Thank heavens they finally closed! Worst customer service ever! Our waitress was beyond rude and thinking about it now, she must have known it was going to close down. I’d rather pay double elsewhere and get awesome customer service

We came here right after I got off the plane and I was famished. I was lucky enough to be here on the night that that were serving the ostrich appetizer which was cooked perfectly. For my entrée I had the osso bucco roasted leg of lamb with mash potatoes and gravy, very filling I had to get a to go plate. I would definitely come back here for my next visit. So much food so little time my friends!

Food/​Drink: Ordered gyros (one chicken) and the mix of starters. This was bottom of the barrel gyros, not that they have to be fancy, but for the love of –insert what you believe in– have some flavor. Nope, not even the tzatziki sauce could save it and trust me I tried. The hummus and other meze dips were decent, but I really like to think they could be better.
Ambiance: Here’s the shining highlight, the patio is good. I could totally see myself commuting home after a hard days work, getting off at the station and headed to this back patio to drown my sorrows in booze outside. It’s got an awesome breeze, not too crowded (not that there were a lot of people there when I was there), and boxed in enough so you’re not getting a ton of road noise.
Service: Here’s where it went wrong, we didn’t get served. We didn’t order for at least 10 minutes, after 15 minutes we got the starters, and the gyros another 15 minutes later. And don’t ask about refills for water or the bill. There were only a handful of groups out on the patio with us, and inside wasn’t too busy either so I couldn’t really understand why. Usually, I tip pretty decent, but I this time I needed to send a message and I’m sorry about that.
Overall: Skip it unless you are in the exact scenario I mentioned above; Hard night’s work, commuting home on the bus to the Eden Prairie station and need a drink at an outside bar before you head home (to the family, dog, unused gym equipment, etc). Remind yourself, because it’s true, it’ll be better tomorrow and choose another place.

I stopped there on my way out of town today because I wanted to expose my 8 year old twins to food from a different culture. We stumbled across it while looking for something that was not a chain. I remembered eating at Nicalow’s years ago, and the wonderful food and service, so when I looked it up and found the connection, I was excited to try the food.
We arrived at 5:30 without a reservation. The parking lot was about half full. We were seated immediately. The place was less than half full.
As I sat and waited for 20 minutes to have any employee acknowledge us or fill our water, my children started to become bored and hungry. At the 35 minute mark we got water. At 40, there was no sign of a server at our table. The two neighboring tables had people in various stages of eating, so I can only assume some waitstaff exists. We walked out without any employee noticing.
I guess I can’t rate the food, as we weren’t able to get any, but the water had ice in it.

Santorini, how much I want to love you and you simply won’t let me. It borders on the 2 – 3 area and this is cumulative for the 5+ times I’ve visited.
I’ve never done the brunch buffet, nor do I ever really plan on doing it for the cost and the drive it’d take to get down there, so this is entirely off dining in.
The service has never been good. It’s been ok and it’s been awful. What irritates me right off the gate and has happened a few times over, is that I set a reservation, show up 5 – 10 minutes before the time and still have to wait for 15 – 20 minutes past my reservation time. I get it, places are busy. But with how big the place is, set a sign on a table and actually reserve it.
As for table service from the wait staff, it’s really inconsistent. One visit it starts out great, we get attentive service, and then the meal comes and we can’t get a glass refilled or our meal drink to save a life. Or we get the check delivered without asking about dessert — which is annoying when you have a sweet tooth and don’t care to go somewhere else in the area to fix it.
Ambiance is all over the board given the loud bar, great patio, quaint dining area and what appeared to be a catering area transformed into yet another dining area. So, if you don’t want to hear the person you’re with, sit in the bar area. If you want a somewhat romantic area, the dining area is an option. Rest assured though, you’ll be sitting right next to someone else. For some reason, even with how big the place is you’re still crammed in there.
We finally come to the food. Some of the stuff is ridiculously overpriced, go figure. Some is amazingly tasty and some is totally forgettable. The Lobster ravioli is delicious, and over priced for the portion. I think it’s about $ 30 and you get maybe 4 actual lobster stuff raviolis. Maybe a couple extra filler ones too. Their signature kabobs are again tasty, but overpriced. Salmon and walleye are delicious. Not overly over priced, but, still, for how much you’re getting, there isn’t a reason you need to break the $ 25 mark. Appetizers are appetizing, and irritatingly small sized/​over priced.
Lets just say there is a reason you get free bread, because every dish banks on you filling up on this and not the actual food.
Overall, I’d say use the groupon for the brunch buffet. You’ll get your moneys’ worth at least and get full. Otherwise, the price you’d pay for 2 for an app, drinks, and an entrée a piece will leave your stomach half full but your wallet really empty.

Sunday brunch is a zoo. We went on a really busy Sunday brunch. I think the food was good — it was buffet style. Service was disgusting. We sat down and it took 20 minutes for ANYONE came up to get our order. For refills, we had to go up to the bar and do it ourselves because the waitress didn’t bother bringing the drinks to us. I was so disappointed in the service! This was my first time and I can’t say that I’m dying to go back. There was only one server (i’m not even sure that he was a server — maybe busboy) who was attentive and apologetic because even he could see what a clusterf@$% it was! Not a fan

This place isn’t really a Greek restaurant. It used to be. These days, it’s a sterile suburban steak joint with a few Greek dishes that aren’t particularly memorable. Every time they change the menu, it gets less Greek. Now, I realize that many people love suburban steak joints, so if you love big cuts of steak and lamb and aren’t a fan of authentic, urban ethnic joints, this place may be for you. But if you want real Greek food, leave the burbs and go to It’s Greek to Me or Gardens of Salonica.

Amazing Sunday brunch! Makes sure to ask for David the bartender! Serves perfect drinks and suggests great new drinks and no matter how busy it is, he always checks in! Will be back for sure!

We had reservations for 5 at Santorini last week. I was craving Greek and wanted something different. Our waiter was really excellant!
For appetizers, our party ordered the Artichoke and Crab Dip (artichoke hearts and crab meat blended with garlic and cheese, served with pita bread) and the Flamed Saganaki. BOTH were really good but I wish we had more of the Saganaki. The portion seemed so small for the five us of!
Our party of five ordered various things, my husband ordered the lamb and beef moussaka (layers of eggplant, roasted potato and seasoned ground lamb and beef topped with creamy bechamel with greek tomato sauce and grated cheese) which he enjoyed. I ordered the lobster bisque soup with a side of oven roasted veggies. Very tasty!
Overall, the entire party was happy with the service and the food! I would definitely recommend to a family or friend!

It’s a pretty good place, considering it’s located in suburbs. I’ve only tried appetizers and happy hour items so far — descent selection. It’s tends to get crowded around 4pm during the week, but not too bad during lunch. I hear they host random international night events but I have yet to make it to one. It’s great to have additional options outside of the city.

Been to Santoni a few times, both in Eden Prairie and in its original location in St. Louis Park. We’ve always had a good experience and brunch was no exception. They have a really extensive brunch offering. It’s something like $ 20 a head, but keep an eye out for Groupons that can knock that down to $ 15 — a much more palatable price.
The buffet — with two separate lines– has a decent mix of standard brunch fare (waffles, bacon, sausages) and Greek specialties. Seriously, if you were really into salads, you would lose your mind here. Most of what I tried was good — nothing special, but good. The pastries and breads were all a little dry. Ice cream bar had a solid mix of toppings, although it might have benefited from a second flavor of ice cream.
Service is friendly and efficient. We really took our time and they didn’t seem to mind. The line can get a bit harried — especially if you have people that don’t understand the concept of a line and butt in just to get one thing. But it’s brunch so just sit back, relax and enjoy.

Worst service I have ever had. Our waiter comes over and never introduces himself and ask bluntly «are you thirsty». We ask if they have any seasonal drinks. He says «no» we order drink. He Brings our drink our drinks and then says that he has some other things to do and He’ll be back.
I asked if he has any special and he answers «no». This is how the entire meal went. In the end his tip reflected is lack of customers service.
The food was OK. In the Greek dish they definitely did not use fresh spinach. Which is a main ingredient in Greek cooking.

Came here for dinner because they are on the AA Rewards partner list. Ordered a NY Strip steak cooked medium (7oz) for $ 21 and side order of grilled asparagus for $ 6.
My steak was WAY over done (in addition to being really tiny for $ 21!) and sent it back. They brought a newly fired steak, this time done medium rare. I didn’t have the patience to wait for another so I ate it. Very underwhelming after all that effort. Asparagus just wasn’t bad. VERY disappointed for the price. Despite getting 5miles/​$ I won’t be back. I’ll walk 20 more feet to Ruby Tuesday’s (next door) and get much more and much better tasting steak.

Santorini cut melitzanosalata (babaghanoush) from its menu. Is this not a classic Greek app? Kinda a mind-​blowing move in my opinion.
The food was on the higher end of its inconsistency range on my most recent visit, a warm Friday evening.
I ordered a mezede sampler ($ 15) choosing the following 3 mezedes:
–Santorini Gyros — Well seasoned, thinly cut slices of some mystery meat (beef? lamb? combo?) with pita, onions, tomatoes. Very tasty, though visibly greasy.
–Goat Cheese Bruschetta — Not awful. I cannot pinpoint where this fell short, but it was lacking that «oopaa» factor.
–Seared Ahi Tuna — Sushi-​grade ahi tuna encrusted in sesame seeds on baby-​sized lavash (thin crispy white crackers) with a flavor spicy wasabi mayo and a sliver of avocado. Surprisingly delicious, though more reminiscent of sushi than any Greek food I’ve ever tried.
My boyfriend ordered the chicken kebab (can’t remember how it was listed on the menu). It was okay, really nothing out of the ordinary.
On this visit, we decided to dine al fresco on the expansive patio. Not one of the most classy patios. All drinks were served in plastic cups, even my St. Germain/​champagne cocktail. Total buzzkill. The crowd was rowdy and noisy. The cougars were on the prowl as were their male counterparts. Pretty good spot for people watching, not so much recommended for a romantic or otherwise intimate night out.
The service was also not outstanding, but I’ve certainly had worse. Our waitress was nice, but not my favorite. She initially took my order incorrectly. Mistakes happen. My real order was brought out very shortly following.
I continue to have mixed feelings about Santorini. But, one thing that always boosts the warm fuzzy feelings toward Santorini is that they seem to offer a never-​ending, or at least frequently recurring, Groupon deal. Food always taste much better half off!

I went for the buffet, found the Bloody Mary to be a pleasant surprise, and found the expansive patio and ambiance to be fabulous.
The Sunday buffet is simply obscene. From the great salad spread to the sliced meats and fresh fish and breakfast foods, you cannot find something for everyone. Oh, and did I mention the Greek food? Lamb stew? Gyro makings and moussaka? Yeah, it’s on the buffet and it’s all superb. Do yourself a favor — stop hesitating and go get your Greek on.

We were here once for brunch. It’s not worth the bill and drive. The menu on their website looks much better than what you’ll see on serving tables. On the Sunday we visited the restaurant, it was very busy. In each trip to the serving tables, I apologized to several people I «accidentally» jostled. And I heard equal number of «I’m sorry“s from people who gave me hefty shoves! Santorini looks to turn people into politely hostile fellows! I don’t know it was crowded because of all the coupons (Groupon, Social Living, etc) they had recently offered or it’s always like this.
Like other run-​of-​the-​mill brunch buffets, food here is both greasy and salty. But if you decide to try it (or like us, are here to meet friends), stick to the cold line. First of all, it’s less crowded and you don’t feel pushed and shoved. Secondly, the quality (unlike that of the hot line items) is at least acceptable. Some of the salads (Greek and Caesar salads, in particular) are good. Roasted leg of lamb and prime rib are jokes! They are put on the top of the list in the menu to fool you. The actual things are inedible.
Our server was very nice. But they’re understaffed and we didn’t see our server more than three times (two of which for taking and returning our cards). It’s horrible, because they don’t have a beverage table and you’re relied on your server to refill your coffee or water.

We were finally able to get a reservation. I orginally called sometime back in December and they were pretty much booked every weekend, so I hopped on line and was able to make one through Opentable.
This place is a hike, so I’m not entirely sure I would make the drive back for brunch alone.
The brunch itself is quite a nice spread of food diversity.

there was some more stuff: belgian waffles, fruit etc.

I thought the cold salads were really good. The hot stuff for me was average brunch fare. The gyro meat stood out for J.
Glad we had the Groupon deal because without-​the price, the amount of gas to get out there; just not sure it would be worth it. The bottomless drink charge I’m not a fan of either. You automatically get charged with the brunch.
The majority of the time we stick with water– so that charge sucks. Plus we don’t drink so all the bottomless stuff was alcoholic. Don’t drink cofee and wasn’t in the mood for ice tea which were the choices.
Service was excellent by the hostess and our server.
The place is quite large and the outside looks like it would be nice to dine outside once it gets warm out. Just wish it were closer.
Not quite a fan of the place, but overall I give it a 4.

Service was really nice. I am a total service person. They greeted us many times as someone found us an open table. It was a Sat night and they had a band playing at the bar. We ate in the restaurant. Had something really good… ummm a salad with shrimp and the bread and butter yum! Sister had a lobster ravioli– was good. I had some of the lobster. Wasn’t cheap w/​the lobster which I liked
Ordered a bottle of wine– semi reasonably priced.
Had a great server who was attentive and had attentive assistants when she wasn’t around. Had everything we needed.
Moved on over to the bar. Danced til close. Had a brandy alexander. Tasty. Sister had wine– seemed to enjoy her wine as well.
Will come again when I visit!
Oh, forgot, the bathrooms. Very nice. I like a nice bathroom

We headed to Santorini for an early Valentine’s Day dinner on Saturday night. My first issue, which happens a lot on busy nights is setting 2 people at a small two top table. I HATE this and think small tables should be outlawed at restaurants.
We started off with a saganaki, which was fine. It was my first so I’m not sure what to expect. It tasted like toasted cheese which is a-​ok with me. The waitress wasn’t so much into the «Opa!» though, which is disappointing.
We each got the Greek salad, which was good but it didn’t seem very Greek to me — more like a garden salad. I liked it enough and thought it was a good salad for $ 3. My absolute FAVORITE Greek salad is at the Shorewood (which I believe might be run by the same family? Cousins at least?) so it was a small let down.
I ordered a shirmp dish (from the seafood portion of the menu) and it came with FOUR measly shrimp on angel hair pasta with a tasteless tomato sauce (I had envisioned chunks of tomato, and, ya know, more than 4 shrimp) and some feta. It was pretty bland and boring. The best part of the dish were the sauteeed veggies on the side.
My BF ordered the fish special. He gave me a bite saying «The middle is cold» — I think it was actually RAW (and no, this was not a fish you would serve rare like tuna). Bleh. If it hadn’t been half gone I would have suggested sending it back. His fish was served with a piece of spanakopita which was SUPER rich and delicious. I’m not sure if I could eat a meal based on the filo, but, it was a great side.
All in all I was pretty disappointed with the meal. It was easily a $ 100 night (rare for us) and to not even be able to say it was ‘good’ is a big let down. (and such an established restaurant!)
The best part of the meal was the fresh bread dipped in olive oil. Glad I filled up on that!

There must be a trend in Minnesota for restaurants to have good food but lousy service. Last Saturday I was craving some Moussaka and headed to Santorini. I love their Sunday brunch, and so I figured off the menu would be good.
It wasn’t. Not only was the food so-​so, but our server, Toni, must not have had a sense of urgency. Every table in her section had to wait for something. Menu, drinks, food, the bill.
I’ll give the outdoor patio brunch one more try, but Santorini of days gone by was better.
