Two Rivers Brewing Company

Popped in for lunch and brews before seeing a show at the State Theatre on Saturday. Service was friendly as we were seated, and although they were busy and only got busier as the late morning/​early afternoon progressed we never felt ignored. Beers were excellent — the flights were popular at our table, and I also appreciated the fact that they had their five standards plus seven seasonal options. Well done! Food was all excellent. They had a price fixe menu which had several soup/​salad/​appetizer options paired with entrée options for $ 15. I split the cajun fried frog legs — which were only on the price fixe but we were able to get alone — which were tremendous. Very impressive and original, especially for the region. Lunch was a fried oyster po’ boy, served with andouille sausage. The bread wasn’t NOLA worthy but thats nitpicking on my end — it was a killer sandwich, was delicious and filling and the oysters were of high quality. My wife enjoyed her special, the curried vegetable soup (not as spicy as I would have preferred but better for her which is what matters), and everyone loved the jalapeño hush puppies with maple butter. Those were a treasure. Wife ate the Black Bean and Lentil Burger with cabbage, beet, and Jicama slaw. Served with avocado. sriracha aioli. lettuce and regular fries, and she enjoyed it a lot. The duck fat fries are worth the trip on their own. Good gracious they are delicious. Beer wise the standards were all good to very good, and the dark saison was probably my favorite of the seasonal. Had a beer float for dessert, their stout with a scoop of homemade peanut butter ice cream in it. Wife and daughter had the mini donuts with caramel, loved them to pieces. Service wasn’t super fast, and was a little stressful as we got closer to showtime, but our server had the tab split between us and the family we were dining with without us asking, including who had drank what beers. Well done! Would happily return, great meal and a pre-​show necessity for us from now on when we are in Easton. Great spot. Great tunes, as well, the music was great the whole time!

Building has a great historic charm. Our server was very friendly and funny. Food was fantastic and the service time was perfect. Only reason i didnt give 5 stars is because i feel the beer selection could be a little bit broader but the chocolate coffee ipa i had was amazing. Would definitely recommend and will return again.

Great experience last night! Stopped in on our way home from a day out, and we’re super happy we chose two rivers.
My dining partner and I had had the beer before, but really enjoyed the Left Eye IPA. Refreshing and hoppy. I opted for the two rivers negroni and loved it.
Service was prompt and friendly. We were impressed with how quickly we gout our food. If you’re looking for a relaxed dining experience, this wouldn’t be that great, but we loved that we had just finished our appetizer of duck fat fries as our entrée (we shared) came to the table.
The food was delicious. The duck fat fries, as others have commented, are awesome. Get them. Either to start or upgrade to them with your sandwich. Just do it. So good, especially with the aoili served with them. We then had the bourbon BBQ shrimp with cheese grits. Loved the grits!
Definitely recommended!

Fantastic breakfast I just had! The steak and eggs skillet was the one I had and it certainly filled me with love for the place. I’ll definitely come back and try other menu selections!

Went for Saturday lunch. Lots of families. They give impromptu tours. Lovely historic building. Found parking easily on the street.
Split the bacon cheeseburger, duck fat fries and side salad. Burger was perfect, grass-​fed beef, very fresh. Fries were great, with cheese curds and special dipping sauce. Salad was excellent, fresh greens. Great meal for two, very reasonable price.
Tried a flight of beers. Favorite was the black IPA. Great pour. Good lacing on the glass, smooth and complex IPA taste with light hoppiness. Also liked the barley wine, very smooth for a high ABV drink.
Will definitely go back!

A beautiful building on the top of a hill. The food was good and reasonable. Didn’t see the famous turkey wings on the menu. The Belgium beers made on the premises were very good. Service was great, too.

I was very impressed with the beer and the food at Two Rivers! This place is serving the most yummy and innovative foods you can find around town, and the beer isn’t too bad either! My only issue was the service, which was slow and inattentive. Too bad, because I think this could have been 5 stars!
Came here with my new husband and the in-​laws for a family dinner and drinks. The restaurant is very loud, but that might be because it was popping on weekday night. We started with a few beers, and all of them were amazing, but I particularly loved their triple and their rye IPA. The cocktails were ok, but a little sweet for my taste.
For an appetizer, we got the chicken dip which was super tasty, and kind of reminded me of my own buffalo chicken dip that I cook for barbeques. It wasn’t spicy at all, but it was pretty garlicky, so maybe not something to order if you plan on cuddling up on a date!
For dinner I got the mussels and duck fat fries (definitely recommend you upgrade to the duck fat fries, they were the bomb dot com!), while my husband ordered half a pound of bacon (OMG!) with cheesy grits, brussels, and a fried egg. He definitely had the best meal of the night! His bacon was VERY rich, but extra flavorful and smoky, and the grits were the cheesiest I have ever had. We ate everything on the plate, it was so good (but now of course we need to work out for like six hours to work it off). My mussels were not as good… They tasted burnt, or like something in the sauce was burnt, so I mostly just ate the fries.
Service was a bummer. Our waitress was slow as heck, and our food took a very long time to get to us. Even our beers took forever, and I don’t like running low on drinks while I’m eating.
Also, we were there on weekday around 6 and ordered a round of drinks for four people, which should have fallen under their happy hour prices ($ 4 beers for happy hour, 4−7pm). By the time we left, it was around 8pm, but we were charged full price for those happy hour drinks. When I asked our waitress about it, she said that she would fix it, but it’s not her fault because normally «happy hour is by request only in the dining room», whatever that means. So, I guess, if you want happy hour prices you should definitely check your bill and make sure they add it (SHADY).
Overall, I would go back for the food, but maybe next time I would sit at the bar to avoid the dining room service.

Oh my goodness. I rarely actually leave reviews but I have to commend this place on so many levels.
While the outside seems kind of unassuming, once you walk in the environment overwhelms you in a positive way. The décor is elegant, the lights perfectly dimmed and David Bowie plays over the speakers, immediately followed by The Cure. The place apparently used to be an old hotel, they even kept the switchboard! Perfect for a meal or just a drink with friends
The waitstaff is friendly, helpful, and patient with questions. There was literally no wait for a table on a Sunday evening, yet the restaurant was vibrant and buzzing with people.
This IS a brewery so let’s get into the beer!
We had an excellent Belgian, a fantastic Bock, A phenemonal Farmhouse Ale and literally the best Dark Saison I’ve ever had. ⁴⁄₄ beers. I’ll be back!
The only thing that compares to the beer is the food. The missus had a pulled pork sandwich she loved. My peanut butter bacon cheeseburger can only be described as delectable. The concept was one of those «so odd I have to try it» things and I’m ecstatic I did. Try it medium rare so the burger juices mix with the peanut butter. This was truly an awesome experience and we’ll be back.
OH, they have a Merch area full of really cool stuff but we were in a hurry and didn’t get pricing.

Searching for the best restaurants led me a 5 minute walk to Two Rivers. We were greeted twice by two different servers. The man was very upbeat the women not so much at first. I get it we are not the typical bar goer (Me and my toddler) but it’s also a restaurant. We were seated near a window which was a perfect view and help kill time before our food came out, we practiced our colors. It was pretty slow 3 tables including ours so we were checked on often.
My pulled pork sandwich (with a delicious fried pickle) really hit the spot and was a perfect contrast to my dutch double IPA. I chose a house salad with white vinaiggrette as my side and it was amazing, almost made me wish I had ordered a salad. My daughters kids meal was a hot dog (with a choice of side) she had french fries and a drink all for $ 5. The female bartender eventually warmed up. Overall, the service and food met my expectations.
There is a unisex restroom to the right of the entrance with a changing table. Also, tables outside for warmer days.
It was a plus that I was able to park near the crayola factory (my reason for being in the area) and walk to the restaurant. On my way back I refed the meter.

A very nice brewpub in downtown Easton. Feels totally like an old school hotel that they converted into a restaurant.
Overall, a very nice atmosphere with friendly waitstaff. I want to say they have about 15 beers on draft, with 14 of them being their own brews, with one guest draft line. I had the destroyer IPA which was pretty tasty.
However, we didn’t come here for the beers. We came here for the food. We ordered the burger and mushroom gratin. Both dishes were excellent. The gratin, although small, was surprisingly filling and more importantly, CHEESY! Came out on a petite cast iron skillet, and was delicious.
The burger was HUGE, and cooked to perfection. Fries were delicious as well.
If we are ever back in Easton, we know where we are stopping by.

Went here for lunch on a Saturday. We were in a hurry so we ordered the two things that would normally have taken the least amount of time, the Gumbo and the Chili.
We first ordered bottled water but they didn’t have any – imagine that, a bar and restaurant that doesn’t have bottled water – Strike one.
We waited for 25 minutes for our order to arrive. Really?! Normally, chili and gumbo are just scooped out of a large pot into bowls. Speaking of bowls, we had a choice between a cup and a bowl so we chose the latter. When the order arrived, the gumbo was barely warm and the chili was room temperature. Strike two. For this we waited 25 minutes! They were served in very wide-​rimmed bowls to make the portion appear bigger. When inserting our spoons into the bowls, we hit porcelain. There was approximately ½″ in each bowl, less than a cup serving. I can’t even imagine how small the ‘cup’ serving would have been. We called the server over to tell her that the dishes were cold but because we’d waited so long, we would eat them anyway. She said, «Well, you won’t be charged for them.
When the bill came, the server said that the owner said that she wouldn’t comp both dishes because we could’ve sent them back instead to have them re-​prepared. Really?! After waiting for 25 minutes to be served the first time?! Strike three.
We won’t go back here and we definitely won’t recommend it to anyone

Arrived on a Tuesday evening for a 7:30PM reservation and the restaurant was pretty full. It was VERY loud in the restaurant but we were seated in a very nice two-​top table by the window.
I enjoyed a glass of wine and my bf tried their Banker’s Brown Ale on tap which he really enjoyed. We decided to start our dinner off with 2 appetizers… unfortunately they were out of the NOLA Chicken Dip which I was really looking forward to. Ended up ordering the bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers and the fried mac n cheese. The jalapenos were the star of the night! They were delicious –they are definitely a must try! The fried mac n cheese was good but needed to be a bit hotter and crispier (seemed to be room temp). But flavors were delicious.
For our entrees we ordered the Braised Short Rib sandwich and the Rajun Cajun burger (cooked medium). Substituted our fries for the duck fat fries and we were not disappointed (I believe it was an upcharge of $ 2?) — they weren’t the best truffle/​romano cheese fries I’ve ever had but they had a nice flavor. Burger cooked perfectly and the toppings were well thought out and unique.
Boyfriend’s short rib sandwich fell short of his expectations. Meat was on the tougher side. There were chunks of the short rib that was very chewy and tough. Would not order again even though the flavors were on point.
For dessert we ordered the apple cider donuts… which came deep fried. We weren’t expecting them to be deep fried (not mentioned on the menu) and would’ve probably ordered something else if we knew in advance. I wouldn’t exactly call them regular cider donuts… they were more along the lines of zeppoles or fried donut holes covered with apple cider cinnamon sugar with a side of caramel sauce. But the donuts were good! They were nice and soft on the inside with a nice outer crunch from the deep dry.
Service was good, waitress was friendly and regularly checking in on us. She was a bit busy handling multiple tables. Our main entrees took a bit more time but we didn’t mind since we had appetizers and it allowed for a bit more digesting time.

So I visited Two Rivers again to try out their food and their beer and I’m left with a 3 star experience. The food is good, but I always find myself wanted more from the experience. I wish the beer had more flavor, I wish the short rib poutine fries had more cheese curds, I wish the PB burger had more PB.
Personally, I feel like everything on the menu should be $ 5 cheaper for the quality you get. Don’t get me wrong, I think the food is good but not $ 15 burger and $ 15 poutine good… Like, I paid $ 40 for a burger and fries with a beer. I feel like that’s kinda crazy, But maybe that’s just me. Until their prices are in line with the quality, I have to drop them down a star.
Maybe they were having an off-​night, I’ll give another update after the next time I go.

One of the best burgers I’ve ever had! It was a bacon cheeseburger with a light layer of peanut butter and dusted with peanut brittle. So good! I loved the duck fat fries as well.
If you love beer this place is for you. My husband loved the Belgian triple.
I wish I had left room for dessert!

Have to admit, I was pretty nervous we would never get in once I called Saturday night and they said they had 0 room. We took a chance and headed there at 6:30pm and got 2 seats at the bar. Overall the service was a tad slower than I would like but the food made up for it.
Great beer menu! The flights are 5 beers instead of standard 4. They had a fun drink menu and the blueberry lemonade was awesome. Pints were $ 5, great deal and choices!
We started with the Nola chicken dip and I could have had 5 more orders. It was so delicious!!! The crostini to dip ratio was a bit off (more crostini or bread to dip in?!) but it was incredible. My boyfriend got the oyster po boy and loved it, I got the peanut butter bacon burger with duck fat fries and was terrified — it ended up being one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. The duck fries were rich and I couldn’t finish them but they rocked. The burger was so delicious!!! I’m dying to go back — this place is amazing!

This review is solely for seating at the bar. Every time I have went I have sat at the bar so I can’t really attest to the servers. I will say, however, that the bartenders are always doting and friendly. Stopped in today to try their new in-​house brewed beers. Very tasty! The duck fat fries are always a must every time I visit! All the other food I have had is really great too. Really creative spin on all sorts of different and ethnically varied types of pub food. It is a little loud in here, even with out a crowd and the bar stools aren’t that comfortable but the old building vibe makes you feel right at home!

GREAT burger. Peanut butter? Yup. Delicious. Duck fat, truffle fries.
Beers were great. The stout was especially good, and not overly chocolate my or coffee-​y.
The service was great, great with the kids too. Best restaurant burger I’ve had in a while.

I visited Two Rivers Brewing Company on a not so busy Thursday night for a pretty early dinner around 6. The food was surprisingly more sophisticated than I thought as walking in I had the impression its just another bar food place where people come mostly to drink for happy hours.
The place wasn’t too crowded but I think because it was a week night they were a bit understaffed perhaps, the front staff did seem to have work a bit little harder to keep all of the tables covered but overall the service was pretty good. We sat on the path to the kitchen so it was pretty hard to ignore us after all :)
The Venison sasuage I had were really good, I really wasn’t expecting this level of creativity with the menu and glad they turn out really well. The black bean burger I had a few bites as well and it was good as expected but really I think its the plates entrees dishes that I thought is what makes the place stands more than other restaurants in the area.
Definitely a very enjoyable meal here and a good atmosphere. I can definitely see why this place was so highly reviewed on Unilocal and really can recommend anyone in the area to give it a try.
