Why Brooklyn must you close in the winter? I assure you we would freeze our asses off for your entertainment. The open air concept is amazing from the lights to the palm trees you have left Brooklyn and entered some kind of techno heaven. Get this… They have seats and tables that you don’t have to pay for! Thank you BM for setting a new standard. The bathroom line? What bathroom line there’s 100 disgusting potties to choose from and lastly we cant forget the food vendors for which I wouldn’t have enjoyed techno and tacos sitting on a cement floor. All jokes aside I’m loving it

I made my way to this spot in July over the summer and it seemed like the gold standard of clubs in the area or at least this event tried to be the gold standard. I love the atmosphere of the spot but the overall events including others i looked up at this venue seemed very expensive, like $ 40 to 100 for every single event. Initially I can’t complain too much the event I did attend was $ 75 but gave you access to club and the chance to party from 4pm saturday to literally 4AM Saturday. Some of my favorite Dj’s happened to be there too: Roxy Cottontail, Jubilee, Nadastrom, Boys Noize(headliner) and the Dirty South own, Trina. Venue is huge, and there could have been a better bathroom situation. There was outdoor fun, indoor fun and all over just run around and explore stuff to do. The place on the bad side is kind of a few blocks from the train and in the middle of nowhere. Middle of nowhere, like no store around to even buy a soda or chips for at least half mile away type of far. The views at the rooftop were amazing and the beer situation was decent, only bought one and it did not cost an arm and a leg. Also, they offered some nice beer options, not just horrible budweiser and PBR only like some places. The party outside was great, Palm Trees around gave a feeling like you were not in NY as it was also like 85 degrees at almost midnight. Trina, the baddest bitch had the crowd really moving, she still got it for 39 years old. Once she finished around midnight the party had to completely move inside(I guess noise complaints in July from the neighbors plus I guess that is how the permit just happened to be). Space wise had no problem with the place just to me, every event held here did not have to be $ 50 to 85, just for a walk in. I guess for the one and only time I entered, had a good time but not great one. Honestly did not have the stamina to stay at this party till 4am, I was there since 5pm after all, so left at like 1:30 am. Still got enough time to celebrate, time to dance and take pictures, so the money spent turned out to be worth it especially seeing Jubilee, So Super Sam and my favorite Dj from my youth, Roxy Cottontail.

The best time I’ve had in my entire life. So far. Sometimes, when I sleep, I dream about all the amazing times I’ve had at this place. Sometimes, also, I’ll have a dream where CityFox tweets that they’re bringing this place back. I jump out of my seat, I call all my friends, I buy tickets on Resident Advisor and I blast music in celebration. But then I wake up. I look on line to see if I might have had one of those dreams where I predict the future, but I don’t see any news of the Mirage coming back. I get sad. One time, the first time it happened, I actually cried. — The day The Mirage comes back will be a great day for East Williamsburg and a great day for me… in my life… personally. It will be better than the day my child was born. My child is imaginary right now, but I think the point I’m making is still pretty clear. Come back Mirage… come back… I’m lost in a desert and only you can save meeeeeeeeee

This was the illest venue I’ve ever hit in my life! Really the only reason I just gave it 4 stars was because of the port-a-potty situation because DAMNSON, river of sludge(I’m just gonna tell myself it was all sludge) was flowing all over the place and the port-a-potties were flooded out, so I assume that if you just HAD to take that nasty dump, it was splash city, lmao. Otherwise though, City Fox really did a bang up job of putting this together. Palm trees flown in, the most amazing sound system I’ve ever heard, and I’m talking about outside because the enclosed space made the sound reverberations come back in the most wonderful way possible. It was like being trapped inside of a beat. It was kind of like when you see those movies or cartoons, of someone trapped in the desert, dehydrating, and then they suddenly have a hallucination of Shangri-La, with the flowing waterfalls and palm trees and stuff. It was pretty much that with music and party rooms, which I guess is why it’s called, «The Brooklyn Mirage.» Also, the side buildings were each 3 or 4 floors of other party rooms, with multiple roofs and there was an entire warehouse party with other DJ’s spinning in it too, that could have been a party on its own. Not to mention there were a bunch of bars. I’m sad to see this place go but good Lord it was a blast!

I had high expectations for this venue but no… it was grimey and gross. Maybe it’s because I went on a rainy night, but this warehouse does not even have real windows. Their opened surfaces are covered by a thin garbage bag. You can feel the wind/rain while you’re inside. Also, this warehouse is on a shady street behind what looks like garbage dumpsters. The only good thing about this place was the cool lighting and sound system. Besides that, I felt that this place was dirty and the alcohol was way overpriced. Also, there’s a random food truck parked outside by the building so it smells like cheese and food everywhere.

I was here this past for The Black Magic event w Chriss Vargas & friends. Since this was a last minute thing online tickets for the event was not an option tickets at the door were $ 50 not terrible I had checked online & they were only like $ 3 – 4 dollars cheaper not much of difference here. The venue is located on a dead end street coming up to the place seems kinda shady I know I was like where the hell are my friends taking me? Not much to be said about the outside at first look doesn’t help that the street is a hot mess. Moving along u get past the ID& then u get ur ticket by the next table. CASHONLY ughhhh I gotta say I get why places do this but it’s such an inconvenience specially now a days they do have an ATM inside no clue on the charge didn’t use it but when u have no other option guess it’s all there is. Walking into the place The first area is pretty big I will assume that this space is probably for indoor parties once u walk outside its like bamm… great big open space. There is bar in the front, next to that there was a food vendor think the food was Mexican good idea to have … another bar in the back by the bathroom area. As for the space itself it’s great lots of room to move around, dance & just Hang out. Good sound system only thing missing here are the lights. Lights would make this place even better. We danced the night away & had a really good time this place was a lot fun even tho it’s Brooklyn I would definitely make my way back for the right event.

I went for the Full Moon party, and found the place to be the perfect tranquil setting they sold themselves to be. The terrace they had from where you could see the picturesque moon along with the stage underneath was the best part of the setting. All in all a great experience with some great music, drinks and ambience.

This place is a great and cool looking venue but it’s pricey and really in the middle of no where. We had to pay 75 to get in and while there was a lot going on I really wish I had paid less. I was there for the day and till about 10:30 and was ready to leave and go to another place for a bit more wild energy. Friends I was with stayed till sunrise and said it was a lot of fun.

This venue is awesome, it’s aesthetically pleasing, there’s enough dancing space, the balconies are for everyone, the sound is pretty good, the bars serve Aperol & Mezcal, the people are all chill, the music’s good(äme threw it downnnn), the light projections are amazing to look at but… It smelled like cheese pizza everywhere. At first I thought it was the pizza shop they had set up because I saw a ton of people eating pizza. Till I actually visited the food section and noticed it was just a tiny Luzzo’s stand. it made me remember the geography of the venue… We’re pretty close to a waste disposal plant. But not close enough to smell straight up garbage, you get more of hot garbage smell that’s kinda reminiscent of cheese pizza. Not a good smell, but if you didn’t notice it, you may never notice it, but if you do, now you know it’s not cheese pizza.

This is hands-down my favorite venue in New York. I’ve been to All Day I Dream with Lee Burridge, and Dixon and Ame. Both times were perfect. I’d even dare say the vibe you get is similar to electronic music festivals in Europe, on a much smaller scale and for a shorter period of time. There’s plenty of places to hang out and dance, whether it’s in from of the dj booth, in the back or on one of the many balconies and rooftops around the venue. There’s a cool indoor space too, with high ceilings, some sofas and cool chandeliers. There’s several bars so lines are bearable for drinks, but cash only. Food truck also. Please note I know this is a venue that can host non electronic music events, this review is for electronic music events here, not anything else

It’s NOT East Williamsburg! It’s BUSHWICK! But hey, whatever you need to say to get to get the hipsters there right? For those who know the area it’s next to a garbage recycling plant. Bring your nose plugs.

I came here or the season’s opening event, The Cityfox Experience with Tale of Us. The space is definitely impressive, and the sound is pretty solid, including outside. The outdoor space really makes this pop-up venue worthwhile. With large palm trees and a small roof area with city views, the crowds were really loving the daytime party. Night party was exclusively inside, which was disappointing since the outdoors was so cool. Also, the main room was so stuffy and smoky that people inevitably had to escape back outside, where there was fresh air but no music. Better ventilation would be great. The side room, while smaller than the Den, had high ceilings and an open door to the outside. The crew moved out some of the couches, realizing there was too much of a bottle neck. Some additional things to note: bathrooms got particularly gross by the evening. There is a food truck inside that serves up a variety of foods. The two rooms sell different beers(why?!), and the prices are a bit jacked up. Pat down really seemed to vary from person to person, from very extensive to non-existent. They have some kinks to work out still, but overall, this is a solid spot. I would definitely come back for a daytime show.

Great venue. Lots of cool places to hang out, including roof decks and dens. Two indoor rooms and one out. Seems like up to 3 DJs at once. Pretty expensive though. Cover and drinks. And very uncomfortably hot in the main room on a cool night.
