Best Western Plus Arbour Inn & Suites

Found gross white stains on the chair, hair in the bed, and a booger on the picture frame in the room. Not to mention it smelt like dirty socks in the room. Stayed for 5 minutes then left, couldnt take it anymore. Not sure if all rooms are like this but im never going back there again either way

We booked this hotel on one of those outside travel sites and boy, did that bite us in the tuckus. We arrived and so did a hundred people at 9:30pm. The front desk staff was mildly efficient. When we got to our room we realized we were given a handicap accessible one with a bathroom that smelled like a sewer. Also, there was a dead bug on the floor. The room looked so promising (a little dated but we were so tired after driving over 12 hours) but we couldn’t overlook this. My partner headed to the front desk and asked them to move us to a different room but alas, they were booked to the gills with weary travelers. They offered to send someone to pour bleach into the drain. Really? I just want to sleep, not deal with the poor night staff infecting my nostrils with the smell of cleaning solution. On top of this, after going back to the car to grab additional items, our key no longer worked for our room. Fed up, we decide we weren’t going to stay here. My partner goes back to the front desk to tell them this and they seem surprised. Yes, Southerner, us Yankees don’t mess around.
If you’re going to book this place, don’t. There are so many hotels within a 10 mile radius. We thankfully found one 4 miles up the road at 10pm that would take us and it was a million times better for the same price.

We stayed here on our way home from Miami, FL to Illinois. The location is very convenient. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hot breakfast was delicious and very much appreciated. We will stay here again if in the area.

My boyfriend and I stayed here overnight. The place was good for the price. The room was clean. The elevator was a bit creepy and looked as if there need some maintenance done. The receptionist was nice. They had a nice hot breakfast of eggs, sausage, biscuits, and more. Based on the old reviews, it looks like they updated their breakfast to include healthy options of fruit and yogurt or the person did not see that there was more to the other side of table. The ice machine on the third floor has not been fixed still based on a October Unilocal review. There was an odd odor in the hallway near the elevator.
The room service was pretty good but pricey. We ordered wings, a 9 oz steak with 2 sides, and a 12 oz steak with 2 sides for $ 46.
I would come back here for the price. if you are on a budget, then go through
but if you want some city life them go to Hampton inn where it’s in the middle of everything.

Only been here 20mins and Im already dissatisfied, come to find out this hotel disables the TV so you cannot connect to it so no playstation no xbox and in my case no laptop to do my work which is a problem since i have vision problems.
CANNOT recommend for this reason many other hotels in this area.

Found a Groupon for this hotel and the reviews were definitely mixed… but we were just planning to sleep while doing some touristy stuff on Lookout Mountain and in Chattanooga.
The front desk staff was friendly and quick at check-​in. Lobby looked pleasant enough. Our suite was spacious and decent but could do with some basic fixes and updating. The fan in the bathroom didn’t work, jets in the tub didn’t work. The bathroom lock was just plain missing from the doorknob, leaving a hole in the middle of it. The bedroom part seemed warm enough but I was up a bit late in the living room area and it got chilly without a jacket on. We were on the third floor and our ice machine was broken, so I had to go down a flight to get ice. No extra pillows, blankets, or sheets for the sleeper sofa so if I had needed to use it, I would’ve had to ask. Very rough towels in the bathroom. Like drying with sandpaper. But it was a hot shower with decent pressure. The bed was comfortable.
There seemed to be a large group staying there, with children running up and down the halls, playing on the elevator, people with their TVs turned up very loud at night, etc. Glad I had earplugs. They were probably the ones who left trash in the hallway, including some apple cores. Nice.
Some people probably love the breakfast because there is a lot of food there — eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, hashbrowns, a pancake machine, bagels, donuts, muffins. It would’ve been nice to at least have fruit and yogurt. If you’re not into greasy or heavy breakfast food you’re basically left with cold cereal or oatmeal. They had bagels and bread but I didn’t see a toaster. Most free breakfast buffets at least have apples, bananas, something like that, so that was surprising. Coffee was terrible but I didn’t expect greatness. The front desk sat unmanned for a pretty long time in the morning (with a sign saying the customer service rep was away briefly), but since I’d prepaid I just left my keys and took off when we were ready to check out.
Basically nothing to rave about, but much cheaper than staying in downtown Chattanooga, good location right off 75 and fine for a night’s stay.

Got a great deal on groupon, so I was hesitant about the hotel. We arrived late to a friendly desk staff. Got to our room around 10:00 and was amazed at how large the suite was. Lots of space, and but definitely was lived in some. We are not picky people, room was clean and shower was hot with good water pressure. It is about 10 min to downtown and we had fun in Chattanooga. Our friends stayed downtown in a nice bed and breakfast. It did not hinder us having to drive to meet them. Our weekend was cheaper than their one night. So if price matters, it’s a good choice. Overall, would come back.

Chose this hotel primarily because if it’s slightly greater than in between location from Chicago and Orlando. The reviews were decent so we gave it a shot. Traveling with two adults and two teens. We checked in at about 3pm on Saturday June 13^th. First impression in the lobby is that the poor guy working the front desk is overworked! It’s obvious management didn’t plan staffing properly for what we were told was a booked night. I’ll try and get his name and update this because kudos to him for doing his best and handling everything. It seemed like there were several rooms that weren’t ready at checkin time. Again, not his fault. Our room was ready. We went to our room only to find that it wasn’t ready. The beds were half made and was just in general disarray. We’re not snobs or anything and generally are looking for clean but sometimes you can just tell when something was cleaned and something was thrown together to appear clean. I have two teenage boys. I’ve seen thrown together clean. That’s what the room was. Wife called down for another room. Guy at the front desk was, again, very helpful and put us into a new room that was indeed ready. The room itself was as another poster described. It was a two room suite and spacious. This room was very clean. We didn’t hit the pool or really do anything other than relax and watch the Blackhawks game after our long drive so I can’t speak for those amenities. If it helps anyone out there were an average Chicago area family with 2 teenage boys heading to Florida. We weren’t looking for «fancy». Just clean and safe. Our room was both. Yes the hotel needs some updating and general TLC but honestly it’s not bad. Judging by others in the area I’m not really sure you could do better or worse. I can say that our extended family traveling with us stayed at a hotel right next door because this one isn’t pet friendly. They are not happy with that hotel and the pool is literally green. So that being said this hotel is better. Others complained about a dirty room. I can see their complaints as its a bit of a luck of the draw. Ours (second room) was, however, clean. The front desk guy is doing his best but obviously overworked. The hotel overall needs some love and someone making sure things are done. Overall, it’s not terrible. We have stayed in better but have definitely stayed in worse. If your looking for lots of glamorous amenities and bells and whistles, this isn’t the place. We weren’t looking for that. We needed a clean and safe place for a night and this did its job. If your room isn’t clean, demand a clean one. That’s what we did and it worked out. Hope this helps someone.

Looked good from the front and reviews were decent for a one nighter. Check in was quick. One Unilocaler said it was a polished turd… it’s just a turd. Someone stopped the polishing. The rooms, hallways elevator carpet all outdated and appear dirty. At one point the bathroom was updated but not kept up. The tub drain is very slow and there is not much for hot water. The décor is outdated and depressing. The beds are decent (only one hair and it was from the head area) and no funny smell in the room, just the hallways and elevator. Seems that the area is quiet (Saturday night at 9:30) but all the security cameras have me a little puzzled. There are multiple cameras outside which doesn’t bother me but why are there so many inside? There is a camera in every hallway at every corner, that doesn’t make me feel safe that makes me wonder what goes on in the halls that requires cameras. The hotel is sold out so it’s either not so bad or no other option.

Not as well kept. The room door got locked with us inside :-(The food at breakfast was not very healthy. Service was very caring. We might stay again but the hotel environment should be improved.

We were actually in the northwestern part of GA for a wedding a few weeks ago and this Best Western was the spot to pop up for us on Hotwire. Though it was a bit of a drive from where the wedding festivities were happening, we had no problems getting to and from this spot just outside of the city proper.
We arrived late on a Friday night to check in and there was one woman on staff at the counter running the show. She was so nice and was even helping an elderly couple take their bags to their room. It was so nice to see. She was so friendly even though it was close to midnight.
Our room was pretty nice. Standard and everything functioned as it should, bed was comfy, heater worked, etc. It was pretty cozy since it was soooo cold outside, too. We slept like logs.
The breakfast is pretty stellar, too. Biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, and the coolest pancake machine I’ve ever seen and experienced. Pretty rad.
Note: This Best Western is pretty popular as it set up for conventions and such. It’s a bit more «campus-​like» and is pretty large. All of the main parking is around the back of the building.
I’d recommend this hotel to anyone. It was a great spot to stay and is easy to get to and from off of I-​75.

Nice, clean rooms and common areas. Plenty if parking, prices reasonable, and the free breakfast was pretty good
The staff from the counter person to the housekeeping staff were all helpful and friendly.
We will stay there again.

Stayed in suite during weekend stay. Stay was friendly. Two flat screen TVs in each room. Although you can tell it has been updated, it still feels dated, dark and old.

This hotel has an unfortunate distinction of being almost impossible to see from the street because it’s tucked way in the back, behind the parking lot. However, it’s a hidden gem. The standard room was large, clean, and the décor was smart and up-​to-​date. The room had a microwave, mini-​frige, iron/​ironing board, and a nice work desk. Free wireless Internet access in the room. All the staff that I met were friendly and helpful. The free breakfast bar is filling, but that’s about it. This certainly has to be one of the best hotels in Chattanooga, in any price range. There’s a convenient Bi-​Lo market and Wendy’s restaurant right across the street.

The Hotel is right next to Camper World which is a plus for me, the room was clean and recently updated. Had no complaints better than the Holiday Inn we left in St. Augustine. The hot breakfast was nice and tasty. The staff at the front desk was great and especially the young man that recommended a local family restaurant for us called the Epicurean. The rate of $ 55 was a price line special, the room was an excellent deal at that price. The AC did make a noise every time it turned on which made it hard to sleep that’s why I did only 4 stars.

Broken faucet handle, slow drain, bathroom that smelled like vomit, floors so dirty I wore my shoes, sinking mattress on the pull out sofa. Many minor details were ignored.
Front desk guy at 2 am was super nice and quick to get me checked in. Biscuits and gravy were the best I’d had in awhile. No fruit offered at breakfast.

This hotel is okay if you’re just staying for a night and aren’t planning on being there for a while. There isn’t a lot around; a lot of the surrounding stores are out of business. It’s also quite a bit off the road so it’s a little hard to find. Otherwise it was good for the price we paid. Good breakfast!

Not a bad Best Western but it didn’t blow me away either. But considering it’s a mid-​level hotel I shouldn’t have expected much. Got a deal here from Hotwire for around $ 69.00 a night. Room was clean and the bed was pretty decent. I stayed on a Friday night and there must be a dirt race track nearby because I could still here them racing around 10:30pm. I didn’t eat the complementary breakfast but when I checked out I saw the spread and it didn’t look bad. My only beef with this place, the wireless internet was horrible. My room had three different routers it could pick up but none of them would stay connected for more than a few minutes. When it was connected it was dreadfully slow.
