Charming Charlie – El Cajon

First time I shopped at charming Charlie… loved it lots of cute things prices are really good. Good customer service, def coming back! They have a lil bit of everything here

I was originally going to give a 4-​Star to this store because of the location not being a place I really like to shop, but the store itself is fantastic so I could not do it. I have shopped at this store numerous times. Their products are beautiful and the prices are unbelievable (so affordable). You can own something that looks expensive at a low price — love it! And their personnel are always friendly and helpful! Therefore, a 5-​Star is deserving.

Went on Wednesday and had a terrible experience. My friend got me a gift for Christmas and although I liked the gift I just didn’t like the color. I went to the store to try and exchange simply for another color. Even exchange. Instead the associate continued to be rude to me and told me basically I had to have a receipt or there was nothing they could do. First of all that’s a ridiculous policy. But I called my friend and she said it would be under her phone number, they looked it up and found it. I explained to her I just wanted to even exchange for a different color and she told me this was not possible. It just doesn’t make sense, the company isn’t losing any money. Instead she told me an amount that I could shop around for but the exchange was not possible. I was extremely irritated already. Then I see the clearance wall of buy one get one free, so I looked and found some items I liked and I was going to have to pay anyway so why not. I go to be rung up and ask to do separate transactions (obviously to save the most money). She tells me no. I ask her why not how is it any different than me leaving the store and coming right back in. She fights me on it again but then hesitantly agrees. She tells me she has to do the return a certain way or it won’t work, giving herself more work and an additional transaction for me. The customer service was awful. Other friends have had issues with trying to return or exchange things here as well. If it’s a no refund policy they need to state that and I will go to forever 21 for the same thing. Very disappointed in how I was treated.

This store is fantastic! It has everything a girl could want and more. Stylish and unique handbags, jewelry and even blinged-​out iPhone cases for half the price of the ones sold at the AT&T store.
The staff is friendly and welcoming! This place is the place to go when you need cheering up!

Purchased a swingpack purse for $ 25. I wasn’t expecting too much from a plain Jane purse but it has exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be back for more.

Naomi at Charming Charlie was amazing! She adjusted a necklace for me, I wanted it shorter and she literally took out her pliers and made the adjustments I needed right on the spot! You would NEVER get great service like that at Brighton or Macy’s. Thank you Naomi for a wonderful experience in your store last night. Service was above and beyond!!!

I love this store! My mom and I stumbled upon the store a couple weeks ago and were instantly drawn in by the layout of the store. Everything is organized by color… and not just basic colors; turquoise is separate from blue, hot pink is separate from light pink, etc. Another pretty cool (but sometimes disheartening) aspect is that it is a boutique style store. That means that whatever stock they have of an item is all there will be and once it’s gone it’s gone. The cool thing about that is that you are purchasing an item that not many other people will have. The sad thing is that if you don’t buy it when you see it, it may not be there next time.
Yesterday I went back in to find a cute hat to wear to an upcoming event and I found the perfect hat! I love this store and would highly recommend it to any women or girls that are looking for anything from watches and bracelets to shirts and dresses.

This store is super! Its laid out in a very creative, user friendly way, and you can spend hours just looking around. Prices are good, and best yet? The salespeople aren’t pushy. If you say you’re just looking, they let you know that they’re around if you need any help, and then give you peace to browse. You’ll appreciate that here!

I just had a fabulous experience at Charming Charlie. I needed to return a leather purse I bought 3 weeks ago. A latch on an outside pocket broker and an inside lining tore. No receipt and I was worried I’d be out another $ 35 and have to search for another purse. Sooooo pleasantly surprised when I told the salesgirl my situation. She said, «No problem. Let’s go look for a replacement purse for you.» HUH? Yup, she helped me look to find another purse, helped me unload my purse into the new on and wished me a nice day! She didn’t even question what the original purse cost. It didn’t matter. CUSTOMER SERVICE ROCKS AT CHARMING CHARLIE!

This is such a fun accessory shop, they have everything organized by color which is really nice when you know what you’re looking for. Plus they have somehow managed to display thousands of necklaces, earrings, bracelets, etc… In a very visually appealing and shopper friendly set up throughout the store! Plus! Kudos to the super friendly and helpful sales associates!

It is amazing that Charming Charlies is located in Parkway Plaza. Ohhh don’t get offended… I am born and raised East County. I would see Charming Charlies more in Fashion Valley Mall. I think it is well organized and the layout gives good suggestions and ideas to those who are ignorant in the ways of fashion. The music is upbeat as are the sales associates who greet you at the door and approach you in a helpful way as you walk around the store. The only issue I had was they allow Walmart shopping carts inside the store. Although, that should be Walmart’s responsibility to prevent that from happening.
