Al’s Pool and Spa

Brian at Al’s Pool and Spa is 5 Star Plus! Excellent service and he does a great job taking care of everything that keeps the pool working and looking beautiful so it can be enjoyed! He is dependable, professional, and has a good invoice and payment system. I appreciate how Brian understands my concerns for keeping a completely renovated pool in tip top condition and explains his service schedule and takes the time to answer my questions. I know Brian is taking excellent care of the pool maintenance which is one less thing we don’t have to worry about. Very happy to have Brian and Al’s Pool and Spa!

We have had Al’s as our pool service for almost two years. Brian came in after 3 other companies. We have never been happier. Our pool is sparkling. Even though we have our dog in the pool and it dirty ups the pool all through the summer. Brian just handles it. His suggestions on our pool equipment have saved us at least $ 150 a month in electric bills. We bought a new pump at his suggestion earlier this year. I believe it has already paid for itself. If not it will be in the next month. We won’t be going to anyone else to have our pool serviced. I tell anyone I know that has a pool that «is» the go to guy!

I would like to Thank Brian who helped my brother and I with my Mom’s pool. We were in the middle on an escrow when we found out the pool had turned green in a vacant house, apparently our pool guy had not been coming. I don’t live in the area and our parents had just passed away, so I turned to google and found Al’s Pool and Spa. They went above and beyond to fix the pump and heater and get the pool clean by the close of escrow. What a find!!! They were always professional, ad in constant contact with me.
I would HIGHLY recommend them for ANY AND ALL of your pool services.

Have used Al’s Pool/​Spa for about 8 years.
I was prompted to write this today because we had bad weather yesterday in La Mesa with freak microbursts and I had several trees go down and make a mess of the pool. I called Brian and he was here in the morning to help me clean up. I have been monitoring prices of competitors for years and have found a few that are cheaper, but not by much. Often Brian has the best prices, but his reliability and knowledge are first rate. He is proactive with the equipment so you get the filter cleans needed and he trains his occasional helpers very well. Like Brian, they are courteous and are in/​out as fast as possible while doing a perfect job.

Al’s is just the best pool service in East County. Brian took my sorry looking pool to sparkling like a diamond. He is totally so reliable and so personable. He has the knowledge, experience, he knows is business and even plays with my dog. Seriously, you cannot find a better pool service.

I use Al’s Pool and Spa because they’re affordable and honest :) I take care of my parent’s pool house, which is vacant September to May. I use Al’s Pool and Spa whenever a problem comes up. Brian makes sure that pool looks great not only for summer, but all year round.

I have been using Al’s Pool & Spa for almost five years now and I highly recommend his services to everyone and anyone with a pool or spa. Al has done an excellent job with my pool and keeps it well maintained for year around use. His vast knowledge in pool and spa services is beyond impressive. The last two guys I used gave me the feeling that I was being manipulated, which I was. Constantly switching several pieces/​parts several times a lot more often than usual and parts and pieces would ironically begin to fail. I’m very fortunate to have had seen the Al’s Pool & Spa sign posted on the streets 5 years ago. I had almost given up and thought that another street sign would lead me to the same kind of guy I had before. Luckily for me Al was AWESOME! After he conducted his initial check and replaced a few, inexpensive, pieces and parts my pool never ran and looked so good. Aside from his AWESOME customer service/​pool service Al is very reliable. I once had a small problem with my pump having a small leak knowing my kids were having a pool party the very next day. All I had to do was give Al a call and he was able to fit me right it. I agree with Harry V.‘s review. Al offers top notch services, completely reliable and someone you can trust. I will continue to use Al’s Pool & Spa for as long as I have a pool. Thanks Al.
