Bad service. I bought crisscut fries, that were wrinkly and green. I called to complain and the lady on the phone told me that was normal, did NOT apologize or offer a refund. «Normal«my ass. Check the food before you give it out.

This place is the main reason why I decided to finally create a Unilocal account. I absolutely LOVE Carls Jr’s Western Bacon Cheeseburgers… And I have come to this place about once every couple months because I keep trying to give them a chance since they’re closer to me. But enough is enough. If you want a GOOD experience at Carls Jr, go to the one on Fletcher by the mall. It might be a little bit more out of your way, but I guarantee you will make it there, have your food, get back home, and be done eating it before you ever get your order at this one on 2nd street. And you won’t have to deal with rude staff yelling at each other as well as you, or having your food pretty much thrown at you through the drive thru. I’m surprised whoever owns it hasn’t had their franchise revoked with all the complaints they get. Absolutely ridiculous.

Decent food, terrible service. I ordered a Superstar with cheese, an order of fried zucchini and crisscut fries — which was all quite good, once I eventually got it over 20 minutes later. The restaurant had maybe three tables occupied and a couple cars in the drive thru(2:00 pm), and most who I saw order did wait quite a while just as I had. One customer only got a side of fries but when they were brought to her the fries were cold and the customer asked for fresh ones, the employee went back a couple minutes later with another tray that she slammed down in front of the customer. Wow. Once I finally got my good I received my burger, good, my fries, good, and my zucchini, which I would say was good except I got about half the normal amount… oh well. I ate it.

I know as it gets late people tend to get tired and that’s understandable but that doesn’t excuse one from doing their job. I received my food which was smashed and poorly put together. The food was stale as if it sat under a heat lamp all day. All out nasty food! The drink cups were over filled causing a mess. These fast food businesses need to get back to the basics and do their jobs. The cost of the food and service is steadily rising while service seems to be dropping.

I cant put cero stars, but if i could it would be –1. Worse experience ever! Chinesse/mexican lady was a real b****ch! Yelling and pressuring me to order, then told me to park in front of the place and they will bring me my food. I waited for 25min, and had to get down for my own food for her to respond, «i didnt know what car you had» really? So why you tell me to park there? She was very rude and laughing with staff. I hope they close down that place with so many awfull reviews i wish i saw them before i even waisted my time.

Of I Can Put Zero Star I would. This place is horrible. I unfortunately had to witness a drive through staff name Jose arguing with a customer who was very upset with the way his order was handled. The store manager name Eva just stood there and let Jose argue with the customer. Eva Never Attempted To Calm THE Customer Down OR Handled THE situation. What can of management skill is that??? Then when I got my order the same guy Jose just gave me one bag and said thank you and closed the window. I still had more food that I did not get. Which I paid for. Jose was rude but the Eva was worst when it comes to customer service. No wonder why he ler employees have no standards to follow. To top it all of. My order was still wrong. I’m so mad. People… stay away from this place. As you can see the reviews have not been great. no wonder why.

Ordered 3 combos. All my drinks tasted like soda water. my bacon was under cooked. My fries were cold. I asked for a side of jalepeno & the Damon said they don’t have any and slammed the window on my face. Horrible customer service skills. Will not be going back to the location again. DAMON was working the drive thru on my visit as well as another guy

Made Me Wait 10 minutes in parking lot after ordering 2 burgers and french fries in the Drive Thru(wouldn’t be first time iv waited in the parking lot here). Also asked 4 ketchup and None in the Bag. There Lucky I’m giving them 2 stars because order wasn’t messed up like Last time and burgers were Decent. Drive thru screen didn’t show my full total so the workers couldv made a buck or 2 off me. Gave me No Receipt so Wouldn’t know. Going to Santee Carls next time gave them way 2 many chances here. Get it 2gether 2nd st. Carl’s jr or you may loose 2 many customers and be out of business here.

Went to the drive thru on a whim because the 2 for $ 3 breakfast sandwiches caught my eye. The lady said«It’s after 10:30am» ok my bad I did not know that. The way she said it was really rude. As if I had the audacity for asking for a breakfast item at 11:30am. «HOWDAREYOU!» Is what it felt like. I said ok then I will have the Famous star sandwich… Then sat there awkwardly for several moments waiting for her to give me a total. She burst out with such vigor and force that I can’t order breakfast at 11:30am that I assumed she would take my order for a Famous star sandwich. So finally I said«Hello?» Again with confusion in my voice and she said«Yeah» dismissively. I reiterated my request for a Famous Star sandwich. She then asks«With cheese?» Uh yeah doesn’t it come with cheese but whatever I said yes. She asked if I wanted the combo I said no… Took my sandwich home to discover the bread was stale! Gross $ 3.48 wasted. Rude employees at this establishment. I’ll just go to Jack in the crack(as I call it) because they serve breakfast items at 11:30am and are much nicer to me if I accidentally order something they don’t have.

10:30 pm on a Saturday: Tried looking up their hours online… not posted ANYWHERE. Called to find out their hours… took about 15 mins to get through to someone. Finally someone answers and they do so rudely. I ask for their hours and they close at 11(it was now about 10:50pm) Not helpful, no late night on Saturdays(!!!) and rude. I would recommend ANY other Carls Jr or fast food restaurant

This is a cool Carl’s Jr. It’s clean and the customer service is friendly. The ordering process was smooth and they have free WiFi. The establishment is very clean and that makes the experience so much more enjoyable. 5 stars!

Great customer service starts the minute when the customer walks in the door and makes eye contact. The employees are super friendly toward me. The employee that stuck out the most are Nicholas, Lawrence and Jose. The food is fresh and the service is fast. I’ve been coming to this location for alittle over two years now. I just moved here from Chicago. I always order the augus hamburger and the only negative things that I can say about this place is that they put alittle to much spices on my hamburger and the store could be alittle more tidier. Bottom line is they have delicious burgers at great prices with awesome customer service.

I had been wanting to try the Bro-tein burger, and I am happy to report it was not bad at all. In fact it was a-okay. The burger comes generously wrapped in ice berg lettuce, I would of preferred Romain for its nutritional value, but what do you do( ). Along with the half pound beef patty, came a couple of slices of cheese, ketchup, mustard, sliced tomatoes, and some onions. The beef patty was pretty good as it came, but I added some black pepper and a dash of salt, which made it a little better. The beef was pretty most and had a good flavor( ). You can get this burger in a one third or half pound patty. I had an ice tea with the bun less burger and it was okay. I am not on a low carb diet. Honestly, I just wanted to try it and if I were on a low carb diet, I would be happy eating these types of burgers. The employees were pretty friendly and prepared the burger in a good amount of time.

Just left the drive thru right after midnight, the fat ass white guy working there interrogated us on how many sauces I wanted for my hamburgers. I asked for 93 each of ranch, BBQ, and buffalo which is what I always get and they usually have no problem with. But he rudely asked us if it was really necessary and made me feel very unwelcome and pissed off that I just drove all the way to El Caion from Spring Valley just to get food here. Too bad asking for sauce was too much after spending $ 5 in gas and over $ 10 on two sandwiches. You won’t be getting my business anymore.

I usually have pretty good if not normal experiences at other Carls Jrs. This one, however, I’ve been to at least 10 times(I work a few blocks away), and they have NEVER gotten my order right. I kept going back thinking«this time it’ll be different, they can’t really mess it up THAT many times.» But I was wrong. I only get half an hour for lunch so of course don’t have time to go back and return my food. This time I got the new six dollar Super Bacon Cheese Burger, with no pickles. she said it doesn’t come with pickles. I get back to work, pull out my burger and not only does it have pickles on it, but it also is not a Six-Dollar Burger, AND it had no bacon!!! Worst Carls Jr. ever

Horrible drive thru service ever. Worst experience the guy on drive thru kept trying to rush me while taking my order breathing hard as if I was taking away his precious time. Pulled up no greeting when we got to the window just had his hand out for payment which was rude. Passed our order without asking if we wanted condiments and when we did how dare I ask he kept exhaling loudly Rude then when I asked if that was our order he said Yes. We pulled to the front to check the bag and we were missing a combo and a side item we saw the manager come outside to take something to a car and we said excuse me politely and she already knew what we were missing we pulled up and parked my sister went in I was already irritated so she came out 10 min later by the time we got home our food was cold and the wrappers on our burgers had greasy finger prints I’ll never go back not even for a free meal this location is a Joke

horrible. only one in drive through. a couple other cars pulled up behind me and the kid at the window started to freak out for being busy. finally after my food was ready, he decided to just shove my food in to my hands. after pulling away, i checked my order and guess what? he forgot an entire meal that i had ordered. i went inside, totally defeatig the purpose of a drive through. he told me to hold on!!! i told him i want my food that i ordered and handed him my reciept. he lean asked what«what did you order?’ while holding my reciept. i got home and the chicken sandwich i ordered was %100 the wrong one and fries where cold as they came out of the ice box. i will never visit here again and niether will the company i run of 86 employees thats right down the street.

This Carl’s junior can’t seem to get it’s act together when it comes to taking an order. It was pretty bad this time, two orders in front of us and we waited 15 minutes to finally order. We like the Famous Star best, but prefer better service and would probably rather go to the Carl’s Junior on Fletcher Parkway.
