We hired Adrian for our school PTA Sock Hop. I cannot recommend him highly enough! Great music selection, mixed 50’s rock and roll and modern favorites that the kids loved! It was the best event yet, everyone had a wonderful time. I will definitely recommend hiring him again for next year!

Was extremely happy with the entire process in ordering a DJ for my Dad’s Birthday party! I selected City DJ based upon their reviews on Unilocal and I wasn’t let down. Email correspondences were always dealt with in a timely manner! DJ Wendy was extremely flexible to the particular timing of our party, which helped relieve a ton of my stress! She would check in to make sure we were happy throughout the party too. Super professional and I would absolutely recommend hiring them!

After looking into over a dozen DJ’s we interviewed three DJ’s personally. While Adrian seemed a little quirky at first, we soon discovered that he really knew his music and was very organized. He gave us a questionnaire to and at our final meeting he took copious notes and asked lots of questions to make sure that he had the complete outline for our wedding reception. Adrian arrived early at our venue and was setup and playing before our first guests arrived — early. Adrian orchestrated the entire evening, coordinating everything with the caterer. The introduction of the wedding party was very professional and exciting. He played music during the food services which was very enjoyable and at a sound level low enough to be heard yet allowed easy conversation amongst our guests. Adrian was a great MC during the toasts and encouraged many more people to add their toasts than we had expected. Our guest ranged from a five years old to over seventy and Adrian varied the music so that the dance floor was always jumping. Adrian was an amazing wedding MC & DJ! He was very professional and kept the wedding on track! He got to know us and played music that everyone loved! The dance floor was full all night! He cares about his job and he cared about our wedding. He is a great DJ and a great person! HIGHLY recommend!

Adrian was our DJ for our January 24^th 2015 wedding, and he was great! He was very attentive to the audience and played everything I had requested. He seemed really passionate about what he does and it showed in his style. He stayed until the bitter end and had a great attitude the whole time. He really set the mood for every aspect of the wedding, and he was always out there directing us to what was next. He is definitely someone I would hire again the next time I need a DJ!

Since our experience attending weddings had made it clear that a DJ can make or break a guests experience, we looked at what options we have in the Seattle area and set up meetings with a couple of different people. When we met with Adrian, we were impressed by his work, his relaxed manner, and the knowledge/​experience he seems to have. We don’t regret choosing City DJ!
Wendy served as DJ at our 8÷16÷14 wedding and did an incredible job! Family and friends had a ton of fun– the dance floor was packed and people are talking about it. No awkward moments, she made us all feel like it was a unique and awesome celebration. And we didn’t give a lot of direction regarding what songs to play or not– Wendy chooses well! She can read a crowd and didn’t make it too corny. We just had an absurd amount of fun.

Adrian is amazing! He was the dj at my wedding this summer. We had a meeting a couple weeks before the wedding where we went over all of the details of the big day, he put my mind at ease after that meeting. This guy really knows what he’s doing and listens to everything you want and somehow pulls it all together. I had a pretty specific «must play» and «do not play» list and he somehow managed to play everything I wanted and did not play the stuff I didn’t. Adrian checked in with me all throughout the reception to make sure everything was going the way I wanted and to inform me that we were going to start something (first dance, boquet toss, ect) he is like part dj part wedding coordinator, the day would not have gone so smooth without him! I also went to a wedding last summer and that’s where I met Adrian. Seeing him at that wedding is what made me know I needed him for my big day. He knows what he’s doing, he has good taste in music, he is not the typical corney wedding dj. He plays great music and his time on the mic is pleasent and professional. Can’t say enough great things! Thanks Adrian!

Adrian DJ’d my little sister’s wedding this weekend and he was amazing. He handled himself with professionalism and poise the entire event. And let me tell you, it was a big event! There were location changes across and 5 acre farm, many announcements and segments that he had to facilitate and crowd wrangle for, and my little sister is no bridezilla, but she definitely knew what she wanted and had some guidelines she wanted followed and Adrian never did a THING without confirming with her or the timeline she had given him first. It was amazing and smooth and perfect and beautiful and went off without a hitch. I have seen other DJs at other events who don’t follow the bride’s wishes, or make too big of a spectacle out of themselves, or are not respectful to guests or wedding parties. This was not the case with Adrian and City DJ. I truly appreciate what he did for my sister and new brother-​in-​law and can’t say enough how perfect he is for weddings and I assume any other event someone would want a DJ for. He was a big cog in our machinery that day and he blended right in with all the friends and family who were running the other parts of the event. Thank you so much Adrian! I can’t say enough!

This was our second wedding with Adrian as our dj. He was amazing! He knew our venue and executed perfectly! He is professional, clever and one time and followed the bride’s instructions to a tee! We definitely would use him again!

Adrian and Wendy are a great team! No matter how much you put your schedule together on your wedding day just hand it over to Wendy and they will follow it perfectly! You will not have time to keep track of things/​time, but Wendy is great at nicely reminding you on what it happening next in order to stay on track! Helpful for those who have a certain amount of time on their photographers! We told them what music we liked and what we are looking for (Must plays and must not) Adrian was great at mixing all kinds of music so everyone can enjoy! And when the night really gets going he knows how to get everyone on the dance floor! They are great and REALLY FUN! They DJ’d our wedding and the partnered with Atomic Photobooth which is a must! Both are amazing and all super fun people!

Wendy was the DJ for our wedding, and was a HIT!!! Our initial meeting was really helpful, and she really paid attention to our likes/​dislikes and offered fun song recommendations. And she stayed about 2 hours longer than anticipated — all with a smile and great energy. I recommend her 100% and will definitely call upon her again for future parties. And Adrian was awesome at the Photobooth! We had a pretty big party (150) and he made taking pictures fun and exciting, rather than intimidating or cumbersome. We can’t thank them enough for making our Wedding day the absolute best day EVER! Thank you so much!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE City DJ! Wendy DJ-​ed our wedding in August 2013, and everyone at the wedding loved her! From the minute that I met with Wendy and Adrian I knew that I made the right choice with choosing City DJ (I live out of state, so didn’t meet in person until 2 weeks before). They are both very professional, organized, reliable and fun! Wendy made me feel at ease before the wedding, because she walked me through the whole wedding timeline and I could tell that this wasn’t her first rodeo!!! She is super on top of her stuff! Not only did I get a great DJ, but I got a day of wedding coordinator!
The day of the wedding, Wendy was on time, super helpful and a calming presence (just the type of person that a stressed out bride needs around!). She came to me while I was getting my make up done, gave me a pep talk and a glass of champagne! During the reception she kept things moving along, made sure people were where they were supposed to be and went above and beyond my expectations of a wedding DJ! She even gave my super nervous sister (Maid of Honor) a pep talk before her speech (which went awesome!)!! When it was time to get our boogie on, Wendy did a great job of playing music that made people groove on the dance floor, we had so much fun! Also, her commentary during the reception was funny and on point! Words cannot describe the gratitude that I feel towards Wendy for making my Wedding Day so perfect! She was worth every penny! Thanks City DJ! YOU ROCK!!!

Adrian at City DJ is awesome. He knows how to go with the flow, and create a fun event! At my son’s Bar Mitzvah he had something for everyone. Games for the little kids, cool activities for the teens, and great dance songs for the adults. He was flexible when we asked him for specific songs. He was perfect for our event.

Adrian DJ’ed our wedding March 2^nd and was terrific. He worked well in the space, which was a challenging place to DJ, played great music throughout the reception and especially for the dancing. Incredibly professional, super collaborative with playlists, incorporating everything we wanted to play and bringing music in that fit the vibe we were looking for perfectly. Can’t recommend him and City DJ enough.

Very professional. I recommend you burn a CD with different kind of music you like and Adrian will incorporate it. He was very good.

City DJ is awesome! I actually joined Unilocal just to write a review about them! That’s how much I love them.
I was a bit cautious before meeting them since I didn’t want cheesy music at our wedding. Wendy and Adrian immediately put me at ease. They made a point of listening to both what my fiancé (now husband!) and I wanted.
At the wedding, the music was perfect. Some oldies, some goodies and each song was tastefully done. Wendy and Adrian made sure to check in with us throughout the night to see if everything was alright, which I appreciated. Wendy was also immensely helpful with guiding the flow of the wedding, so really, all we had to do was enjoy our wedding reception!
We went ahead and also got the photo booth through them (see separate review about it on Atomic Photobooth). It was definitely the highlight activity of the night for the majority of our guests.
Overall, I highly recommend City DJ! You can’t get a more attentive set of DJ people who really just want to make your event truly special.

I LOVE CITY DJ!!! I can’t even tell you how many obnoxious DJs we interviewed for our wedding, and when we found Adrian and Wendy it was like the clouds parted and the sun started shining.
The music for our wedding was tasteful, fun, totally in our taste, but at the same time Wendy took requests from the crowd and kept everyone on the dance floor all night. In fact I’ve received a number of compliments on how fun my wedding was and how great the music was and I am attributing that to Wendy’s awesome DJ-​ing. We literally had everything from Ella Fitzgerald to New Order to Journey to R&B. She also gave us a great recommendation for my bridal processional, I dreaded the thought of walking down the aisle to Here Comes the Bride, Wendy had us listen to I Wanna Be Married by Nellie McKay and it was PERFECT!!!
I know City DJ also does a photobooth and I think you get a deal when you get both the DJ services and photobooth.
I would recommend City DJ to anyone looking to have a fun time at their event and who don’t want to be cookie-​cutter. Wendy and Adrian rock, and you can tell they truly love what they do.

Non-​cheesy wedding DJ! Adrian was completely awesome about playing music we like. People were dancing until the hall kicked us out! My husband’s family is from Colombia and he was awesome about playing salsa as well as the rock and dance stuff we like. We had a great reception sans the hokey pokey, the chicken dance, and no electric slide!
Very reasonably priced and easy to work with. I’d definitely recommend!
