History

Established in 2001.

Shahnawaz Palace is a family run business that set out to fill a need for a true Pakistani restaurant and banquet hall. Our goal was to recreate the authentic taste from back home and we are proud of our achievement in reaching that goal. We really love the community and enjoy doing business with our fellow Pakistanis.

We have been in business serving the Pakistani & Indian community since 1995. Shahnawaz Palace opened as a banquet facility in 2001, filling the role of the first authentic Pakistani banquet facility in the Northeast. On top of a banquet facility, we also provide catering services far and wide, from Boston to Virginia and beyond. With a capability of serving several thousand guests, we can provide catering for any occasion.

Meet the Business Owner

Nadir K.

Business Owner

I have had a passion for business for all my life. I have provided to many, however I haven’t found my calling. When my wife suggested starting a restaurant I didn’t hesitate. I established my first restaurant in Brooklyn, NY. This was a small restaurant that did relatively well. Once we moved out of Brooklyn and into Edison, NJ we began our search for a great location and stumbled upon the now Shahnawaz Palace. My family started to renovate the beaten up building and restored it to what it is today. I take great pride in my work and plan on continuing this line of work for the rest of my life and hopefully pass it on to future generations.
