History
Established in 2006.
A progressive martial arts school started under the renowned martial artist and school owner, Dave Kovar, known throughout the martial arts industry as «the teacher of teachers.» Kovar was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2010 by the Martial Arts Industry Association and continues to operate nine locations in Northern California.
Under Kovar’s direct instruction, our instructors teach a hybrid blend of Muay Thai Kickboxing, Kenpo Karate, scenario-based self-defense, grappling and Filipino weapons/Doce Pares Eskrima.

Business Owner
A 3rd Degree Black Belt Instructor with experience in karate, kickboxing and mixed martial arts, Ms. Walzog is an active member of The Ultimate Black Belt Test, a professional martial arts organization dedicated to bringing the spirit of the martial arts «out of the dojo and into the world.» Ms. Walzog is a Certified Instructor of FAST Defense, a reality-based self-defense system voted Best Self-Defense for Women by the readers of Black Belt Magazine. In addition, she is a black belt in Doce Pares under Grand Master Dong Cuesta, a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and a USA Boxing Level 1 Certified Trainer.
