With 25 years experience, Two Decorative Painters has gained a reputation for excellence in the field of decorative painting. Individual clients and interior designers alike work with Two Decorative Painters for both residential and commercial projects on Cape Cod and in Boston, New York and Connecticut.

Skilled in all facets of decorative painting, their expertise includes creating hand painted wall murals, trompe l’oeil, multiple color faux finishes, and hand painted custom stenciling as well as highly detailed decorative furniture painting, texture techniques, and faux wood and faux marble.

From elegant wall murals to whimsical trompe l’oeil, from walls, floors and ceilings to decorative furniture, each project is carefully designed and customized by Two Decorative Painters to suit the style and taste of the client.

History

Established in 1990.

We began painting in 1991 for the renovations at Chatham Bars Inn. During the next 9 years we painted over 530 pieces of furniture and quite a few murals for them.

We continue to paint furniture and decorative walls. Most often working through decorators but do have private clients as well.

We have worked in Boston, Ct and NYC.

Having worked in the Decorative Painting profession for the past 25+ years I have been privileged to have worked for some of the finest resorts on Cape Cod and many private clients from all over New England.

Every finish whether for walls or furniture or a mural is custom to the client and to the situation. I work closely with clients to find just the right hue, texture and design. If one is going to hire a decorative painter that work must be of professional quality in materials and execution.

My trompe l’oeil work is something I find especially pleasing in the right situation. I love painting something that fools the viewers eye and I think the viewer enjoys being fooled… a win win.

I continue my education of the upcoming trends and products by attending workshops and visiting other studios.

I am also a fine artist working mostly in pastels and acrylics and currently learnt encaustic techniques.
