Meet the Business Owner
Seaton D.
Business Owner
Seaton was first introduced to the world of physical
therapy following a knee injury during his youth. As
he experienced the therapy process first-hand and
discovered its effectiveness in helping him return to
his favorite activities, Seaton developed a passion
for physical therapy and realized his calling.
Seaton earned his Master’s Degree of Physical
Therapy in 2003 at Quinnipiac University in
Connecticut, and took his studies further in San
Diego, California, with Applied Functional Science and Functional Movement Systems. Then in 2012, Seaton moved with his wife, daughter and son to Edmond, Oklahoma, where he found a large active community. The need for the alternative
approach to traditional rehabilitation was apparent and Function Physical
Therapy was opened as a result.
The integrated blend of science and movement,
meeting and interacting with a variety of patients,
and most importantly having a direct impact on
injury prevention are Seaton’s favorite aspect of physical therapy.
