I usually go for the cake and pastries. I am confused why people go to a bakery for shaved ice? I have bought cake from this store both at their old and new location and always got the same good consistency.

The staff are so sweet here and the pastries are delicious. The veggie bun and cream buns are my favorite, and their packaged breads are great too. I’ve never had the pat bing soo(shaved ice) so I can’t say if it’s good or not. But I’ve tried most items in their case and I’ve loved them all. Tiramisu is the best. And the strawberry shortcake was delicious!

This bakery use to be in shoreline and I thought they had closed years ago so I was ecstatic when I noticed they had moved over to this location. They make really good fried vegetable buns(I think they are fried, they are good nonetheless) I have tried it at other places and they make it the best here in my opinion. Their red bean buns are both really good too. I’ll be making my weekly stops here.

We got the tiramisu cake, strawberry shortcake and green tea. First off in regards to the green tea cake I am almost 100% sure the baker made a mistake by putting salt in the whipped cream instead of sugar, the cake was salty!!! The whipped cream part was. I was so shocked, I had to spit it out. The cake didn’t even taste like green tea, I think it was just green color. The strawberry shortcake cream tasted super waxy… And the tiramisu was ok, that was probably the most edible one. However all three cakes were dry, the sponge cake part. Def not going back for this kind of quality.

I hate to give mediocre ratings to a small business, but… My bf and I were looking forward to some yummy korean sweets. particularly, fruity shaved ice. We’d just had an AMAZING one in NY K-town, so we were pretty much expecting the same. Oh, what a disappointment… They used some kind of fruit punch/syrup that we asked to be sprayed lightly. We didn’t like it, and they weren’t light on it either. I saw E.K.‘s review and made sure my bf didn’t get his hands on the cherry, although this cherry might’ve been perfect. What I liked was the kiwi and strawberry slices, but I could’ve done without the cocktail fruit chunks. Won’t come back again for shaved ice. The cashier was friendly though.

My fiancé and I went here to have some patbingsoo, korean shaved ice. My fiancé is in the bathroom right now throwing up because this asshole gave us bad fruit in the shaved ice. Don’t go here. I didn’t taste anything weird until the bottom but I figured it was the misoo, nope, the cherry he gave us was really bad. My fiancée had spit it out and was gagging. WTF. Check the damn ingredients. Fucking assholes, I’m pissed my fiancé is throwing up.

Thought it would taste like the bakeries in Korea… however the cake we ordered was dry and crumbled in your mouth while the frosting or «cream» tasted like cardboard/plastic. I was very disappointed as it was my wife’s birthday cake. If you’re looking for a Korean style cake please look elsewhere.

Apple turnovers were not much better than store bought. After reading the reviews, I was very disappointed.

Best birthday cakes on the cheap. The cakes arent normal sheet cakes but rather long rectangles. Fresh fruit used in them makes it extra tasty.

I finally found a place with 1) sugary red bean filled doughnuts(Japanese call them an pan), and 2) a good slice of strawberry cake. I told the lady behind the counter that her cakes looked real good. She said they use only real cream, not oils to make the whipped cream. Also, try the Seattle Deli 45 degrees to your left as you face the Bakery.

Great little bakery. I asked the gentlemen if the breads were fresh and he explained to me that he himself bakes it fresh everyday. He told me how they are not packaged in plastic like other places where you don’t know when they made it. Each bread is really soft and fresh. We got the little bread rolls in the glass case. Red bean, green bean, pineapple style(not sure what they called it, but excellent), twist donut, vegetable donut and cream bun. Loved them all. The location is great as well, next to a small Korean market and a Vietnamese sandwich shop. Also across the street from 99 Ranch Market. I was able to grab lunch and do my shopping all at once.

New to the area and very welcome! I was very happy walking in here– very bright, clean, and organized. The display case boasts cakes, pastries, and sweets. Many were very fimilar to me since I frequent Asian bakeries, but a few offerings were new and sounded delicious! On my first visit I ordered green bean bread and sweet potatoe bread(both looked like pans), and I was tempted by green tea cake and milk bread. Good quality and tasty treats. FYI’s~ * Take Visa with small surcharge * Have esspresso/coffee * Sell wedding/special occasion cakes * Sell breads and a few cookies in to-go packages

I have only been here once so far, since it is quite a distance for me and the trip was totally worth it. You can’t find many Korean-style bakeries in the Seattle area and this one is the real deal. They are a family-owned place and have everything you would expect: a variety of buns, Korean doughnuts, pretty slices of cake and more. I tried their buns and they were very fresh, not too sweet and extremely delicious. They also have coffee and hot drinks — unfortunately only to go since they don’t have seating in the bakery. But that should give you an excuse to grab even more of their pastries to go… Definitely check this place out when you get a chance!
