After starting a small HVAC service and installation company on Route 40 in Joppa, Maryland in 1993, owners Manuel Gomes, Jr., Phillip Hobbs and James Hobbs, Jr. have grown HGH Mechanical, Inc. into one of northern Maryland’s most trusted heating and air conditioning contractors, also providing expert installation of gas lines and gas fireplaces. Do not use this company. They came out to our house several times to install HVAC in our new addition. The first few visits they left their trash everywhere and did not clean anything up when they were finished. Coffee cups and trash left in the driveway and in the room they were working on. Trash left outside next to the unit they installed. I thought that was bad until today when I returned home (8 ½ months pregnant) and found that they had been smoking in the room that they were working on. This is the room that will be our new master bedroom and the room that we will be sleeping in when our new baby arrives in a few weeks. Worst customer service ever.
