I was very impressed with this guys in this computer repair shop! They were friendly, honest, and fair. I had to go there for two different issues. The first time I got it fixed right away! The second time the computer totally failed on me. It was not fixable. They tried their best to fix my older machine but it wouldn’t cooperate at all. Instead of continuing to dump money into a un-​fixable laptop, they really helped me by advising me to cut my loses. They then went above and beyond by offering me advice on what I should and should not look for in a new laptop. Outstanding service and amazing professionals! I would recommend taking your computer here is you have any type of issues. You will receive fair, honest, and trustworthy service!

Wow! What a gem of a place. We just moved to RI a few months ago so when my husband dropped his laptop last week we didn’t know where to take it. We read every review on Unilocal and picked D.A. Computer. They were fast, communicative and very reasonably priced, considering the miracle they performed on the laptop! They are true Super Heroes!

I brought my computer here about a month or two ago because I was having issues with the screen. They replaced my computer screen very promptly, and when I got it back, it was totally fine. A couple of weeks later, the screen started acting up again — not nearly as badly as it was before, just enough to be slightly annoying. Then last week, my screen just stopped working altogether. I brought it back in and they put me at the top of the queue because I was having an issue with something they had already fixed and they wanted to make sure I was satisfied.
It turns out that it would have been more expensive to fix the problem than it would be to replace my computer, so they replaced my computer. For free. They transferred over the hard drive, gave me back my old computer and my old charger, gave me the new computer and the new charger that came with it, and threw in a docking port for the hell of it. I really can’t recommend them highly enough. If I ever have any issues with this new computer, I’ll go back to them right away.

I brought my old Mac here and it turned out that it was just not worth it to me to have it repaired.
He was very straightforward about my options, I didn’t feel pressured one way or another.

I cannot give enough stars to D.A. Computer! My son was building a new computer, post Christmas and we needed some help. Mike, who was working yesterday, came to the rescue. First, he began giving our son assistance on building the computer, including positioning of the thermal paste, components, etc. I was so relived to find someone who knew what they were doing. I asked Mike if I could pay him to work with our son to make the computer. While we were there, a steady stream of customers came in – clearly having been here before. Mike focused on each one of them — answering their questions and taking their computers in for service. The customer service was terrific. Thanks to Unilocal,I found an awesome and honest place to take my computers when they aren’t working. I suspected my computer was a lost cause, but I brought it just to confirm. They were super nice and friendly and didn’t charge me a thing to look at it. David took it apart and showed me what the problem was and offered to give me a quote to fix it but said that we were really better off getting a new computer. So glad I came to D.A. to put my mind at ease.

I have a 2009 Dell Inspiron that was running as slow as sh** and didn’t want to get a new one, so I started searching out computer repair places. D.A. Computer came up as the highest rated on Unilocal in the area, so I gave them a try. As soon as I got on the phone with David, he was eager, polite and helpful. Even though he said he was short staffed that day, he encouraged me to bring my tower in so he could have a look at it. I went down a couple of hours later, and David greeted me warmly and immediately hooked up my computer to diagnose the problem. The thing I liked most about coming here is that David helped me fix my computer based on what I needed, not what HE needed. Unlike going to the big box stores where the employees are mostly salesmen, David doesn’t try to sell you anything. He told me that despite my computer’s age, it was a good, functioning system, which most likely had a ton of viruses and half deleted programs slowing things down.
I left my computer in his hands with the promise that he would be the only one working on it and would not poke around or compromise any of my sensitive information. I believed him because he immediately struck me as a nice guy with a lot of integrity. I was right. The very next day, he called me and told me my computer was ready and he had cleaned up a bunch of junk and my system was running lightning fast. And now it does run like a brand new computer.
If I ever have another computer issue, I am definitely coming back to David. He runs a great small business, has competitive pricing, operates with integrity, and he’s a heck of a nice guy to chat with. I will recommend him to everyone.

I was lucky enough to find DA on Unilocal as I was in need of some help. My laptop was 8 months old and was working fine, then all of a sudden it seemed like the keyboard was locked. I tried to figure it out but needed an IT guy.
I went to DA and right away they made me feel at home. They are very personable and very easy to get along with. They will not make you feel that you should already know certain things about your computer like other companies and they will not sell you stuff you don’t need or don’t know about just to increase their bottom line.

Amazing Work by Dave! Had a ton of viruses and took care of them quickly and efficiently went the extra step at no extra cost! At first was hard to reach in office… but called cell phone and picked right up!

My computer was not working I found DA computer repair online I went in talked to David he told me what was wrong with the computer gave me a reasonable price told me it would be ready the next day and it was. My computer runs excellent very happy would recommend DA computer repair.

My computer contains nearly every important piece of information on it including almost every piece of school work I completed in college. So naturally I just about lost it when my computer wouldn’t start up normally, during finals week while I was writing a term paper.
I took it to a repair shop in my neighborhood who told me the hard drive was toast and wanted to charge me per gb to remove the data from the drive. The gentlemen at this repair shop quoted me a much more reasonable flat rate to retrieve my data and completed the work in a very timely manner. He saved from missing an important deadline and crying in a corner while clutching my now useless computer. So if you’re about ready to toss your computer out the window come here to get a honest opinion about whether or not that’s the best course of action.

Great place to have your Computer or Laptop fixed. Sent a few friends from work and they loved it as well. Quick turn around on getting our things fixed. will keep sending people there and do business there myself.

Don’t try to figure it out yourself… you’ll just get frustrated. Bring it to someone who knows what he’s doing. And he will always give you a fair price. My mom and dad were ready to buy a new computer. I told them to take it to D.A. Computers and let him tell you if you need to go that route or not. David cleaned it up and it was as good as new. He saved them a bundle and they were very happy!

Dave, the owner and as far as I can tell sole employee, is a great guy who’s genuinely eager to help. I took my desktop in after the Geek Squad at Best Buy told me that my motherboard was fried and suggested I buy another computer. Seriously. I won’t bore you with specs, but this was a top-​of-​the-​line machine purchased only two years ago for a substantial price. Dave took a look at it and in no time correctly diagnosed the issue: my video card. Quick fix, relatively inexpensive, and my beloved computer is back up and running like new thanks to Dave’s friendly expertise.
