Service is great and most importantly they couldn’t be any nicer. They make you feel like part of the family and treat every customer with such respect and genuine care. I keep using this establishment simply because of the customer service. Oil changes are quick too!

The best fluid and filter service place around. Eric is the owner and is a real nice guy. He and his staff explains the different types of oil and different quality of filters that are available. They treat you right and show you the old filters. I see some complaints about how long it took. If an oil change takes under 15 minutes somewhere you should beware! That means they are not doing everything they say they do. At Mobil 1 Lube Express it usually takes between 25 and 55 minutes, depending on what fluids are being changed. I never had anything but a great experience.

This is a great place to have oil-​change for my car. Why?

When we opened the car door Eric met us and took it from there. So easy, so nice and we are so happy to support a family-​run shop. We will definitely be regulars from now on.

How could you give a 1 star review to an oil change place? Well let’s see. First off good thing I wasnt in a rush to get my oil changed. Being 1 of 2 people in the place getting there cars oil changed. I waited 15 minutes before I was even asked what type of service I wanted. Knowing that the oil I prefer is alittle more expensive than standard grade oil I knew I was looking at about 70 bucks just for an oil change. But then when they tried to sell me an air filter even though I have a K&N filter in the car something struck a nerve. Did they even check the air filter? How about all the other things they say they check? Well needless to say I know why I do my own oil changes. After spending an hour getting a over priced oil change. I refused to go back in and ask them to vacuum the car like I paid for in the price. Never again.

Eric and Co. always look out for me. I will make the trip all the way from South River because they treat me like a special client, and appreciate how important my two vehicles are to myself and my significant other, the lovely Laura Marie! They always smile, the whole crew knows my name, and Eric is the kind of owner who «isn’t too busy» to share his years of sage wisdom in the car business with me when it comes to questions the gnarly car mechanic might just answer in a «called in» kind of way. A couple other small notes that showcase their attention to detail. The bathroom is always clean! And what’s more, if you need a bulb replaced, your tire pressure checked or your window washer fluid or motor oil topped off, they are more than happy to do it! Big thumbs up to Eric and the cool crew at the Mobil One in Edison… they’re my pals!

Friendly people. I wonder why coolant isn’t included as one of the fluids to top off. I was sort of surprised to see it was empty when I got home.
It wasn’t fast but that is because there were lot of people in front of me. Find some coupons online. I didn’t have any and it was $ 36.99 plus tax.

If you don’t go here… you deserve awful, slow and rude service!!!

Very fast service and they don’t try and rip you off. Best oil change place I have been to.

Because of my job, I get oil changes about every 5 – 6 weeks. This place is the fastest I’ve been too. Pep Boys up the street has made me wait an hour before they’ll even take my car in but Mobil is alway fast and easy.
The waiting room is clean and stocked with free water and coffee. The owner/​manager is also always very friendly and helpful. Now this is the only place I go for my oil changes!

Went here for the first time today. Nothing «express» about it. Was second in line and it took an hour for a simple oil change. Will not come here again.

Horrible, sleazy place. I went in yesterday to get my oil changed, as well as to get my tires inflated, because my tire pressure light had been on. I specifically asked them to inflate the tires to the correct pressure. They said they did. Well, needless to say, they were lying. When I got back into my car the light was still on, and it stayed on through my entire 10-​mile drive home. When I got home I checked my tires carefully, and though three of them were inflated properly, one was almost completely flat. So these people are either
(a) sleazy assholes, who simply lied to my face that they had checked the tire pressure, or
(b) sleazy assholes, who checked the tires, inflated three of them, and didn’t tell me the other was leaking (leading me to drive home on a nearly flat tire), or
© incompetent sleazy assholes, who checked the tires and tried to inflate them without realizing one of them had a serious leak.

I do a lot of driving for my business (100,000) miles a year so I get quite a few oil changes, I have been going here for a couple of years and have never had a problem, my service is done fast and professionally, overall they do a great job, and the people there are pleasant. .
will I keep going there? Definitely

I am a rather young looking girl who tends to come off as somewhat naïve. I have found that many mechanics think this means they can get quite bit of money out of me; however, I was lucky enough to grow up with a truck driver for a dad, and he taught be a fair amount about cars.
I went to this Mobil station almost immediately after picking up my car from a body shop because I had been hit by a semi on the highway. I wanted my car looked over by someone else, and it needed an oil change to boot. I explained this to them and they said they would give the car a full inspection.
Three mechanics came out at separate times carrying filters from my car as well as brand new filters still in packages. They wanted me to see how «dirty» my filters were. As if a white piece of cotton and paper wouldn’t get filthy inside a car in two seconds. They tried to get me to spend an extra 100 bucks on filters of all things!
Otherwise they said my car was fine. It didn’t feel fine to me, so I took it to another oil change/​mechanic/​inspection place. They put the car on the lift, pulled me in, and showed me the severe damage that was still left on my left front wheel. The thing looked like it had been bent in 45 degrees. It was cutting into my tire.
But according to this Mobil, the only problem with my car was several dirty filters.
