Absolutely ZERO customer service. Brought the 4 sandwiches back to work to find the plastic still on the liverwurst– we have been going in for years & years & won’t be back. The order was placed at 12:15 and ready at 1pm!!! When I called down to tell them about the plastic & the long wait — I was told —Oh well, you can talk to the owner… that is no way to treat a customer. They need a lesson in customer service!

I went for the first time on a Tuesday because I’d heard raving reviews about their chicken salad, which they only have on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The place is stark, cold and generally unattractive inside. They obviously can’t spare a few buck for new paint. It is very centrally located and could be very quaint and welcoming. Instead the décor is definitely«cold-war era communism» style. It was 12:40 pm and there were only a few customers. I thought that it was strange considering that I’d heard that people line up on Tuesdays. When I got to the counter, I ordered a chicken salad sandwich. «We don’t have any more,» was the response. Really?! They only serve it a couple days a week and they’d run out so early? I then ordered a tuna salad sandwich. «We don’t have any more,» once again was the reply. Hmmmm… a deli that doesn’t have chicken or tuna salad at lunchtime? I gave it one more shot. I asked for an egg salad sandwich. «We don’t have any more.» Are you kidding?! You’re a deli! You’ve got one job to do! I turned around and walked out. Three strikes in one visit. I won’t go back.

Amazing sandwiches and they’re huge! And and awesome price I never leave disappointed. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is they are very inconsistent with their hours.

«You get your money’s worth.» is what everyone has told me about Josie’s. I can say they are correct. This was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had so far. Four different selections of bread, fresh meats and cheeses. If you are going for lunch get there early because the line builds quick. What’s lacking in customer service is forgotten after you take your first bite.

Hands down, best chicken salad you’re going to find! Great food, old school NYC deli sandwiches for a great price. A must if you’re in Centre Square.

Would have love to try them – they listed Saturday hours, but were closed with no sign or explanation. Not very smart to be closed on Saturday with tons of people there for farmer’s maker.

Great sandwich for a great price. Pastrami was delicious! Nothing fancy but it doesn’t need to be for a good deli sandwich!

Got Josie’s for a business meeting, placed my order in the morning and everything was ready when I arrived. Everybody loved the hoagies I brought, only hard part is the fact that they only accept CASH, but I enjoy supporting local business.

Oh Josie’s, how I miss your chicken salad. I went to Lafayette and graduated in ’04, and I have been missing your sandwiches ever since! Next time I come back to Easton, I hope it’s on a Tuesday or Thursday so I can stop by for a fix.

Went here for the first time this past Tuesday. I couldn’t decide what to order, but someone behind me told me to have the chicken salad. 1. I’ve never had chicken salad, but went with the choice anyway. It was amazing. Service was fast and the prices are spot on. My only gripe is that there is no menu, just a list of «meats & cheeses»,…wasn’t very helpful for a first timer like myself.

Deli done right. I plan on adding this to my lunch rotation. Sandwiches are delicious, the kind of delicious that comes from about twice as much meat as you would expect. The portions are huge. Try the pastrami or chicken salad(tues/thurs only). Keep in mind, lunch is busy, be prepared to wait(or call ahead), and its CASHONLY!

Food is decent. Service is slow. Décor looks like a walk in closet. While the outside signage is art deco.

LOL… someone on here said the sandwiches are the size of a human head… and they were absolutely correct! This place isn’t trying to wow people with the furnishings… it is a very plain place, and I don’t even think i’ve ever seen anyone eat here… the majority get things to go… but I’ve never had a bad sandwich. The chicken salad is indeed popular, and they serve it now on Tuesdays AND Thursdays. but everything is freshly cut for the sandwich you want. Nothing is trying to be gourmet here, but Josie’s makes a sandwich right at a VERY fair price. Go give it a try

I was lucky enough to be back in town over a Tuesday so I could get Josie’s infamous chicken salad. $ 4.25 for a «half» a sandwich on rye, but really it’s the size of a whole sandwich anywhere else. I honestly don’t know what they put in their chicken salad, but I’m pretty sure it’s something addictive. crack perhaps? Regardless, this would be my top pick for a deli sandwich in easton.

Talk about inexpensive, ridiculously huge delish sandwiches… talk about Josie’s! This is a must see in downtown Easton, a family owned deli, where they take care of you just like you are their family! I grew up eating the peppered turkey, and Tuesdays is always Chicken Salad(I never tried it, but we used to flock there early just to make sure they didn’t sell out) I can’t say enough great things about this place — It is a great find if you are in Easton

come here when you’re hungry, because they will make you a sandwich the size of a human head. the tuna is absolutely wonderful, but tell them to chill on the mayo or you won’t be able to finish it. they have different daily specials so you shouldn’t have problems finding something you like. and it’s cheap!
