We are proud to provide equipment rental and party rental service in the Edmonds, Lynnwood, Mountlake Terrace, Everett, and Seattle Metro areas since 1959.

We specialize in homeowner equipment rental, as well as contractor equipment and party rental. We are a leading equipment rental center for the Edmonds, Lynnwood, Shoreline, Mountlake Terrace, South Everett and Seattle Metro areas.

Our experienced staff is comfortable helping customers select canopies, china, and dance floor for weddings and other events, as well as selecting the right telescoping boom lift and chain saw for a landscaping project. Our party rental inventory ranges from chocolate fountains to air walk bounce houses and from margarita machines to popcorn and hot dog machines. We have enough chairs, tables and flatware to handle intimate family gatherings or community events. Our equipment rental inventory is also quite diverse, including outdoor power equipment such as Stihl chainsaws, brushcutters, blowers and trimmers. Thatchers, aerators and tillers are also very popular during the spring and summer. And we can’t forget our larger equipment such as bobcats, backhoes large and small, and several sizes of trackhoes and boom lifts.

We’ll be happy to line up a Boom Lift and a Chainsaw for your work party, or get you a Margarita Machine and Chocolate Fountain for your after work party.

History

Established in 1959.

Raymond Miller founded the company in 1959 with a small inventory of equipment to serve his few but loyal customers, we have continued to be family owned ever since, and as our family has grown, so has our inventory. We now service a much larger area with both party and equipment, and we pride ourselves on our customer service.

Family owned and operated, our family has been meeting this area’s rental needs in both equipment rental and party rental for 3 generations.

If I could give this company a negative star I would. I rented a tent from this company for my wedding reception last Sunday. After everything was set up by Lake Washington and guests had arrived gusts of wind started blowing off of the lake. As the wind began picking up in intensity people began gathering under the tent. Within a very short amount of time the wind blew the tent over. It’s a minor miracle that none of the 100 or so people there were injured. The tent did however crush an SUV parked behind it. After the tent toppled the reception was for all practical purposes over. Months of planning and money spent wasted simply because this company’s setup crew didn’t know how to properly secure the tent. After the fact this company begrudgingly offered to refund half the rental fee and compensate the SUV owner. Not a good offer but the only other way to get satisfaction, unfortunately, is to sue them for negligence. I will never recommend this company to anyone.

My husband and I have rented from Miller’s twice now with an excellent experience each time! The customer service has been great (especially Paxton). They are very knowledgeable, offered up helpful advice, and showed us how to work the equipment. They even refunded some of our money back to us for returning equipment early, which I didn’t expect. They have a delivery/​pickup service which is very reasonably priced and a huge help in a pinch. We’ll definitely be renting from them again!

I have rented equipment three times, each time noting good customer service but not quite a great overall customer experience.
For heavy equipment like loaders and excavators I reserve ahead of time. But each time I have to wait in the yard while they fire them up, move them, etc. In short, couldn’t they get ready for the day ahead of time?
Equipment has been fine but one trailer rental required me to rig the dump trailers gate with straps to hold it open as they gave it to me missing the gate hold open latch and I didn’t notice until I had it loaded.
Rates are fair. A good rental shop for equipment, overall.

They sell Whites metal detectors and accessories but are rude and too busy to help if you call. If you decide to go there you can get what you want but the prices are higher than what Whites has listed. Save some money and deal directly with Whites or at least another dealer that wants your business.

I drive across the city (from Madison Park) to rent from these guys. The first time, I rented a compost spreader. Nice, clean and worked fine. Not that complicated. So I returned it,. .. all the way across the city.
A few weeks later, I needed to rent a chain saw. Did not want to drive 30 minutes again, but. .. I did. I had to wait because they put a new chain on the chain saw. It cut so well, that I only used it for two hours and returned it a day early. It was worth the drive to have a well maintained piece of equipment.
I would recommend these guys. I see builders and contractors renting from them as well. They appear to take personal pride in their equipment.

I used Miller’s for my equipment rental (chairs and some tables) for my recent wedding. They were OK — the price was good and I appreciated their flexibility with my numerous changes over the last few weeks before the wedding. I took off two stars because I had to correct the order when something I requested had nevertheless been omitted, and also because they called me several times on my wedding day to discuss drop off when I had given them contact information for both my wedding coordinator and the venue coordinator for day of inquiries since I was obviously distracted with other things.

Don’t go there, they are only about money, no worry about good service service, I wish we have some other store close by, I rent chain saw by the time I tried it was died. I went back to ask they say I have to pay to have replacement the chain. Need improvement on customer satisfaction.

I went in to this store knowing exactly what I wanted. The person at the counter was very helpful and told me about specials and incentives. He was very thorough when he demonstrated to me how my new brush cutter operated. Excellent customer service and easy transaction. I will return to have my equipment maintained/​serviced. I also thought the prices for Stihl were very reasonable… not exactly cheap, but you sometimes need to compromise price with quality.
