My new favorite restaurant. Great food at great prices. My mouth was watering as I read the menu. It was difficult to decide. I got the grilled chicken panini with fresh mozzarella and roasted red peppers. It came with a pasta salad. All for 7.99. Nice portion size. Although I was full, I couldn’t stop until I finished it all.

When I am in Edison for business, I make a point to stop at Deserio’s. It’s more than just great pizza. You can have panini, wraps, even well prepared entrees and breakfast. The place is very clean, service is quick and friendly and the owners John and Joe take pride in what they serve. Prices are great for the quality you get.

Came in for a well deserved lunch. The options for different slices of pizza were endless. This place will cure any case of the Mondays you have.

I stopped in on the recommendation of my supervisor. I could not have been more surprised! The selection of food is amazing! The atmosphere is charming and upscale without being pretentious. The owner went out of her way to make sure I was happy and comfortable. After a quick chat we discovered that the neighborhood that I live in is where she grew up and raised her family. The food is delicious and very well priced. If you are in the area, you must stop by!

I live and work in Bergen and being in the Industrial Real Estate Brokerage business, I eat Italian Food and Pizza throughout the State of NJ. When I am nearexit 10– of the NJ Turnpike an I need some very good and quick Italian Food or Great Pizza, this is the best place that I have found that has the Ny Flavors at Nj prices. This is my go to 12 – 5:00 lunch or Italian«nosh» place in Central NJ.

Food is horrible and overpriced, but basically the only option in the Raritan loop. Mushy pasta, everything bland. Pizza is horrible. Get a sandwich because that’s about the only thing they can’t screw up. No wifi.

Food is okay, service is not all that friendly, walked in for breakfast and a cup of cappuccino and was told by an employee«I’m not making cappuchinos’ today order something else». In my head I thought, Okay that was awkward and as I attempted to place my order the employee kept interrupting me to tend to another task. Needless to say to I’m not going back to this place. I’m guessing I sound a bit picky and my experience may be the exception, but this place did give me a great excuse to brown bag my Breakfast and Lunch :)

I will never understand an Italian place that uses canned and frozen vegetables. It’s just laziness. Fresh produce is cheaper and tastes mountains better. Canned mushrooms??? Frozen vegetables??? Pathetic. I work in Raritan Center and my work orders from here every time we have a big meeting. Hundreds of dollars, several times a month. I finally convinced them to stop ordering from here. It’s just ridiculous that they can’t use fresh food.

The food is bland and doesn’t really make any sense. The pasta salad is penne mixed with canned veggie mix(the standard overcooked carrots, peas, and green beans). It isn’t bound together by anything and is nearly tasteless. Definitely not really a pasta salad. Their idea of a fajita wrap is extruded chicken pieces mixed with a vaguely southwestern tasting chili in a wrap. No fresh veggies or any real redeeming qualities. Definitly nothing resembling a fajita. Their paninis(at least the one I’ve tried) are over stuffed, so they don’t stay together. There isn’t nearly enough cheese and it isn’t melted enough to offer any structural integrity to the sandwich. The chicken on the one I tried was extremely dry. Their fries are soggy and cold by the time it takes me to drive back to my office(maybe 5 min) which points to them being left out too long or not fresh to begin with. They have a captive audience in the Raritan Center, which I imagine is the only reason they have any business whatsoever. Everything is totally bland and pretty bad. Go somewhere else.

I work right around the corner so I come here for lunch often. I love their wraps and I like that you get pasta salad with them instead of French Fries. I also like that they serve big portions. I can buy one meal, put the leftover in the office fridge, and have lunch for the next day. The ordering system is a little confusing. I think I took someone else’s spicy chicken wrap today.(Sorry!) I usually try to get there by 11:50 for lunch otherwise it’s really chaotic. But overall they keep me coming back!

Love this place, the food is great but honestly I cannot deal with the service. No set lines for food, no organization. You basically have to grab someone to order from and hope the cashier does you the honor of taking money. I have gone from going 2 – 3 times a week when it was Pizza and pasta to once a month now that they have merged with the diner. I never went to the diner for the above reason.

The most disorganized restaurant I’ve ever seen. They have a near monopoly on quick(sort of) food for a huge industrial park. Food is OK, certainly overpriced, but it’s the disorganization that continues to baffle. You have about 15 people«working» there but most of them are standing around behind the sandwich bar, the pizza area, the counter — but they only have two stations(one generally unoccupied) which specfify«Place Orders Here.» So predictably(especially at lunchtime) there is a throng of people in that line and it can take a good 15 minutes to get to place your order. And it’s in a frickin’ corner, so it means the corner is clogged; sometimes after placing your order you have to elbow your way out through the throngs. Even more maddening, is that some people have figured out that you can cut the line by going to the pizza or deli counter and ordering there — but they still have to get to the one«Place Orders Here» station to pay, cutting in line in front of all the people who are actually following the rules and placing orders. There are a half-dozen ways to do it better. I can’t imagine a way of making the organization worse. Do yourself a favor … have them deliver. Or call ahead and pick up at the«pick up» counter. But don’t go there to eat. You’ll tear your hair out.

Once again I gave this place a chance. ordered an Albacore tuna wrap 45 minutes prior to getting there to eat with my friends. I get there, its not ready.. .. .So I wait patiently as my friends begin to eat and I get my wrap when everyone is done eating. if you are eating something that they warm up then you will be fine but if you order something that they have to make.. . they are confused and unorganized.
