I would give these guys 6 stars if that was possible! Joby has been my go-​to guy for pre-​buyer inspections of possible used cars and he’s always fit me in and given me honest, clear and helpful advice now on four different vehicles. Joby has been a great help and, honestly, everyone I’ve met at the shop seems to follow that same ethos. really great customer service and candid, sound advice and assessment.

I’ve gone here several times and have been amazed at the service that’s offered here. The staff is friendly and attentive and always willing to explain things in a way that I understand. They just seem extremely genuine and understanding of their clients and are who I would absolutely recommend to anyone needing servicing.

Wow! Edmonds automotive went above and beyond. I called on a Sunday to leave a message about how my muffler and tail pipe had come loose and was dragging under my 1975 Volvo.
Chazz called me the next day and when I asked how much it would run, be said under $ 100. That sounded great to me, since I’m a self-​supporting student. He went over to where it was parked downtown to check it out.
I was on my way to work, so he said if I dropped off my keys he could run it back to the shop that same day. When I saw him next, he was standing in line at the coffee shop where I work to drop of my car keys. Without giving me a bill he said it came to $ 20 and to just come by when I had a chance.
I assume since it was only a matter of welding he just fit it right in, I hear EA is booked sometimes months ahead. All in all, I had the most heart-​warming «small town» experience here and they have earned a lifetime customer. The business has been passed down to Chazz who is the son of the previous owner. From what my grandfather tells me, Chazz is keeping up the reputation and legacy that was before him!

5 star service as always. My Niece drove up from LA, had a check engine light, they checked it, confirmed it was nothing important, sent her on her way no charge. Nice job Edmonds Automotive!

These guys are great. We’ve taken both of our cars (Infiniti and Audi) here. When it was an emergency (check engine light) they managed to work it in to their schedule to get us back on the road right away. they do great work at reasonable labor rates. Highly recommend this shop!

One new alternator later and I have a working truck again … and have found my go-​to auto repair shop. Joby got the truck right in; excellent customer service that you don’t find too often these days!

I was hesitante bringing my car in a new shop, but I’m so glad I did! They are the nicest people, the explain to you exactly what is going on with your car, what is going to be fix, and how much it will be. You leave their garage knowing more about your car. They are just so friendly and helpful. My car was shaking really bad, every time I would stop it would start to shake and honestly I thought it was going to blow up at some point. What originally I thought would cost 500 – 600 only cost me 300, you don’t know how happy I was to hear that. If you ever need to bring your car to get fixed, bring it to them! You will not regret it. Thanks Edmonds Automotive!

These guys are great. I called to do an inspection on a car that I just bought and they told me to bring it in for a quick check although they won’t be able to take the tires off because they’re very busy but will give me a good inspection.
They were very nice and did their check and told me what needs to be fixed AND Didn’t take any money!

This place is SO trustworthy I towed my car from a repair shop in Issaquah to have them look at it — and it was worth every penny. Reading the one negative review on here actually got my blood boiling — THAT’S how reliable and honest they are.
Three generations of my family have been Edmond Auto regulars. When I was on the used-​car hunt last year, I brought 3 different cars on 3 different days for them to do inspections before I considered buying — and each time someone was available to stop what they were doing and spend the next 10 – 15 minutes talking specifications thru with me in a way that made me feel like I was going to make the right decision, even though I know absolutely nothing about cars. And it was no charge! For basically stealing 15 minutes of their time — how many other shops have that level of care for their customers?
Fast forward to 12 months and 1 move to Snoqualmie later. Said car overheats on I-​90. Having already established I am woefully deficient in car knowledge, I continue driving it (I know, I know… now) until I find a repair shop in Issaquah that specializes in German engines and has good Unilocal reviews. They run a diagnostic (for $ 30) and tell me that they would like to remove something and check something and all in all the estimate is $ 3000 – 4000, possibly replacing the engine. !!!
I freak out. Call my parents. Also woefully deficient in car knowledge. Next call I make: Edmonds Auto. I (tearfully) explain the situation and parrot back what the other repair shop said was needed, and they calmly tell me exactly what to say when I call them back: what to ask for, what to say I need done, and how they would handle the situation. I take a deep breath and call back the other shop.
Long story short, this back and forth of Me, the Other Shop, and Edmonds Auto continues for a few more calls (next estimate from the Other Shop: $ 2700). I make the call to the tow shop to get the car the heck out of Issaquah and up to Edmonds.
Edmonds Auto fixes the problem (something did need to be replaced, but it sure wasn’t the entire engine) and the car is back on the road for under $ 700. Not a problem since.
I appreciate having a car repair shop in my corner to honestly look into what the problem is and the best way to fix it — instead of jumping ahead to let’s handle the worst case scenario first and pay lots for it. I understand a whole new engine would’ve also fixed the problem a

I went to Chaz at Edmonds Automotive because of the positive reviews I read and was so glad I did! I read that they do free pre-​purchase used car inspections, but thought it was too good to be true. So I called to confirm and they do! Chaz talked with me on the phone about my car choice, pros/​cons, what concerns I had, etc. and made me feel like I could trust him. I brought it in the very next day and he spent about an hour with me walking me through what he was checking and why. He also reminded me to be proactive about maintenance and keep a record of what’s soon due, what’s been done, etc. And this was all for free! Added bonus – only 3 miles from Aurora where many a car dealership are located.
Highly recommended. Great policy.
