This is a traditional barber shop in the heart of Edmonds. John does a great job in providing a quality men’s haircut. Highly recommended.

After something like 30 years I decided to go to a real barber instead of a stylist to get my hair cut and my beard trimmed. It was a little strange at first, but I quickly got pretty comfortable with it. I like the idea of going to someone who is an experienced professional and business owner, as opposed to an employee who I may or may not see again. There were a couple of things I really liked. First, he did a far better job of masking my neck with paper and apron. Second, he employed his clippers like he really knew what he was doing, instead of just running them all over my head. Third, he used suction to get rid of the cut hairs instead of a hair dryer(the latter doesn’t work at all). Fourth, he used hot lather and a straight razor to clean up the back of my neck. Oh, and he did a very nice job of trimming my beard. I will definitely be going back!

A few years ago I tried Edmonds Barber Shop and I’m glad I did. Being slightly follicle challenged, I have found that barbers struggle with getting a good cut and look for me. John worked his magic and proved to me worthy of continued patronage. So the old saying. «what’s the difference between a good haircut and a bad one… about 2 weeks» doesn’t hold true for Edmonds Barber Shop.
