The only auto repair place that I trust. Service is always impeccable and very accommodating. I might just buy Mercedes for the rest of my life just because of this shop. Ryan is always helpful. I drive over an hour just to have my car looked at here.

I am so happy that I found this place! Ryan checked out a 450GL for us that we are considering purchasing. He took a lot of time explaining his findings to me. We are going to pursue the purchase now and will definitely be bringing the car to Ryan for servicing. Thank you!

I’d like to echo many of the other VERY positive comments. I’ve been to several of the independent Mercedes repair places around town… the dealer of course… and I will tell you HANDS down Ryan and Co @ Clifton could not do a better job.

I have had my Mercedes only a year, but I have been to three shops with multiple issues this past year and I will have to say, I was getting pretty frustrated with the services and the cost. So much so, I was on the phone with Mercedes USA earlier this year telling them that I wish I had stuck to Lexus.
However, all that changed after my by chance visit to Mark and Ryan’s shop. The communication there is impeccable and all work performed was superior to any I have received thus far. HIGHLY recommend this facility!

Excellent, I mean excellent service and caring. These guys prepared my ’09 S550 for a cross country trip. Two days later, Sunday AM of departure the fan belt was frayed and was discovered because of a noise it would make when cycling (thank God!). I reached out to Ryan and Mark 7a, even though closed, and they came to my rescue, immediately replaced the belt that morning (of course no charge). They are top notch, truly caring people and pros. I had a super trip. The drive was smooth as silk. With these guys in your back pocket you have the BEST looking out for you. Very reasonable prices, repair as much as possible under warranty, clearly communicate needed and future repairs.

Great honest service. Made sure that anything that could be done under warranty was done. Ryan explains everything in an email and verbally really helps me understand what is going on.

I own several cars and have done the regular maintenance on all my cars. When I bought my 2002 Mercedes S class 10 years ago, I’ll admit I was a little fear-​full of the possible costs involved in owning a Mercedes. But after my first oil change that I did myself on this car, I found out it wasn’t that much more to have Clifton Mercedes do it. Ever since then, Ryan has taken excellent care of me there for 10 years. They run a honest, friendly, straight forward and professional business. I can’t use enough positive adjectives to describe this shop! If you go anywhere else for your Mercedes, you are crazy! My only complaint is that they only work on Mercedes. I wish I could take my other cars there when they need work done. Thanks for 10 great years of owning my Mercedes!

Ryan is an amazing find! I wanted to buy my son a car who lives in San Diego and I live in Oregon. It was going to be a surprise and I had to rely on strangers to help me. The car was from a dealership and though they said the car was in excellent condition I went on line in hopes to find an honest, knowledgeable mechanic to help me. After reading amazing reviews about Ryan I contacted him and he was everything and more what people presented. After a very complete a professional report of the car we decided the cost to get the car in EXCELLENT condition would have been over $ 3000.00.
I will use Ryan on all my future almost purchases as I now know I have someone I can trust and perhaps a friend.

Ryan is awesome. I brought in my Clk55 a few months ago for a burnt out dashboard light, and had it fixed efficiently by Clifton Mercedes. A week after that another dashboard light goes out. I finally brought it in today and Ryan took care of me. He not only replaced the burnt out light, but all the other ones in the speedometer cluster. They are probably going to burn out one by one. He didn’t charge me either! I have not seen such outstanding customer service, or integrity in a long time. I was prepared to pay, but he refused my money. I will be bringing in my Benzes to him in the near future. Thank you Ryan, and your dad too!

In this update, I’m giving Clifton Mercedes another five stars and will limit my comments to a two-​word summary: THE BEST!

These guys are great! I took my car in expecting the worst, for what I thought might be bad struts. They did a minor torque and sent me on my way.
This is the second time I’ve used them, and I am just as happy as the first.

Clifton is absolutely amazing both in service and honesty. The Clifton’s are always friendly and professional, and they have never pressured me into service I don’t need. I call them for advice, and they never fail to answer the phone personally. You would never get that kind of service from a big dealership.

I am now very suspicious since the last time I wrote a review here 4 months ago about the terrible attitudes and the pushy employees and ownership. Now miraculously my review has disappeared. I’m dying to see if this review disappears! I was very disappointed in the way I was treated last time I came here. I took my car in to find out what a noise was and $ 5,000 estimate later I was getting hammered to do all this work and they replace the battery drama tried to charge me 50 dollars, without my permission.
I just happen to be looking for another Mercedes Benz Automotive Center when I came across your listing at Clifton and saw a 5-​star rating. I’ve heard bad things about this site and now the rumors are appearing to be true.

I purchased my first Mercedes in many years from them indirectly through a referral. They did the initial pre-​purchase assessment and that car has gone there ever since. Great work and I can’t say enough good about them.
They usually have a car or two in their showroom. They only feature meticulous cars. Was driving past the other day and saw a beautiful car and, well, now I own that one too. They had done a pre-​sales check on the car so I was comfortable with the purchase.
As to the service, they are perfect. Easy to work with, easy to schedule, clean and reliable mechanics (in addition to dad).
Yes, you can DEFINITELY trust your car here. No scams or worries about repairs you don’t need. And yes, they are huge local, community supporters, another big plus for me.

I’ve been exclusively taking my car to this independent Mercedes shop for five years now. Clifton Mercedes is hands down the best shop I’ve ever dealt with. Ryan will look into any complaint as well as an overall check and email you a detailed overview of what they find.

My wife has a 2007 Mercedes E350 that has tire wear on the inside of her tires. I requested information from Ryan on the cost of the alignment and Ryan called me within 10 minutes. Ryan not only spent time with me discussing the normal tire wear for my wife’s model of car, he also advised me how to tell if the care «really» needs alignment.
In today’s day and age where everyone is trying to take advantage of the customer through selling up or wasted add-​ons this was a breath of fresh air. Although we do not need to take our car in based on Ryan’s advise, he has definitely earned our business when we do need our car serviced! I highly recommend this company!

My schedule is … Unpredictable and even with my abrupt cancellations and last minute «can you fit me in» requests they always are gracious and incredibly patient :)
My favorable form of correspondence is email/​text vs. phone and they are always quick to respond (this is a rarity). Where can you go or what business can you think of that has amazing customer service beginning to end? Not too many.
