I can’t believe this. Want a table outside for a beer. Waiting almost an hour. Empty tables all around. Staff says we can’t sit down because they don’t have enough utensils. i drink from a glass.

Great family restaurant if you go downstairs and sit outside they have a sand box for kids to play in! The food is great I love the bread! And everyone is so nice!

Not a fan. This being my first time in Washington i was exited to see what great fresh seafood they had to offer and this was not the place. I believe it was the fisherman’s basket, it all tasted like it was straight out of the microwave and the calamari was so undercooked it still felt slimmy. Not $ 18 worth for sure. Our waitress was great and gave extra shrimp with the basket since it came with a wopping two of them. Will definitely be visiting Washington again but not Anthony’s…

Me and my family were visiting Seattle this past week and were eating some of the best food we have had in a long time. We ate at many different food places with no disappointment. We decided to eat here our last night in Edmonds looking forward to some amazing seafood like earlier in the week(Rorys)The menu was boring. The food was subpar. Service was barely average. And for the pricing, it was not worth it. Not one person in my family was satisfied with the food(there was 7 of us) and we aren’t very picky. It was a disappointing final dinner.

Dined here tonight with a party of 9. We had an amazing time and meal. Tried to make a reservation but they wouldn’t take one so we went hoping for the best. We got a table within 15 minutes of arriving. Ordered the blue plate special and it was amazing! The rockfish was fresh and I really enjoyed the way it was prepared. Clam chowder was very good too. I visit New England on a regular basis so I know a good chowder. Everyone in the party enjoyed their meal and we had excellent service. The server also didn’t bat an eye when we asked to split the check. We’ll definitely be back!

The casual atmosphere while dining by the Edmonds marina is a bonus with all their delicious entrees. Caesar salad is among the best I’ve tasted. Service was a bit slow this Sunday, like the staff was overwhelmed. Their food saved the day!

Fried this, fried that, fries on the side. Thanks to friends and visiting family from out of state I have eaten here four or five times, and each time I left wondering why I had gone there. Go upstairs for good seafood cooked, not fried. If you like fried food with(pretty good) French fries, then this is OK. But fer cryin’ out loud, you’re in the home of fresh seafood. Frying is what you do with three-day-old catfish, not fresh halibut.

I have not been to Anthony’s since this summer — and after going there tonight I remember why I stopped going. The Beach Café was at one time a favorite of mine and we would go every two weeks. My favorite meal was The Hawaiian Cobb — over time the salad has gone from something that I consider a meal to nothing more then salad greens. I took a picture of my salad and could not believe the difference, instead of a mound of shrimp there was literally about 10 small shrimp… Considering the salad is $ 15.95 it is no longer a substantial meal and really quite a rip off– The wait staff is always good and I realize it is not their fault that the portions have reduced considerably… Not planning on returning anytime soon…

If you want some good fish and chips this is your place. I ordered the salmon and chips and they were tasty. I was impressed that it was an average sized portion of good fish, instead of a huge serving of subpar fish which you usually see at restaurants. The salmon was moist and the breading was good. The menu here features all sorts of things including fish tacos, fish and chips, dinner platters, salads, etc. This place isn’t as stuffy as the upstairs restaurant and is more family friendly, both in atmosphere and on the wallet. If you’re looking for quiet fine dining this is not your place, you should go upstairs. But if you’re looking for a lively family meal this is your place.

This place is phenomenal. My husband, my roommate and myself found this place driving around, and it was an amazing experience. The food was beyond words. I ordered the Kalbi Chicken Bowl per the waitress’s recommendation and it was one of the best things I ever eaten. My husband ordered the shrimp fettuccine and demolished it. I’m not a seafood fan and even I liked it. Our waitress was the sweetest person. She gave us helpful suggestions on what to order and when finding out we were new to the area, she told us all of these great tips about the weather and what to expect and was overall a very personable and attentive waitress.

There are very few restaurants that I feel totally comfortable bringing my two kids and also receiving an excellent meal. Here’s the reasons I adore this place: Giant sandbox that is well cared for where the kids play, and I dine. Quality inexpensive kids menu. Very good cioppino. A view of the water. A lot of pluses to this excellent gem of a place. I have a new fave!

This is a great restaurant with patio for those who are close to Edmonds, want to enjoy the sunny summer with friends and those that have kids. Nice staff, good food, good live music, pleasant location by the water. I had a great time with my friends there. I tried coconut prawn bowl which honestly I didn’t expect too much from the dish because the environment was already worth it, but I was wrong. The coconut prawn bowl was delicious! I dont have any reason to not give 5 stars to this place.

It’s your classic, neighborhood PNW food joint — nothing to write home about but everything is cooked well with good flavors! They do have delicious clam chowder, and my friend was happy with the salmon bowl.

At lunch today, Tuesday July 7, 2015, there was a glitch with the kitchen printer that delayed our food from coming out in a normal amount of time. Our waitperson and the manager both came by to proactively explain the situation. They gave us a complimentary dessert to make up for the delay. We received our order shortly thereafter. The food was excellent and the service, aside from the printer glitch, was terrific. But I do want to say that what I was most impressed with was the proactive approach by the manager and waitperson to avert what would have been a very unhappy experience for us. As it turned out, it was awesome. Professionalism and taking responsibility won the day for Anthony’s Beach Café. You other restaurant owners, managers and waitstaff can learn a lesson here. It’s not hard. Well done Anthony’s. Well done!

You really can’t beat the downtown Edmonds waterfront on a hot, summers day in Seattle. We arrived just before they opened and got in line with the rest of the hungry locals. We were sat outside in 5 minutes and our serve was young but helpful and very attentive. We ordered the clam chowder and fish tacos. Thought it was a bit strange that our meals were served with chips and salsa but it was enjoyable none the less. The ciabatta bread with butter, oil and herbs they serve as you sit down was really, really too good. I had to push that away and fast! Really can’t go wrong with this place.

I was contacted by the manager Barb Mountz about my issues, and I have to say that she was extremely sympathetic to my complaint. She actually took ownership of this and assured me that this is not how Anthony’s trains their help and explained that their expectations actually should exceed mine. I could tell that she was very concerned and was extremely appreciative of my review and follow up. I trust that my next visit(that will be soon) will be of the same standard of customer service that Anthony’s is famous for.

I don’t know what happened to Anthony’s Beach Café. The idea is awesome: a more affordable version of Anthony’s with the same experience. And they’ve been an Edmonds institution for years. I’ve gone and eaten there since I was a little girl. A friend of mine, raised in Edmonds, loves Edmonds and had her wedding reception at Anthony’s. That’s how much we adore Anthony’s. I can’t imagine Edmonds without both Anthony’s and the Beach Café. That said… They did a remodel a few years back. And the inside looks great! They can seat more people, and they have a few more private rooms. But they don’t have enough waiting staff for the amount of customers they have. Due to this, their service is slow. I’ll forgive them on things, because I know how stressful it can be when you only have another server with you and there’s a huge line of hungry people, not to mention all of the customers you have already seated. And we were in on the last week a coupon was going to be valid. But if you have a deal going on, shouldn’t you make sure you have enough people covering the floor? I will say their food hasn’t suffered, it’s still delicious. Their salmon cakes are to die for. And I always love their fish tacos. Just bring the service up a notch.

We visited Anthony’s on a Monday night around 6pm– It was moderately busy. They have a unlimited fish and chips special on Mondays for I believe $ 13.95. That is probably why. We were seated right away– A nice window seat overlooking the patio in front of the marina. Our server Molly was very friendly and attentive– Fast service for everything– I am not a seafood fan, I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich– Hold the Mayo– It was perfect very tasty! IPA from local brewery was cold and good. Other members of my table ordered various fried fish dishes– No complaints– Everyone was happy with their meal. — Its pretty pricey, but what you expect on Edmonds Marina– We will be back!
