When I heard that Carvel was serving pumpkin soft serve, I-SCREAMED! lol This was the only Carvel in the Lynbrook/East Rockaway area for a long time. When one opened closer to home, I still came to this location. It is clean, has plenty of parking and the staff is always friendly. As the years went on, the prices went up but, I understand. It is business. There are tons of flavors to choose from and of course, the good old chocolate, vanilla, swirl and now PUMPKIN soft serve. I always have to get some rainbow sprinkles because they just taste better at Carvel! The pumpkin is so good! Thanks Carvel for making the fall season even better!

This place is very clean and the employees are absolutely incredible! They go above and beyond for the customer’s, including myself! I always order my usual and it’s so convenient, I live right up the street! I get ice cream from the store about 2 or 3 times a week. Mint chocolate chip baby! Always the best! I will only go here for my ice cream. I’m super super picky too!!!

One of the cleanest Carvels around! Fast service, and always fully stocked. Love the waffle cups.

The best Carvel around! Consistently great quality ice cream and friendly staff. A lot of other Carvels run out of Fudgie the Whale on holidays like Father’s Day, but the E. Rock Carvel never disappoints. It’s always a nice treat on Wednesday afternoons since«Wednesday is Sundae»(buy 1 get one free sundaes) — a tradition I enjoy with my kids just like I did growing up.

I’m such a bad girlfriend. I wrote the wrong review for the wrong Carvel that my boyfriend’s family owns… …get the chocolate soft serve with oreos. You’ll be amazed. You can thank me later :)

This is the best Carvel! I remember the old owner, Henry, who used to play basketball with us when we were elementary school kids, offering free sundaes if we could beat him(we couldn’t). And well, the current owners are super nice too, and I also know that they are meticulous about cleaning/maintenance of their machines and that the ice cream in the freezers are always fresh. In Carvel I can run wild and be creative with my ice-cream-ology. I’ve seen high school girls go in there and try to be all artsy with their ice cream orders and I couldn’t help but think that that shit would turn out nasty. But mine, mine are awesome — I promise. Some of my fav combos over the years are a simple cookies n’ cream megamix(but with cake batter ice cream mixed in as well), for a hot day — fizzlers(used to be on the menu), which are a soda float(seltzer if u don’t want too sweet, 7-up for normal, orange soda for extra sweet) using vanilla ice cream and a sorbet(usually lime or orange), and finally a vanilla sundae layered with the brown bonnet chocolate that hardens, with peanuts mixed in, and caramel and hot fudge drizzled throughout(think snickers). There are some other intricate things i’ve thought up but I don’t want to give ideas because it might be a pain for the staff to make haha. and anyway — get your own! They also have specials on some weekdays I think. I forget which.
