Trained under world renowned surgeon Dr. Guido LaPorta, Dr. Rocchio specializes reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, limb lengthening, diabetic charcot reconstruction, and pediatric deformity correction. In the final year of his residency, Among his most notable achievements, Dr. Rocchio developed a surgical procedure to replenish the atrophied plantar fat pad. His parachute technique is utilized by hundreds of surgeons every year. Dr. Rocchio is also the co-​designer of a unique external fixation frame utilized by hundreds of foot and ankle surgeons across the United States. Dr. Rocchio is frequently requested to lecture to other physicians on foot and ankle reconstructive surgery, limb salvage surgery, diabetic reconstructive surgery, and wound care.

Together with partner Dr. Adam Teichman, they are the Official Team Podiatrists of the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks (PIFL), Lehigh Valley IronPigs.
