This place is absolutely beautiful! It seems like it’s really new, and they still have a few things to work on, but it has all the makings of a beautiful wedding venue. They have a large outdoor ceremony area, with pews that face a large shaded platform for the bride and groom. The 360 view was gorgeous– classic Oklahoma countryside. There was also a wraparound covered patio where guests were held until it was time to go down to the ceremony. The shade provided there, coupled with a short and sweet ceremony that started promptly after we were seated, meant that we did not get too hot. Indoors for the reception, beautiful stained concrete floors and huge windows made the space. A DJ was set up in one area, and a built in bar was a nice touch that I’m sure makes it a lot easier for caterers. A side room was the perfect size to set up the food, and a long hallway led to a lounge and restrooms. The lounge is apparently where the guys got ready and hung out — pool tables, TVs and nice furniture made it really nice for the fellas. I heard from the bridesmaids that they had a huge area upstairs with barbers chairs and full length mirrors for hair and makeup and lots of room to spread out. Some things that will need some work: parking would have been really tough if it had rained at all last week. The grass also needed to be mowed in this area. It was treacherous walking from the car in tall grass across uneven ground before the wedding– but when we left after dark, it was downright scary. There were also a few little touches inside that could have been made nicer, like a big rolling rack of linens that sat in the hallway leading to the restrooms. That easily could have been placed somewhere else and it looked a little odd. But overall, a lovely wedding venue with lots of natural beauty, that felt like it was way out in the country even though it was only about 10 minutes out of town.
