I was disappointed. We were on our way to downtown Edmonds, so I thought this would be a great stop along the way. They’re doing constructions in the area, so the roads were all ripped up, and the parking lot was dusty and noisy. The place doesn’t get much light, so it’s pretty dark. It’s also really small with only about 4 tables or so. Definitely more of a takeout place. In addition to your usual teriyaki meals, they also have burgers(odd…). Kudos to the friendly lady who was manning the counter AND cooking in the kitchen, single handedly handling the lunch hour rush with speedy service and such grace. I got the spicy chicken teriyaki at 4-star spice level and it’s not spicy at all. My chicken lacked flavor and probably should’ve been grilled a bit longer. My friend got the beef teriyaki and it looks like that could’ve been grilled a bit longer too. It didn’t seem like they picked the best quality ingredients, but I guess that’s reasonable given the price. Good lunch option if you’re in the area(for takeout), but I likely won’t be returning.

I walked there from where I was visiting w/2 other adults. We ate in. We ordered short ribs, broccoli beef & cashew chicken and shared all 3. All the food was delicious & each plate came w/2 scoops rice. Hot tea provided, but there were only 2 cups, & the lady said that is all they have. What?! Had to use chopsticks as the forks are junk.

I ate lunch here today for the first time. I ordered spicy chicken teriyaki. I was asked how spicy and the woman said one through five stars. I went safe with a four spicy and when it came out, while it tasted good, was more like a one star. I should have gone for the five star. I added lots of Sriracha but felt that was a waste of 50 extra cents for the«spicy» food. I got two mounds of rice and a simple three-color salad with some honey-mustard type dressing. Good amount of food, tasty and moist chicken. Friendly service… much better than the teriyaki place across the street. I would definitely come back to this teriyaki restaurant. They have water and tea available. They also serve burgers and fries here, which is kind of funny… but whatevs.

Great Teriyaki from this little place. I dig the spicy teri Chicken. I get the 3 stars and it is just right. Nice lady at the counter. It’s always really cold in there for some reason. I always get take out. It’s the best option in the Edmonds area and if everybody eats there maybe they will turn up the heat!

A little hard to find, but good and fast service. The menu is a bit limited but the prices are fair and the food is good. We would go again.

I had a plate of the spicy chicken teriyaki. The women at the counter asked me, «how many stars». I replied, «I like spicy food», She said, «5 stars». I broke a sweat, my bald head beaded up, and I enjoyed every bite. This place serves a great plate! BTW check out the tempura shrimp! It’s a nice change of pace… JR

Very friendly service and really good teriyaki. I can’t believe I am the first to review this little gem. I think this is the best teriyaki in the area. Good sized portions. I always leave satisfied! I really like the spicy chicken teriyaki and I get it most every time. I have been with others that have tried the regular and said it was fantastic. I like spicy and they have a pretty good 5 star. Great prices. It’s a little on the small side inside, but I don’t care. Check it out, Tori’s will not disappoint.
