Business Owner

Being a pet lover himself, Dr. J. Brian Ledger has a passion for treating and healing diseases and also teaching pet owners how to properly care for and prevent problems and diseases from occurring.

What are Dr. Ledgers credentials? He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1997 from Oklahoma State University, practiced small animal medicine in the Oklahoma City metro area, and opened Pampered Pets Veterinary Clinic & Spa in July of 2004. Dr. Ledger received accreditation from the American Animal Hospital Association in 2007.

What are Dr. Ledger’s passions? Spending time with his wife, family and friends, pampering his 6 dogs: Mattie, Tigger, Bridgett, Yogi, Beagle, Tiki and Lincoln, and enjoying the outdoors including agility trials with Mattie and Lincoln.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! From the staff to Dr Ledger he’s awesome.
I’ve been taking my pets there for 5 yrs now and very please. The staff greets u as u walk in holds an conversation with you. Very very friendly!
I had to get one of my Dogs teeth cleaned they took their time to explain every step they were goin to do. They found out my dog needed 4 teeth extracted and called me to let me know and to let me know how my dog was doin thru out the process. The vet explains thing too you in very simple terms.
My dogs seem happy!
I would recommend this place And I have to everyone whom needs a great vet.
It takes me 20 mins to drive to this place but I don’t mind for quality service.

Will never take my dog anywhere else except to Pampered Pets. I am so happy we found Pampered Pets – we are so happy with them!!!
Dr Ledger talks to our dog like he is his own, with love. He can take good care of a sick pet and stays on top of any problems. There is always a follow up call from Dr Ledger or staff member later in day of appointment.
Everyone working here is so caring and friendly. The staff make you feel like you and your pet are family member!

We have been using Pampered Pets Clinic and Spa for seven years. Our first experience was when we had a very sick Yorkie puppy. Our previous vet who we had seen for several years was unable to diagnose her. We met Dr. Ledger after being referred to him by another pet owner at the Emergency Animal Clinic. Dr. Ledger immediately took control of our Yorkie’s health situation utilizing specialists as he determined necessary. Unfortunately, we lost her two years later due to a rare blood disease. Subsequently, we took three baby Yorkie sisters and they have been with Dr. Ledger and the Pampered Pets staff for the last 5 and ½ years. We are extremely pleased with the care they receive for their medical needs as well as the boarding and grooming services. They are always so happy and excited to go into the doors of Pampered Pets and we feel extremely confident that they are well taken care of in our absence. It is a gift to have the peace of mind that they are being well taken care while we are gone. We would highly recommend Pampered Pets (and often do) to anyone looking for a wonderful vet and boarding facility with a staff that is very caring. Jim and Kathy

We have brought our teacup yorkie here three times to board. First time they lost her tags. Not really sure how that even happens! Second time her leash… This last time her blanket and they broke her food bowls. She seemed to be very depressed when she got home this time and very sleepy… Almost to the point where it seemed she was on something. They did complain that she barked a lot when we called to check in on her while we were on vacation. But really hope they didn’t give her anything to get her to stop barking.

Took my mini-​schnauzers here 6 wks ago for the first time. They meticulously verified shot records via my vet, which was a major plus. I was able to get an appointment within two weeks of my call. The clinic is in a convenient location on the north side of covell, between Broadway and Kelly. The reception area is really nice. They quickly took my pets and asked a few questions about their grooming. When I came to get them, the dogs looked wonderful and seemed very happy with the experience. I think the price ended up being a little higher than Kickingbird Pets or Puppy Love. I called back to see if there were any openings for the upcoming weekend, but was told they don’t do grooming on the weekend. That’s extremely inconvenient for people that work, as Saturdays would be a great time for essentials with my pets… that’s a real bummer, in my view; otherwise, they would get 5 stars.
