I love H&M in general but DO NOT GO TO THE H&M AT MENLO PARK!!! I keep going back and have no idea why because it’s always the same. The service is HORRIBLE and the line is always so long with a bunch of idiots standing around and one person checking people out. The people don’t even speak or look at you when you are checking out– not even to tell you your total. I am so annoyed that I went out of my way to find this specific store on Unilocal.Just drive to short hills!

An H&M with enough realistate to have both a full men’s and women’s department. Their clothes are hip while being inexpensive. The clothes on the rack target the junior high to high school crowds. The staff gets things done on the quick. The dressing rooms could use some straightening and fresh coat of paint.

My 2-​star rating is based on the filth in the store, messy racks, rude manager, and general staff inefficiency. Butttt the clothes are inexpensive considering the materials and stitching quality. Accessories are a hit or miss, and sell out really quickly! Returning something results in a three-​person process where the manager will sometimes sniff the item and stare at you like a depraved animal. When, oh when, will online shopping take over?!
