History

Established in 2015.

Bank in 2011 after several failing attempts to get a job in the field for which I went to college (Financial Analyst), my wife, whom back in Bogota-Colombia had a restaurant for 12 years and I decided to join skills and to put our own business, we started as a coffee shop, selling coffees and breakfast sandwiches, gradually we kept on building up our menu to the point that we couldn’t stay any longer in the same space nor being just as a coffee shop, that’s why after 4 years we decided to move this past April to a bigger location and that’s how El Chasqui was born. We specialized in Colombian and Peruvian dishes as well as American breakfast. We have something for every palate.

Luis E.

Manager

My wife owned a restaurant for 12 years in Bogota, Colombia and after her arrival to the US in 2010 and because we were on a recession period with her expertise in the business and mine with the financial we decided to open our own business in 2011, it was at first a coffee shop and little by little we kept on growing our menu items and also our customers kept us going with their positive feedback about our food. This is how in April of this year 2015 we moved to a bigger location offering full restaurant service at our current location.
