History

Established in 1995.

After working at the Seattle Weekly as an art director for 4 years, I opened my own studio in Pioneer Square and later moved it to Edmonds, close to the charming downtown area.

Business Owner

Magrit Baurecht, the principal of Core Creative Team, was born and raised in Austria where she earned a degree in architecture.

After moving to the U.S., Magrit studied graphic design and worked for 4 years as an art director for the Seattle Weekly. She has been in business for herself for over 15 years.

Magrit has always had a passion and talent for translating ideas into visual form and brings great enthusiasm, skill and humor to the creative process of design/​marketing and helping businesses and organizations excel.

Aside form her passion for design, Magrit loves photography and travel (ideally combined), color, flowers, cats, all things Italian, movies and foreign films, music, yoga, running and riding her (Italian) bike.

As a commercial photographer I have worked on several projects with Magrit over the last year. Hands down she is one of the best branding, concept, business identify specialists, along with being an amazing graphic designer. Magrit does it all beautifully and fluidly. What I also love about her… she excels at using photographing well in her designs so my work appears beautifully in her work.

Although I have not had work done personally through Core Creative Team, I have an ongoing professional relationship with Magrit Baurecht, the owner, and I have seen many examples of her work.
Magrit is great! She has a very warm and open personality and she is extremely easy to get along with. Her graphic design work speaks for itself. It is classic and clean, and most of all, her work is effective; it conveys necessary information in a visually attractive way – a task that is very hard to do without the right skills!
