Ntb-National Tire & Battery

Scheduled an appointment online to get an alignment and 4 new tires on my car. The ease of online scheduling was a plus. Arrived at NTB and was tKen right in. I appreciated how smooth this all took place. About a half hour into the work, I (a white guy in my 40s) was sitting in the waiting room with an older man (black guy in his late 60s) watching the television. Then the manager comes in and decides to contribute to the story on the television regarding the confederate flag. We quickly learned that people need to just «get over it» if they don’t like it then don’t look at it. Very similar to how he has to accept gay marriage. He doesn’t like it but he is forced to accept it. I found this very ironic as there sits a black man and a gay man in his waiting room having to listen to his opinions. He also then went on about guns etc. I can only assume that his opinions are the opinions of NTB because this happened while representing them. As a result, I will never shop with NTB again. I am likewise going to make sure that everyone knows of this experience. I have to add that I had to check out with this very loosed lip person and he didn’t offer any pertinent information about the services performed. I had to ask about the misalignment and consequent realignment of my car.

I have had great experiences with the NTB on Market Street near Home Depot. Last year, I needed reasonably priced tires for a Toyota Highlander I was selling. And they came through with good but reasonably priced tires.
And just this week, I had a puncture in my brand new 2014 Jeep Michelin tire and they did a repair for just $ 26. Now, they could have tried to sell me a new tire but were honest and just did the repair. Around Christmas where you want to spend money on gifts and not tires, this was welcome news!

The service I received was more than wonderful. The manager at the branch was extremely attentive and solely focused on the service I requested without trying to add on extra services! I would definitely go back to this location for any service I might need for either of my cars! Thank you National Tire & Battery for the great work and terrific customer service I received before, during, and even after my visit!!!

I went to the Mechanicsburg PA location to purchase a tire for my Dad’s Doge Ram truck. I was driving it and it had a blow out on the Columbia/​Wrighstville bridge. Since my Dad lives in Steelton and I was in the area I stopped there to replace the tire for him. They were helpful and later my Dad asked me to get the tire put on the original wheel which wasn’t done at Mechanicsburg for some reason. They did it for no charge and were very friendly about it. I would go here any time I need tires or service. My wife has since had her car inspected here and was not overcharged. I really appreciate the service and remember when they were Merchants which is part of NTB now.
