They have good subs. Seem to always be busy. I’m here trying the crab cakes for the first time. Will let you know what I think later.

Great pizza. Really fresh dough and best ingredients in Edgewood but the most expensive. Only place around where you can get shrimp on your pizza or order a tasty shrimp scampi pizza! Also excellent at this place is their heavenly shrimp salad sub. But I’m not a fan of their very popular cheese steak sub. You get a huge pile of steak but it is heavily marinated that overpowers the taste of the steak probably to hide inferior steak. Zorba’s in Edgewood does this also. .

We were avoiding an accident on 95, driving down 40, when we pulled into this strip mall to feed my very hungry husband. To be honest, I pulled in because in the dark I thought it was an Applebee’s! Luckily, it happened to be Gus’ pizza instead. Really REALLY luckily. We ordered the everything pizza and a small cup of cream of crab soup. I didn’t realize until later that the menu warns that it just might be the best cream of crab soup you’ve ever tasted. I wish I had seen that sooner, because now the best cream of crab soup I’ve ever tasted is 70 miles from home. My husband doesn’t even like soup and he thought it was amazing. AMAZING. Service was great — really, really friendly. And they have a very interesting system for ordering from your table! They have phones at each table for you to just speak with them at the register directly. The pizza was pretty good, but unfortunately not necessarily spectacular. At the same time, I can’t think of a place on this coast that I would prefer eating pizza from(my heart belongs to Roundtable). I do want to try their other pizzas(the guy behind the counter had suggested the crab dip) but — I’ll have to wait until the next time I’m 70 miles from home…
