Each Once Upon A Child location is individually owned and operated by moms and dads like you, who understand money doesn’t grow on trees.

I’ve always been a big fan of recycling, saving money and ever since having my daughter, I love buying her cute kids stuff! I discovered Once Upon a Child a couple of years ago and fell in love as a customer, and thought it would be a fun business to run. Now here I am, operating my very own store, along with my family’s amazing support. We hope to see you in our shop real soon!

I am a Rutgers Business School grad and have always been involved in my family’s small businesses. When I became a mom and discovered Once Upon A Child at another location, it was love at first sight! I did my research, attended training and here I am. It’s a lot of work, but I love every second of it. Helping parents save money on their kids’ stuff that they outgrow so quickly and seeing the smiles on kids faces when they pick out a «new» toy is so rewarding! My crew and I hope to welcome you to our shop real soon!

Great selection of clothes and in great condition for pretty good prices. I bought a pj set, short set with top, a polo, jean shorts and jean jacket all for 26.50. I tried to sell back a like new cradle swing which retails for $ 160 and they only wanted to buy it for $ 18…I said no way and took it back home. so don’t think they’ll give you half what they will do is look for the lowest selling price online, cut that in half then cut that by 40% Great and friendly staff otherwise. Drove almost an hour because of the awesome reviews but now I know how their selling works and if I plan to come back I’ll go to the one a bit closer to me and just buy clothes if I need any.

Great for younger children (sizes over 12 months need a little work). Staff is always helpful and friendly. Follow them on Facebook and sign up for their email to get exclusive deals. Huge sales every couple of months. Great for strollers, activity tables, jumpers, swings and bouncers (always a big selection). Have yet to sell things.

The store has been pleasant, clean and well-organized.
We have been part of their loyalty program.
They have a great selection of affordable gently used clothes and toys, which look brand new.
We sold gently used and unused new baby clothes, an umbrella stroller, a booster seat and toys here. Some of our baby clothes are designer clothes, which were never worn or worn once.
Toys must have all their parts.
The staff was friendly and prompt. They paid us in cash after reviewing attentively our goods. The entire process only took thirty minutes.
It was easy and free to park.

Love, love, love, love, LOVE! I’ve never sold anything here, but I have purchased things. I’m currently expecting my first (due May 31) and I absolutely adore this place! You get great quality stuff for even more amazing prices. I’ve gotten clothes, toys, and even a Boppy from here. They have a great selection of items and the staff is super helpful and friendly.

Went to sell some items today and I was very happy with OUAC-Edison. I took equipment and clothes and they took a good amount of items. While they were buying my stuff, I browsed the store and they have really good deals. They have a lot of clothes! While I do think some tees and pants should be priced lower, the dresses are priced pretty low. They have a lot of brands of dresses that I love: Gap, Gymboree, Carter’s, Ralph Lauren, and many more. OUAC also has really low prices on toys. Lots of toys are under $ 10 and they come with all the pieces.
The employees there are also very nice. While I was there, I noticed how busy they get and they still helped me out. They were working non-stop trying to put out their recently received items. I definitely will be going back.
Also, if you’re in need of books, this place has great books for very low prices.

1^st and probably last experience I will have with this place. Greeted rudely when I came in with a large bag of clothes to sell to them. No direction on where to put the bag. After confirming where to put the bag that was filled with NAME BRAND (Justice, Gap, A&F, Nike, Calvin Klein and more all in size 7 – 8 and 10 – 12 mixed boys and girls). Was told it will be about ½ hour if I like to shop around. So went to see what the store offered in the sizes I was selling plus the next size up that I needed for my kids. To see that they were in need of the sizes I was trading in (was on the list of what they are looking to buy. confirmed). Their clothing was ok on pricing and condition, and shoes not even worth it. I am thrift store and goodwill shopper. I have found name brand clothes for cheaper than what this store offers. After about 20 mins. I went and checked on how sorting through my bag of clothes was coming. A whole 14 items for guess what $ 14.xx offered. An average dollar an item?! No offer for more money if buying more clothes from there store either. Sold the items only because I took the time out of my day to deal with it. At least have something to show for it. Bring the rest of the bag home and confirm many name brand labels still in the bag. I will continue to shop at my local goodwill rather than this thirft store.

Thrift stores are awesome, kids thrift stores with clothing items starting at a $ 1 and up are fantastic!
I dig sifting through other peoples junk. Whether it be yard sales, rummage, army & navy, flea markets or plain old vintage gear. Someone else’s junk is someone else’s treasure. And what better way to kill some time between appointments or errands.
This kid thrift shop has it all. Clothing, foot wear, furniture, toys, games, books and tons of other random items. Personally my kids out grow clothing in the same season and that can get $$$. I’ve found remarkable brand name & spanking new items at a fraction of the original cost. In most cases as long as the product doesn’t get destroyed we’ll resell it to another thrift shop or eBay lol. What a wonderful concept.
The store is quite large & organized well, with tons of goodies to look through. So come and get some serious saving for the little ones so you’ll have extra $ for Hooters.
