History
Established in 2012.
In 2012, Moni and his son Brett looked to Oklahoma and saw fertile land in Edmond. They started the first Moni’s not located in Texas. It was a hit, and word-of-mouth in the surrounding areas had Moni’s Edmond on the map in no time. In early 2014, Brett decided to move his family back to Dallas with all their relatives. He began searching to sell Moni’s Edmond to a local family and pass on the rich Moni’s family tradition (and recipes!). He found that John and Rachel Foster were the perfect fit.
Rachel is a classically trained chef and brings 12 years of restaurant experience to Moni’s Edmond, including working under Gordon Ramsey’s Sous Chef Gloria Felix in Los Angeles and being the Sous Chef at The Mantle in Bricktown for two years while John brings his business experience to the restaurant. The rave reviews have continued and Moni’s Edmond is now open on Mondays!
