Johnson’s Barber Shop

Had a horrific experience where I told the barber to trim the top and the sides. I went in with long hair and told him to use scissors and be careful on the front to not make it too short. He ended up that meaning to use clippers on everything but the front and almost made me look like a poodle with a puff on the front of my head. He had to shave the whole thing and while I never look bad in a buzz cut, I would not go back in the fact that he didn’t listen to what I wanted but rather did what he knew. Also the shave was not relaxing, no hot lather and kind of rough… Great for touch ups or if you want your hair cut with clippers as they were great at that.

I have been coming here for a few months, for myself, and I am a fan on this barber shop. I have been coming here for years because my ex-​bf usually comes here for a «shape-​up» and now I am a customer. My go-​to barber is Gary. He does my hair (or lack thereof) really well. I dont go to anyone else. The other barbers are great but I like Gary.
I love this shop because everyone is cool, no drama, they do a really good job in cutting hair and they all are Jamaican. I just love their accents :-). Anyways, they are reasonably priced (they only accept cash) and while you’re waiting they usually have a movie on for your entertainment.
Please keep in mind don’t go on a weekend or be prepared to wait. I made that mistake one time of going the day before July 4^th and I waited about 3 hours. I will never go on a weekend or near a holiday again. Other than that, check them out.
