Shoe Carnival # 383

This store has a good selection of shoes; usually better than Kohl’s or Target. I’m very picky about what I wear and can almost always find something here that I like.
In fact, I did find a particular shoe but it wasn’t in my size. The clerk looked it up on the computer and said there was a pair my size in a St. Louis store. She explained that they could have it shipped to the Edw. store for no charge. Great!
Shoes came in and they called. When I went to pick them up, there was a snafu on the register requiring a manager (who was very busy) to come and over-​ride. The line behind me waited patiently for him to come. I mentioned to the clerk, «Too bad they don’t empower you to make these decisions!» (Kohl’s does!).
Still, I was very pleased with the shoes. I’ll be back.

I have bought two pairs of shoes from this Shoe Carnival location and I feel they are very good. They have good deals much of the time I believe. I buy most of my shoes online, but I have been very happy with the service at this location.

Customer service is good at this location. Each and every trip, we are greeted at the door, and pointed in the direction we want to go. I say «we,» because I’m always with my wife and/​or daughter when we visit, drawn in to see «cute» shoes on sale.
