Quaker Steak & Lube

I ordered the burgers to go couple times and the burgers were amazing! However, when I got home, it was pretty disappointing they are very cheap with the portion of fries. If would’ve known, I would have ordered more, but burgers are a bit pricey to begin with.

I’m trying to understand how there are so many good reviews. This place is complete mediocre. I feel like it’s the kind of place you eat at when there are zero other options and you need food. I had the grilled chicken wrap with one of the BBQ sauces and baked beans. The wrap so so chewy and doughy which is just strange for a wrap. It was basically all shredded lettuce, celery, and carrots with about 9 chunks of grilled chicken. The BBQ sauce was so incredibly sweet that I could barely use it. The baked beans must have had a similar type of sauce because they were also super sweet and even gooey from the sugar/​syrup/​molasses or whatever it was. The ranch and blue cheese come in prepackaged containers and have essentially zero flavor. My friend got one of the burgers which he said was good but the fried were pretty awful. They have a lot of sauce flavors and we tried a few. The Thaisian was awesome but, again, very sweet. My friend and I both felt less than great later that night and the next day. I think the food is a lot of artificial junk (obviously, I get that it’s not home cooked) but we both felt off after eating there. Two stars because our waiter was very nice and attentive, the décor is cool, lots of TVs for sports, outdoor bar area, and I like crazy straws. I definitely won’t be back though. route 1 has too many good places to ever have to go back there again.

This was my first time in a long time not coming on Tuesday for the all you can eat option. 3 items were ordered as well as a dessert. The chipotle chicken quesadillas, pick-​up pickles, boned in wings with smoked jalapeño honey sauce and caramel apple nachos were ordered.
Chipotle Chicken Quesadillas — These quesadillas contained chicken, corn, black beans, cheddar-​jack cheese with a side of Pico de Gallo, sour cream, and guacamole. These were real good. They had a nice spice factor to them and the Pico de Gallo was very flavorful.
Pick-​Up Pickles — These were okay. They were fried pickles served with a cool Ranch. I rather have a pickle without the fried aspect.
Smoked Jalapeño Honey Wings — This was a new sauce so I wanted to give it a try. They were far too sweet. There was not really a taste of the smoked jalapeño that was advertised. The wings were very big with lots of meat.
Caramel Apple Nachos — These come for free when it’s one’s birthday and that person is signed up on their email list. These were great. It consisted of warm cinnamon apples with a Vanilla ice cream and warm caramel sauce served with cinnamon sugar crisps. The warmness of the apples with the smooth ice cream was unreal. The crisps made them that much better.

Not many places can top their wings! what a great place to go. The service is great the only downside is that they are not open later. They also offer military discount. The often change the menu, but it not just about the wings all of their food is pretty spectacular.

Lot of God wing flavors! Good beers on tap. Plenty of TV’ to catch any sports game. Oh and they give you a twizzler when you finish eating!

Was just here a little bit ago, and had some ribs as part of my meal. BEST RiBS IVE EVER HAD!!!

My wife and I went with friends for the first time last night. We all enjoyed it, the atmosphere, food and the 100oz lube tube of beer. My only small complaint was the appetizers came out the same time with the dinner, so when it was time to eat your dinner the food was cold. Otherwise we were pleased. We will go again in the near future

I’ve been here a few times now, in different moods and with different people. It’s hanging in there at a solid 3 stars for me.
Cons: Salads. I know what you’re thinking. What the heck are you doing, ordering a salad at a place like this? Buuuut… my friend wanted wings and I felt like being healthy. The salad was poooooor. Shredded thin pieces of lettuce, veggies were limp and partially FROZEN. Obviously kept in plastic baggies in a freezer. Basically… gross.
Another Con? It is always flippin’ freezing in there. Summer — too much AC. Winter — not enough heat? I don’t know. When I worked at a restaurant, the servers kept turning up the AC because they were hot from all the running around. Is that what’s going on? Not sure. I almost always have to keep my coat on in there.
Pros: Wings are great. Juicy, meaty, tender, flavorful. The different sauces are really good. I’ve tried a bunch of different ones and they’ve all been great. Tacos are also really good, if you’re not in the wing mood. Burgers, also solid.
Another Pro? Crazy straws. ’nuff said.
So… I guess the lesson is… don’t order salad at a place that has «BEST WINGS IN THE USA» stamped across the whole length of the building exterior.

This place is a chain but the atmosphere in here is awesome! Wings are okay for the price. I enjoy it for the atmosphere.

Just a terrible establishment. First they try to sit you near the bathroom on purpose. You basically need to interrogate the hostess before they tell you that there is 10% discount for sitting there. Needless to say I did not want the discount. This pretty much threw off my entire experience. Staff is either overwhelmed or bored because they don’t pay you any attention and when they do, they get things wrong. Asked for an IPA, got a summer shandy. I never stiff a server for tip, but I was tempted.

Don’t waste your time. The service is awful. Waited forever for appetizers. Entrees came out with them. Sent them back.
Took forever to a get a beer and was advised it would take longer to get a second one, as they had to change the tap.
Had wings and pretzels and left. Wanted to cut our losses and leave. Wings were good, pretzels were OK.
Wouldn’t go back on a dare. Too many better places close by.

Great wings and good beer always super cold … I love coming in the summer and sitting on the patio having a beer with my buddy’s.
Wait staff is always attentive and on top of their game!

I went to Quaker Steak & Lube during Super Bowl with a friend. I was excited to try it cause my friend likes the place. I definitely didn’t go to watch the game, so my focus was on the food. We ordered the following: nachos, ½ buffalo and ½ garlic boneless wings, 2 sides of mac and cheese, beer and lemonade. The food wasn’t bad, it was just okay. :/

I went there a few days ago for the Vikings game with a couple of friends and it was a good time.
At the time it was lunch so it wasn’t too crowded But our server Nicole was great. We were waited on when we got in and the service was very friendly and attentive.
The food was delicious I tried the grilled chicken wings and they delicious. The bendy straws were an awesome touch too and the twizzlers at the end made it the cherry on top.
I will definitely be back it’s well worth the trip.

Vile.
Dirty.
Bad.
Overpriced.
Artificial.
Disgusting.
Reprobate.

Best wings I have ever had. Love how they offer so many different flavors to choose from. Best flavors I’ve tried so far are Asian sesame and permesan garlic. I recently had the cheese steak but was highly disappointed due to the saltiness of it. Their fries are amazing! Def would come back for the wings and fries!

1 star because we asked if we could change the channel and they did, the service was great in the beginning, but after that we couldn’t find our server. And it wasn’t busy inside :(((((((
Sorry I couldn’t tell anyone the problem we were having because I was with my 2 year old that was hungry, getting tired and doesn’t have much patience to wait another 30 or so minutes. Plus we couldn’t find my server. :(((

Place was packed because their was a awesome car meet today thrown by NJ nissan infiniti (all different car makes were welcome) walked in, place is spacious. you had video games to the right, waiting chairs to the left… nice upside down nascar décor’ thaf i seen to the right of the room… someone helped me place my order… meal took about half a hour, their were plenty of people who ordered food to go ahead of me but hey i got to enjoy the nice cars outside .i mean 200+ cars… food was delicious… onion rings came with a salsa type sauce… the bbq wings i shared with my pitbull when i got home. hes so spoiled lol… mac n cheese burger… the BOMB! …would def go back!

Great atmosphere especially for a fan of car racing with all the stuff on the walls and hanging from the ceiling. Some pretty good food too.
We started with two kinds of wings: Thalasian and the Kentucky Bourbon Glaze. We agreed the wings were very good. For dinner I had something called the Slamwich that seems to be a southwest version of a Cuban Sandwich. I enjoyed it, as did my wife with her salad.
Our server was very pleasant and helpful but at one point maybe a little too enthusiastic. Our wings were long time in coming and I remarked to my wife to not be surprised if they try bringing out the entrees while we are still on the wings. Sure enough, they did and I asked her to take the food back until we were done with the wings. I then remarked to the Mrs. that she is going to do it again before we are finished and sure enough, she did. Not a horrible thing but come on… listen to what the customer is saying.
We will be back though.
