All About Nails

I used to love coming here, and even referred a friend and now shes hooked. Unfortunately, last time I went, I had an appointment for Friday at 5, and when I get there, it seems like the person I have booked the appointment with was JUST starting on someone. I had asked if it would take a while and was told 30 more mins. Well I asked to get my nails soaked off, and the owner started doing it, but stopped halfway through. Once 5:30 hit, the owner insisted I come back another day, or do a manicure or get a pedicure, as Amy was really busy (this is probably because I saw someone else walking in, and probably waiting for her). I was very upset, finished taking off my gel on my own and didn’t come back. and honestly I don’t think I will. I’ve been a loyal customer and stuff like that gets me very upset

Tried All About Nails for the first time tonight. The staff was very friendly. The mani/​pedi was great.

All About Nails is the ONLY place go for pedicures. The entire staff is amazing and their services are impeccable. They are very thorough and the scrub, massage, stone massage and hot wax make you feel like you are at a retreat. Truly an oasis!

I’ve been coming here for over a year. I like the way they do my nails and pedicure and the cleanness of the nail salon. Mina and Stella are great, and Amy is very good at doing gel manicures. at first, walk ins were accepted but lately Sara seems a little annoyed if you walk in without an appointment. This past weekend my husband and I had appointments for our pedicure, we unfortunately didn’t have a babysitter so we had to bring our daughter with us. She was in her stroller and calmly watching Elmo. When I went to do my manicure, she became a little cranky so I carried her. Claire one of the manicurists was a little upset and asked me to wait until after my husband was done and could take my child. I was a bit insulted by that, because although I was carrying her she wasn’t speaking or crying. I said I would be leaving if that was the case, and considering that another customer had left c of the waiting time, she didn’t want me to leave. I’m very insulted by this and am considering finding a new place to do my nails. If they aren’t happy with children being present, they should let their customers know.

If you’re looking for a pedi/​foot rub where they take their time, pay attention to details, and help you relax, All About Nails in Edgewater is THE place for you. The place is nice and clean with a soft feminine color palette and flowers in little pots.
A word of warning — the place gets REALLY busy. I always make sure to call first and get an appointment with Mina because she gives my feet a good cleaning. When I first met her she seemed a little off putting, but once you get past her intimidating façade, she’s actually really sweet.
I took off one star because they do get busy with a long wait, sometimes even after I make an appointment ahead of time.

Best pedicure I’ve ever gotten and they take you right away they’re the best place in Edgewater hands down.

I started coming here regularly in July and saw Mena. She is really amazing and does a great manicure and pedicure.
A few weeks ago, due to frequent business travel I decided to do gel manicure. Mena doesn’t do gel manicure so the owner suggested I go to Amy who apparently does a great gel manicure.
She is incredibly rude and only is nice to certain customers who she seems worthy. Not only was she aggressive while handling my nails /​hands, she had a bad attitude and I gave her a good tip too.
I decided to try again because maybe the tip had made her happy and she was just having a bad day. I made an appointment so I wouldn’t have to wait. Sure enough she was working on someone else and the owner started my nail process. As time passes I realized she would be another hour and the owner finished my nails. She did an awful job and within 2 days, the gels chipped. Not only do they not honor gel appointments here, they are nice to who they chose.
It’s a shame that I won’t come back her because Mena is great but I won’t give my money to a business owner /​staff that don’t respect clients.
Go somewhere else where they treat clients with respect!

I normally go to Floris in West New York, but after two of my nail girls unexpectedly left in a year, I decided to try a new salon. I made an appointment with Elly for a uv gel fill in and gel polish. The shape of my nails is ballet slipper/​coffin and I was really nervous going to someone that I’ve never been to before, not knowing if they knew how to properly do the shape. Not only did the shape come out great, it’s the best polish job I’ve had since moving to the area. I’ll definitely be going back!!!

After months of searching for a clean and good quality nail salon. I’ve finally found my go to place. I loved Annie she has such a great personality and you can tell she knows what she’s doing the moment you sit in the chair. She’s very gentle –I didn’t even flinch once with she filed or buffed my nails. This was my first appointment and I’ve already made my two week appointment. I will be returning to this nail salon.

I would give 5 stars, the mani-​pedi was amazing! The color selection is great and everyone is very nice. The place is clean and sanitary. The reason I took off one star is because I’m a little concerned as to how the workers are treated. Though the owner was very very nice, there was a bit of a spat between her and the employees around closing time. I think their shift was over and she was fussing at them to do certain things that caused them to stay later. Now I’m not claiming to know the details but what I realized is that the owner (s) allowed late customers in, myself included. I am greatful they took me however I was unaware at the time that I was going to be a late customer. I think that if you are going to allow late customers then clean up is on you, and you have to let the girls leave when their shifts are over. I felt bad for the girls as they had to remind the owner of how late it was. Judging from the way it all went down it’s apparent that they don’t get paid past a certain time and have rides waiting or buses to catch.
Other than that I am excited about this place and will be back. I just hope there is a workplace quality improvement for the girls that work there. Good help is hard to find and these ladies are great!

I love this place! The service is amazing and the pedicures are the best!!! I love the massages they give and the hot stones during pedicure are the best! $ 20.00 and top notch service!!! And open Sundays you can’t beat that!!!

Literally the best pedicure I’ve ever had! My sisters recommended this place to me, and while it is a bit of a drive from home, it was totally worth it.
1) I don’t get pedicures too often, but they make me wanna get it done all the time now! In addition to the usual pedi care kind of stuff (nail cut, filing, cleaning, scrubbing, etc), they also massage your legs and feet, use hot stones, and heel-​specific care. The chair is also a massage chair so while someone is massaging your feet and legs, I also got a full back massage. AWESOME. So relaxing.
2) Incredibly clean place! I saw the woman open a package of pedi tools, so I think they use disposable never been used sets each time. I even watched the other women cleaning and scrubbing every inch of the place from the countertops and equipment down to the wheels of the customer chairs.
3) All the women are super nice and friendly. It was raining that day and one of the women even offered to walk me to my car so she can hold the umbrella over me.
4) And all this for a $ 20! My feet look great, I left so relaxed and happy, and could not have asked for a better deal than that.
Can’t wait to go back already!

they lost my trust forever. In the spring, i decided to take off my gel nails after many many years to give my nails a breather. when I went back this fall, I had only been back once before for color nail gel. I had been very busy. … however, I was on the fence and was thinking of getting my nails back with nail gel. However, on this day, I still wanted to wait and I did not tell them I wanted nail gels again. I said I wanted gel COLOR. so I was very busy with work and just over bronchitis. She started working on my nails while I did work on my phone on the other hand. when I looked down. I saw she was applying nail gel and not color gel. I told her I wanted COLOR only. she kept applying saying it was gel. Of course it’s gel … and she knew I was no longer getting nail gel. as I sat there a bit flabbergasted that I was being ignored, I thought, «well, this is what I eventually wanted anyway.» … but it wasn’t the right time with my busy schedule. so I said to her, «so now I HAVE to come back every three weeks, huh?» she didn’t reply. well, I have gel nails again, but I lost my trust in this salon. I will go to Nail Bar in Hoboken to get my fillings where they are professional & respectful. I will never return to All about Nails again.

Had a pedicure from Micky. She did a great job especially on the big toes which are challenging. The place is clean, lots of color choices, and a good price. They include a scrub, hot stone massage and a paraffin wax on the heals for $ 20. Not bad! They also give you a frequent visit card. 10 services and you receive a free mani.

Got my first mani/​pedi here this weekend and it was one of the best pedis I’ve ever gotten. Letty gave me an amazing massage with my pedi including hot stone, wax for my heels, and oil for my legs. All for $ 20! Maria did my mani and my mom’s mani– she did an amazing job on both. We were very satisfied. The salon is clean and staff is very friendly. Be warned that it gets very busy on Saturday!

I stop here for my Manicure and pedicure and was the best choice ! They have an special for 30 dollars that includes everything great deal ! Recommend Maria 100% she is very dedicate it and go in details with your nails! Very good experience ! Thank you !!

Clean and roomy. You can’t beat the $ 30 mani-​pedi special. Great hand foot and shoulder massage included plus callous softening for heels. Ask for Marina if making appointment.

I stopped in here for some quality time with my mother in law. We both got pedicures, while she went for a regular manicure and I decided on color gel.
First off, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the salon and their extensive collection of new Essie nail colors. They also carried a wide range of OPI colors as well as a few Zoya colors (which made my vegan MIL happy).
The pedicures were wonderful. In addition to basic pedicure services they also do a parrafin heel wrap and a hot stone massage.
I’ve been to a few different salons for color gel, and I think I’ve finally found my go to place. Sadly, I’ve forgotton my manicurists’ name, but she did a great job. She took her time to smooth my nails thoroughly and was very careful about applying the polish.
I’d defintely come back here again. I think MIL and I may even do monthly mani/​pedi dates.

DO NOT GO HERE! They rush and do a bad job. I went here for a waxing job and the lady bruised and burned me. I will never go back!
