History

Established in 1869.

One of the oldest saloons in Washinton State, the Longhorn sits on the sight of the Edison Saloon built in 1869.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Born in Anacortes, Wa. Grew up on Samish Island. Graduated from Edison Grade School 1983, Burlington Edison High School 1987, and received an Applied Science Degree in Fluid Power from Spokane Community College in 1989. Work in the fishing industry for Rapp Hydema U.S., specilizing in computer automated deck machinery until 2000. Puchased and operate the Longhorn Saloon in Edison in 2000. Have a beautiful family, wife Julie, daughter Jensen, two dogs, and a cat. I love Skagit Valley and am proud to be a part of it. Oh yeah, we have two other businesses too, the Varsity Inn and Charles Fine Jewelry.
