Cleenrite Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Service was started in 1975 by Jim Click and Bob Click and was originally called Click Brothers Cleaning Service. Later Jim changed the name to Cleenrite. In 1995 the company was bought by Jim’s nephew Jay Click and he has owned it to this day. Now I (Jay Click) will tell you this; when I took my first certification class all the things I had learned from my uncles were very similar to what they were teaching me in class. Although they were not certified they had done enough reading and research to be up to par with their carpet cleaning peers. This was two guys in their 70’s with no internet. But they knew what magazines to read and had good people at their supply house who kept them ahead of the trends.

We continue that tradition by using the modern methods of cleaning now at our disposal. We us the IICRC rulings as our standard of learning and our standard of cleaning. History

Established in 1975.

Started in Woodstock, Virginia by James and Robert Click. Then it was called Click Brothers Cleaning Service. The business was bought by their nephew John Click in 1995. John is an IICRC certified tech in Carpet, Upholstery and Rug Cleaning. Also Certified in Odor Control and Carpet Color Repair.
