Love this little studio. It’s my favorite in Denver. I only wish I had time to make it to class more often.

Great vinyasa classes both here and downtown. Definitely my favorite yoga studio in denver and I’ve tried a lot. Only con for me is I wish the yoga was a little more heated especially since wintertime is so cold there. Overall awesome place and great location!

I’m updating just a few months after the original because the fantastic people at QiFlow have changed things up. I guess they worried we were getting bored with all normal level of sweating we were doing and wanted to kick it up a notch. They kept my favorites and added some new classes to challenge us. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!
Let me tell you about Knockout with Kylie, which is offered at this location on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Kylie is one of those… really friendly upbeat people you would like to hate, but you can’t because she’s so upbeat and friendly (and helpful). She really makes you think you can do it. And you can. It just won’t look as good as when she does it. :) But there’s a reason she looks like that, right? Punches, lunges, jump rope, burpees, mountain climbers, cherry picking, floor wiping (plank with the toes on a blanket and drag the toes toward your hands),… you WILL be tired after this class. And drenched in sweat. DRENCHED.
I appreciate that there’s still restorative yoga (aka adult nap time) on Monday evenings. I wish it were offered more often!

Anyone else think yoga is just fancy stretching? If so, I challenge you to try some classes at QiFlow! There are classes that are a bit more strenuous (like yoga sculpt) but the regular vinyasa yoga classes at QiFlow are not anything to sneeze at. You’ll be surprised at the strength and flexibility you’ll need to keep up with the poses.
EVERY instructor I’ve taken classes from have been excellent at explaining and demonstrating poses, as well as offering modifications to those of us for whom the pose is not available (what? what? I can’t twist my body into that pretzel position!). I also enjoy the variety of the yoga classes offered at this location. «Regular”/vinyasa yoga, «water”/restorative yoga, and beginner’s yoga. I leave feeling like I’ve gotten a pretty good all over work out.
QiFlow has helped me get off the couch and into the gym. This will sound cheesy, but it’s not just a «gym.» It’s a community.
ETA: Look for the barre classes if you want a really challenging lower body (butt, thighs, calves) workout. If you don’t leave with quivering thighs, you don’t need to go to the gym.

This is the yoga-​only branch of the Qi family in Edgewater. As such, it is limited in what it offers, but as far as yoga goes it’s pretty hard-​to-​beat, at least for me:
1. There is plenty of free parking
2. It is a newly-​remodeled, clean, bright location
3. As with Qi in general, the instructors are very, very good
More on #3– I’m not a yoga guy, but i’m trying to mix more of it into my regimen for a pseudo-​recovery day and to build strength and flexibilty. As such, I was very intimidated going to my first yoga class, at Qi. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that, like Qi’s other class offerings, their yoga classes are very newbie-​friendly and supportive, and not too crunchy.
Especially if you’re a new or novice yoga person like me, I highly recommend yoga at Qi.

In the last year or so I’ve explored several small independent yoga studios and I have pretty much landed at Qi in Edgewater as my home.
Qi has so many things going for it!
First…their monthly membership prices can’t be beat. $ 60 a month for unlimited classes at this only studio is a STEAL in the yoga world. Especially at a studio as fabulous as this!
Two…multiple studios. I only go to Edgewater but if you are DT or near one of their other studios its always nice to have options.
Three…convenient classes. They do have a free community yoga 2 mornings a week. The one star reduction is because I wish they had more morning classes. Four… the teachers and the community. The teachers are awesome. The classes vary every day. They are generally flow style classes which I love. I also like that they bring a bit of the spiritual side of yoga to every class. A lot of studios skip that element of yoga which bums me out. The teachers are hands on, will give you a mini massage in restorative poses, give you adjustments, call you out by name when you’ve made a nice adjustment or have nailed a pose. The classes are designed to be accessable to everyone… beginners will get individual instruction so they learn to do the poses correctly and advanced yogi’s will be challenged and offerered variations.
The space is comfortable, parking is easy, there is a shower and a nice bathroom if you need to freshen up. If you end up in the back row though you’ll probably hear or feel the furnace or something kick in during the middle of class .I find it distracting and move to the front, where it’s not an issue. The classes are small enough that you get one on one attention and have plenty of space for your mat without having to arrive 20 minutes early. They don’t charge to use one of their mats.
If you’re looking for a studio or thinking about giving yoga a try, Qi is worth a drop in!

I purchased a Groupon and subsequently a membership to Qi because of the great staff, atmosphere, classes and clientele: the quad-​fecta of awesome.
The only thing is that each class at Qi (I can only speak for yoga since those are the only classes j have taken) can have a totally different culture… Which is great, but if you only attend a small sampling of classes, it is easy to dismiss the gym entirely. I’d suggest that if you’re doing your free week or just starting to it check out, try a few different instructors in order to find your fit. You won’t leave dissatisfied.

I have to say that though my initial atttraction to Qi was the cycle yoga classes that aren’t provided at this location, it’s this tiny one-​room Edgewater studio that tipped me over the edge to purchase an annual membership. I’ve discovered after silencing a litany of long-​held but weak excuses that I can make it to the 6pm weeknight classes with a little rushing from work and decent luck with bus timing. While using my Groupon month, I tried going almost every single night just to see if I could make a real habit of it. And I was totally sucked in. Entering the dimly lit, warmed oasis of a studio on a cold day is such a calming, soothing, great way to make that mental change from work to free time. I love being able to get back home around 7ish to still be able to cook dinner and enjoy the rest of the night. It’s not a big disturbance to my schedule because the location is just a few blocks from me. I’ve tried a bunch of the instructors and really love all of them. Class sizes are never too full or crowded, and during the day or early afternoon they can be really small, which has been educational for me with the extra attention available. Each class varies so much in style and speed, as does the music, I can’t imagine ever getting bored — and that was always my gripe with yoga! But that was the type of yoga at Gold’s Gym and 24-​Hr Fitness… not Qi. This little studio is what makes me a believer of a daily yoga practice and the benefits it can bring. Some classes have a fast-​paced flow, some are very grounding, some play with inversions and arm/​head balances and stands and splits, some play hip hop, some play nature sounds, some meditate, some use blankets and bolsters, some use hand weights, some I have fallen on my head, some make me sweat so much I slip all over the mat both hands and feet, but they are all a unique challenge and a blast and to be honest, I’ve never felt better physically or mentally. I learn something new every single class — be it a new pose, a new adjustment, a new attitude or positive thought to leave class with. There is no competitive vibe, in fact often the instructors invite people to introduce each other to those sitting around you which is nice in such an intimate setting. I’ve never felt embarrassed or intimidated in spite of being surrounded by a lot of very talented, fit and flexible yogis. The staff are all super helpful in person or via email with any question I’ve had or scheduling help. Even my husband has enjoyed a few classes here. While I will still go downtown for a cycle class or two per week, this coming year I’m most looking forward to my regular evening hour of yoga in Edgewater.

I usually go to the Qi downtown because they offer spin-​yoga/​barre/​sculpt but this studio is adorable for intense yoga!

I really enjoyed this little yoga studio. My husband & I went here for willpower & grace Yoga class with my friend, Hans, and really got a workout! It was such a good workout that we left very sweaty, rejuvenated and felt good doing a cardio workout. The drive wasn’t too bad for us since we live in Denver by the Tamarac mall & made the 7pm class. I loved the instructor, Kylie, she was amazing, very friendly and she made us feel very comfortable. And Kylie sure knows how to make us work out our buttocks & core!

Qi, or CHI yoga.
These guys must be doing something right! I used to live in City Park and would go there from time to time. I’m happy there is one kind of close to me on the NW side of town. I am moving further and further away from those «other» corporate places in town and supporting the local guys. I mean you won’t see CPY giving away an entire free month of yoga for January.
So far I have only checked out the flow classes, it was a bit tough for me after not having gone for almost a month. I’m pretty sore today and going to hit another flow class this evening. This studio is small, and there is one bathroom to change but that’s it. I love this homey quaint feel you get when you come here.

Qi (pronounced «Chi») Yoga is a little gem in Edgewater. I have been practicing off and on for a few years, and I normally go to the big name studio in town, but I have really enjoyed the classes I’ve taken so far at Qi. The space is happy and has a good vibe. It doesn’t feel corporate, and it wasn’t crowded the couple of times I’ve taken a class. I’ve been informed that they are adding CHILD CARE at the downtown studio which will probably sway me forever to Qi over the big competitor. I don’t know why no yoga studio in Denver has figured out that working moms need yoga too. In fact, I can’t imagine who else would need yoga MORE than moms of little kids who also bring home the bacon! Add childcare to your weekend and evening classes, and you’ll have many members for life!
Next up: I’m trying the Downtown studio!
Tips: Parking in Edgewater is no problem. Qi offers yoga mats for free, but doesn’t seem to sell bottled water (not a complaint at all). You can fill up your water bottle at the water cooler. They offer online reservations and online payment.

I’ve been doing yoga at Qi and with some of the instructors for 4 years. All of the teachers are excellend and I was super excited for them to open a studio in my neighborhood. All of the instructors are not only great teachers but they are great people and I never go to a class I don’t enjoy (and I would consider myself a very selective yogi). I have been to several studios in Denver and Qi is by far my favorite. This location is small and intimate and is a great place to start or continue your practice to a really high level. Doesn’t get better!

I love this little yoga studio. I went here for Groove Yoga with my friend Lauren and really got my groove on! It was a good workout and we left sweaty and rejuvenated. The great location can’t be beat. I also love the fact that I can sign up for class online which is super convenient and guarantees a spot for me. Their class sizes are small which makes me feel very comfortable. Namaste!

Fantastic! I am a yoga newbie and I tried «Groove Yoga» here as a drop in. It was super fun and challenging, and the instructor Megan was very nice to offer alternate poses for those of us who can’t yet stand on our heads. She offered a helping hand for stability as well for some of the tougher balances which I greatly appreciated. Great underground hip-​hop and a muscle tightening work out, I can’t wait to see what the other classes have to offer!
Super location, because let’s face it, we don’t always want to have to drive downtown. Parking here is easy which is a plus as well.

Finally, a yoga studio in Edgewater! This is the newest Qi Yoga Studio to open and they must be doing something right as I have been back numerous times.
Here is why a girl with a current 24 Hour membership paid for a four month membership to Qi Yoga:
— The instructors that I have had in the last two weeks since it opened are phenomenal. They are patient, kind and are extremely open to suggestions and feedback
— The studio is intimate and relaxing. You do not have to worry about trying to find a spot amongst 40 people crammed into a tiny little room
— Four months of unlimited yoga for $ 150??? You cannot beat that no matter what your current gym offers
— The yoga practice feels genuine. Often times you’ll get a cookie-​cutter class that someone got online somewhere… not at Qi, the instructors change up the routines all the time, allowing for new poses while still building muscle memory
Here is why I am not sure if I will renew after the summer membership is over:
— Four months of unlimited yoga for $ 150…after paying that I doubt I can start paying $ 90 for a month of yoga, hopefully they’ll have a winter deal
— The studio is small. This is a positive and a negative. If word gets out about this place, and I have a feeling it will, I just might be fighting with 40 other people for a spot in the studio… which is exactly the reason I don’t take yoga at 24 Hour
— The HVAC system seems to be a bit off. The reason I mention this is because there is a dispensary next door. The last thing I want to smell while doing yoga is weed. But that might just be me.
All in all, I love this little studio and I am so glad that it came to Edgewater. I am a bit sad that they don’t have the spin-​yoga classes here as I have heard that they rock, but who knows, maybe they can buy out the dispensary and expand the studio!
Why the four stars? I have been to a few classes where it seems like they haven’t cleaned the floors. Not a huge deal, but when you’re trying to relax while laying on the floor, having small gravel pieces under your mat doesn’t really help to set the mood.
