attempt & he’s done w them! A lady next to me said she’d rather pay real $$ to get it done at a vet than go thru this. The cost is $ 125 or $ 5 if you have (or know someone) w a welfare card. It’s a good deal– but is it worth the hassle? When someone asked abt making an appointment for next time– he was told today was the last day of appointments for the mobile sites– go figure! So many people bring more than one pet, & large animals take up 2 cages. They only have max 25 cages to begin with. Such a bad system! They need to do better w this!
