Food was great! If you go at a busy time except it take a little longer… But it’s a great atmosphere! Always have fun when we go here and everyone is friendly. The staff is great and always does a great job. Food always tastes great as well and beer is cold. Recommend it for everyone and family friendly!

A little late on this review as I ate here for the first time in July. What can I say, Unilocal once again was correct. Great Burgers. Fresh lettuce, tomatoes, etc… I’ve never had such a fresh tasting burger with the trimmings. Nothing soggy on this bun! Texas Strings were also tasty. I’m not 100% sold yet that this is the best burger in the area, but I do find it hard to argue. I thought the burger could use a little more flavor, but with everything being fresh, it sure seemed much healthier than a normal affair. My son got the chicken strips which I would say to pass on. Just so you can baseline, I would say that a Red Robin Smokey burger is better tasting, but usually when I finish eating there, I feel it hit my stomach and bring me to a stop for awhile. This one left me ready to keep moving(and convincing myself that I just ate«healthy»)…lol. More of a bar then a restaurant, but we took our son and they were plenty friendly to us and him. Feel comfortable to take the family. So, if you are down this way(Near the Shoppes of Grand Prairie or Wildlife Prairie Park), definitely stop in here and grab a burger.

Went for lunch on a Saturday, atmosphere was relaxed — beer was cold — burger and fries were great. Will be back.

Their burgers are good, I have no complains about the service and prices are pretty reasonable. My only complaint is that they don’t accept credit cards, which means I have to bring cash every time I come here.

Grew up in the area, visited often. Now that I moved, always make a point to stop for a burger. Great staff, better food!

Great place! Just off the interstate. We were looking for a place to eat and Ludy’s didn’t disappoint. The price was great and so was the food. Their burger was huge and the Texas Toothpicks were good. My wife had the chicken Sandwhich and it was okay. By 11:30 it was packed with the locals. Great place to stop!

This place definitely lives up to the comments that it has the absolute best burgers around! Loved the casual, easy going ambience. We sat outside and enjoyed great hand-made burgers!

Definitely the best place for burgers in the Peoria area. The beef patty is huge and thick real meat… unlike thin meat patties you get elsewhere. It’s really nice to sit outside on a beautiful summer evening. Really enjoyable. It does get slightly backed up, but they keep the drinks coming and it is TOTALLY worth the wait. The onion rings are really good also. We Love Ludy’s!

Best burgers around, along with the pork chops and tenderloins. Great country bar atmosphere, where you can sit inside, or outside on a nice summer day. Great place to hang out with friends for a beer and a quick bite. Definitely busy at lunch hour, and evenings when there are ball games in town, so come early!

There is nothing quite like a burger from Ludy’s. It really is my favorite burger. Most burger I get from other places, I load up with condiments and cheese, but not a Ludy burger. I usually get it completely plain and if I’m in the mood, a little mayo on the bottom bun can enhance the flavor. The other food here is pretty standard for bar food, and I would consider it above average. My only complaint is the kitchen gets backed up, and it can take a long time to get your food. Its usually worth the wait though.
