Wonderful Korean cuisine. The place was clean and neat, the service was good. We ordered Kimchi bokum and the size was very big for one person. The taste was excellent. I couldn’t finish, so I had to take home. Bibimbap had a lot of vegetable in it. Fish soup(Mae Woon Tang) was so fresh, and more pieces of fish than any other Korean restaurant in Palisades Park. Fried dumplings were crispy and tasty. The parking was a bit problem, but on the street, plenty of spaces available. Even though the place is not so fancy, you can enjoy real Korean food at a reasonable price($ 3-$ 5 cheaper than any other Korean restaurants). Highly recommend.

One word: pricey. The food tastes as good as other comparable Korean restaurants but a couple of dollars more expensive.

Been here twice and had two different versions of bulgogi bento boxes — one with the fried pork cutlet and the other being beef. Both dishes were spot on! The ambience is casual with a hint of classiness to it, thanks to the cleanliness of the place in part. We also tried their hot stone bowl dishes and they too were delicious. The prices are just right since the portions here are generous! Will definitely come back here and maybe try their famous bibimbap next time.

The only Korean restaurant in town, it seems. We’ve driven by so many times, I figured that we should give it a go. A clean and open dining room had several tables looking like they were chowing down on some serious grub. We were seated and our orders taken. The menu isn’t very large, and the veggie options were limited, but pescatarians will be able to find a few things. The small plates brought ahead of dinner were all good. The tofu with spicy pepper paste was good, as was the kimchee. As a main, we both had the seafood noodle soup. Mussels, clams, shrimp, and calamari with broth, pepper paste and noodles. Decent flavor and a prominent amount of spiciness, this dish hit the spot. I would have liked for the two small shrimp added to the dish to be peeled for easier eating. Service was good and prices were reasonable.

Not the best Korean restaurant that I have been to, but very authentic. I had their Spicy Pork in the Hot Stone Bowl. The StoneBowl is legit. Super hot and capable of crusting the rice. But the flavor was lacking. The Spicy pork topping was greasy. I would have preferred less spicy and more flavor. This was simply one dimensional. There was no porky goodness. Service is ok. I saw the server help grill meat on another table. So if you are getting BBQ, they will cook it for you.

We met a former co-worker here as it was the closest to both of our offices. I had never known three was a Korean restaurant in this town, but I’m glad we came across it. The ambiance is casual and clean. It’s actually Japanese-Korean fusion, but I really only noticed the Korean menu items. I had the dol soat(hot stone bowl) bi bim bap and it was well done. The banchan selection was decent, not overflowing, however. My companions had the buddae jjigae and beef fried rice. I think everyone enjoyed their meal. Service was good, food came out quickly, would definitely come back here again.

Went here for the first time with my husband and son… we didnt want to drive all the way to Palisades… our son had the Bulgogi bento box, which was huge, we both each got the spicy pork bowl… amazing. We also had a side of the dumplings. For everything, we spent $ 60. Some would say thats alot for 3 people, but we were stuffed, and still have so much food left for later… and the service was genuine and great. Definitely going back often in the future. Worth the visit. Id rather spend $ 60 on great food and great service, than going to Mc Donalds for crap, and realize theres no napkins and no straws, and half a container of fries… js…

This is a hidden gem. Not«elevated», not«fusion», just fantastic Korean food. My GF and I arrived on a weeknight, and found it to be mostly empty. I will say that normally, this is a turnoff, but we both wanted a quiet meal, so it worked out great. Our server was great. Quick, friendly, and efficient. The food was great. I went for a Bulbogi Bento Box, and GF did the Bi Bim Bop in a hot bowl. The meal starts with the fairly ubiquitous Korean appetizers, Kim Chi, sprouts, etc. There were a couple that I have never had anywhere else. They brought out a boiling egg dish, and some delicious pickled radish/onion/jalapeño dish. It was amazing. Apologies to my GF for pretty much devouring that entire bowl… Her Bulgogi was very good, and my Bento was great. Again, one thing I did not expect, it came with a small ball of lightly sweetened mashed potatoes in addition to the rice. They were delicious. The beef was tender, well marinated. The fried dumplings were amazing. After we were done, we were given 2 tiny bottles of sweet yoghurt drink. It wasn’t our thing, as we’re not big on sweets, but it’s a nice touch. Ho Ho Korean gets a Solid 5 stars. Well done!(We’ll be back!)

We tried the seafood pancake to start and it is delicious and I liked the variety of things in it. It was made up of calamari, mussels, green scallions, onion. The table also comes with many sides to go with the entrees. They give you bean sprouts, salad, kimchi, spicy pickles, boiled egg, and horse radish. For my main mean entrée I got the bi bim bap in the hot stone bowl and it was just what I was craving. A great mix of ingredients topped with an egg. I may not get it in the hot bowl next time because it took a little while to cool down. I still ate through it and enjoyed it. My friend had the bulgogi bento box and I had the chance to try the bulgogi. It’s seasoned very well and is very good. I would like to come back and try that meal. I Liked the experience and it fulfilled my Korean cravings! Will be coming back.

What a great dinning experience a warm and helpful staff, the food was well prepared and very fresh. If you like heat this is the place a party of 5 and everyone raved about every dish. The squid bowl was out of this world with just enough heat, other dishes had that night were octopus bowl also super, the bean curd was one of the freshest I have ever had. This truly was a fun experience and will be back again. Hint don’t be afraid to ask for the house specialities.

What a lovely little gem this place was! First things first: its a BYOB and the service was great! We were constantly getting refills, didn’t feel rushed, and they even gave us extra kimchi! Woohoo! My husband and I went on a Friday night, the place had a nice mix of people and wasn’t uncomfortably crowded! We were greeted immediately with hot tea and the menu, and shortly after served an array of Korean appetizers(steamed egg, pickled veggies, bean sprouts, salad, squash, kimchi). We ordered the bi bim bap in the hot stone bowl and the BBQ short ribs. No complaints on either part! They were both delicious! At the end of our meal they gave us yogurt drinks along with our check. I would definitely go back and would recommend this place to anyone interested in trying out Korean BBQ!

We started with the scallion pancakes, which were good but not amazing. Ordered the thinly sliced beef soup with scallions and mushrooms. The broth was so flavorful, and actually sweet, in the most delicious way. SO good. My friend got the octopus stew… Spicy and tasty. The octopus was a little too chewy for my liking(and yes I know octopus is chewy to begin with). The service was good and prices reasonable. Would definitely return to try more.

Great Korean resturant run by a very nice family. The main hostess is sweet and has good recommendations on the food. After ordering they bring over several selections as starters, usually including an excellent kimchi, spicy cucumbers(my favorite), and steams eggs. Food has always been excellent, been there at least a dozen times. I generally order spicy octopus with udon noddles and love their spicy chili sauce, rich and we’ll balanced. My wife gets the bibimbap for the crispy rice at the bottom. Service is always at the right pace, but never slow. They give you time to enjoy the food. Quiet music in the background. They do the Korean bbq, I have not tried that yet but it always looks delicious when I see other patrons order it. Highly recommend this resturant, you will not be disappointed.

Although this place is small the food decent with all the Korean dishes that people come to eat. The main problem is the parking because they do not have lot for customers. There are off street parking but you’ll have to search for one. It’s located on the main ave in town. This a family own and operated business as far I can see.

The service was very good as was the food! The side dishes were super yummy too. We got mandu as an appetizer and it was great. The food was served quickly and it was delicious! I got hot stone bowl bibimbap, my mother got shrimp fried rice, and my brother got donkatsu. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Good food and service. They serve hot roasted tea as soon as you are seated which is delicious and wonderful to drink when it’s cold out. Pricing is similar to other Koreans restaurants. We ordered fried dumplings and seafood pancake for appetizer and it was delicious. The side dishes were tasty and well seasoned and they will give free refill if you ask. My husband and I had the beef bibimbap and it was good. Our kids had the beef fried rice and they enjoyed it as well. We drove passed by the area before and never realized there was a korean restaurant there until we Unilocaled! The place looks very plain on the outside and more modern inside. It has a few tables. We were here on Friday around 6pm and there are plenty of seats but people started to come in shortly after a few minutes. You can reserve a table. Yes, there’s take out too. Now, if only there’s parking! Parking is off street.

The restaurant has pretty basic Korean staple dishes… but not much of a variety either. Their tofu soup hit the spot however when I was craving it. Not many Korean restaurants in this area so it’s worth a try.

I always enjoy my experience at Ho Ho. Really friendly staff and yummy food! Most recently, I ordered the spicy soft tofu, which comes with a small bowl of white rice, but I usually get the hot stone bibimbap. All pleasurable! Probably my favorite thing about Ho Ho’s is their banchan. So delicious! The last set of side dishes we got included fish with peanuts, and string beans with bulgogi? Totally delicious! Wished I could of had more of that goodness. I have been to Ho Ho’s a few times and we are always happy to go back!

There aren’t very many Korean restaurants in southwest Bergen County. This is one of the few that I know of. Its a standard Korean restaurant with pretty good food and service. Came here with someone for lunch. Soon after we sat down we started with the banchan(side dishes), which was plentiful. I had the dolsot bimbimbap(rice with meat and vegetables in a sizzling stone bowl). The vegetables were fresh and the meat was tasty. The flavor of the food went well with the hot bean paste that I mixed into the bowl. It wasn’t too crowded when we went, so we had no problem getting a table and we weren’t rushed at all. The servers were nice and friendly. Food came out quickly and our waters were refilled quickly as well.

I’ve passed by this Korean restaurant many times but never thought to enter due to its lack of curb appeal and I’m usually in Fort Lee or Pal Park getting my Korean food on. However, I decided to give it a chance due to the decent reviews and close proximity. As I entered to my surprise, the interior did not match the shady exterior. It was clean and inviting. There were only a couple tables occupied in addition to a very large party. So you won’t have any problems getting a table here. The menu offers traditional Korean fare including Bbq. Being in East Rutherford, I thought the prices would be a bit less, but it’s comparable to those of FL/PP restaurants. Specifically I’m talking about the BBQ. I was not expecting the banchan(the small appetizer plates), but was pleasantly surprised when they brought it out. It included the standard seasoned/pickled vegetables, kimchi, and egg soup. We ordered a small seafood pancake, a bibimbap in a stone pot, and a cold noodle dish. The seafood pancake was pretty good with pieces of squid, shrimp. I also liked the bibimbap with beef, egg and the mix of veggies. The rice on the bottom got extra crispy which I liked. My husband was craving cold noodles and ordered this dish with pork and noodles literally sitting in ice. He wasn’t a big fan and vowed to stick to his regular dishes from then on. All in all, I’m glad I gave Ho Ho a try, for I now know I don’t always need to go to Fort Lee for Korean food.
