El Cajon Towing

I locked my keys in my truck and called El Cajon Towing because of good reviews and location. I was told that a driver was twenty min away and would get me in my truck no problem. After waiting an hour the driver show up with no lock out tools! What how can this happen??? Now I am very late and waiting on another driver who is suppose to 5min out. Why didn’t they send the driver who was 5 min out first.

After a horrible phone call with another tow service, Toyota Service Center of Santee referred me to El Cajon Towing. What a wonderful experience in a bad situation. Top notch professional and kind service with very fair pricing. The person helping on the phone was so nice and Jose the tow truck driver was equally nice. Thanks El Cajon Towing for everything you did to help me!

Not an employee, friend or family — just a dude…
They actually arrived sooner than estimated (arrived at 25m instead of 45m) and the cost was exactly their quote. The employee who showed was a pro and a nice guy. Will use again — but hopefully won’t have to.

If I could give 10 stars I would. These people took care of me fast, effectively and professionally. The driver Saul really knows how to take care of a stranded motorist in need of a tow in a very dangerous spot on the highway. Perfect timing as he got me off the road before the rain came down and could have gotten hit by passing motorists. Way to go Ace in El Cajon towing.

Happy mothers day to me. I’m broken down and called them for help to change my tire. I told them where I was and they told me it would be $ 40. I said yes and told them to come out. 20 minute later they called to tell me that they were wrong about the price and now it would be over $ 90.
It’s 7:30 at night and I’m by my self trying to get home to my family. Thanks so much for nothing

Broke down on the freeway today. Very stressful situation. My mechanic recommended El Cajon Towing to get me to their shop and I complied. I was broken down on the Grossmont on ramp for the 125N. They told me they would show up in about a half hr. And with in the half hour they were there.
My tow truck driver was a little odd at first but, but overall really nice. He tried to crack some jokes to lighten the mood, but I wasn’t really taking the bait. We were also off to a rough start when he mentioned my name was a boys name… and couldn’t seem to get off the topic. lol. I don’t know what to tell ya bud, but I’m indeed a girl, and my name is Jordan? He also freaked me out a bit, running a red light through the crazy Fletcher on-​ramps intersection.
But they picked me up within the quoted time, and got me to the mechanic shop where I needed to go. Can’t say much about the price because my mechanic absorbed it. So fingers crossed my trucks going to be ok!

Call these people first! This company was wonderful and went above and beyond to assist us! They were so prompt they arrived at the car before I did (in rush hour traffic!) and actually waited for me while assisting with directions as to how to get to where the car was located! I spoke to the same person each time I called for additional directions. She was kind and understanding, never making me feel bad for calling for her help. Both the dispatch and the driver were knowledgeable, helpful and I cannot thank them enough!

Had to use these guys last Friday. If it wasn’t for the hour & a half wait, I would definitely give them a solid 5 stars. Friendly staff and quick to load/​drop off! Nice air condioned relief in the cab of the truck.

First time customer, best service you can ask for. The lady who answered the phone was very nice and the driver was also very nice. And very good price.

My daughter was in her first accident this morning. She was rear ended and thank GOD she wasn’t injured. We called our road side assistance and El Cajon Towing was dispatched. The driver was courtesy, quick and nice. He towed her car to the body shop and we had a great experience with them.

NO STARS! BUT THE MACHINE REQUIRES ONE STAR! NOT A CHANCE! The owner of my office building had my car towed saying he did not realize it was my car. He said that El Cajon Towing had my car. I called El Cajon Towing at 4:22 to ask where they had impounded my car and a female who answered the telephone told me to «google impound» and hung up on me. We called back and El Cajon Towing would not provide us with the information on where we could pick up our car. The man who answered the phone rudely told us the company closes at 5:00 p.m. still enough time to get a ride from my office to their office but he wouldn’t tell us where our car was impounde. It was only after my attorney called them that we found out that the car was in their possession at their El Cajon facility located approximately three miles from my office and by then it was too late.
We asked when the manager would be in and were informed he would be in tomorrow at 9:30. At 9:40 we arrived at the lot to pick up the car and were informed that the manager was not at that location and that he is rarely there. When discussing with the secretary how unprofessional and rude the staff had been the night before I was informed that the staff member who answered that the phone has a bad termper. We were polite and professional in our telephone calls to this employer but their employees were very unprofessional. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE! WE CALLED AAA TO RECOMMEND THAT THEY CONSIDER TAKING ACE TOWING (A SISTER COMPANY) OFF THEIR PROVIDER LIST AND FILED AN ON-​LINE COMPLAINT THIS AFTERNOON WITH CONSUMER AFFAIRS. I CANNOT IMAGINE ANYONE WRITING POSITIVE COMMENTS ABOUT THIS COMPANY. IN FACT WHEN I DISCUSSED MY CONCERNS WITH THE SECRETARY AND ANOTHER EMPLOYEE THEY SAID THAT WHEN WE CALLED THREE TIME LAST NIGHT TRYING TO FIND OUR CAR, «THE PHONES MUST HAVE KICKED ME OVER TO A DIFFERENT TOW COMPANY! «UNBELIEVABLE. WE ARE TELLING EVERYONE WE KNOW TO NEVER USE EL CAJON OR ACE TOWNING. WHAT A WAY TO START THE HOLIDAYS. HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!

Driver was nuts! He went over a curb with my car on the bed of the truck. And on the free way he was going to fast we couldn’t keep up in traffic.
Other then that he was very nice and helpful. I used my Progressive insurance to get my car towed and he was the company who showed up.

Absolutely HORRIBLE company! I was stopped at a light in Santee when their tow truck driver rear ended me. He was nice enough and his supervisor seemed marginally decent. I took my car to Collision Repair Specialist in Santee at their suggestion (a great one) and then obtained a rental car with the supervisor’s assistance. Not only did I have to reserve the car on MY credit card, the supervisor whined when I said I would not pay for the insurance nor would I put my own insurance at risk for it. Three days later upon returning the rental, Bob Beeman (owner) showed up LATE to pay for the rental. He was rude, berated me for having them pay for the insurance and my gas. He even suggested that I didn’t even need a rental for the three days my car was out of my possession. A truly ungrateful bastard in my opinion. I could have reported it to the insurance and really screwed their rates, as the driver admitted to me that he was talking on the phone (a nextel) with his SUPERVISOR at the time of the collision. Bob Beeman is a scam artist and I warn all who do business with this company, especially if THEY hit YOU!

I called and about 15 minutes later it was Tow-​ville; population: Me. The clutch went out on ol’ blue and I needed to get it to the shop (review pending). The driver was professional and courteous and compared to the other option I called the price was WAY lower for a Saturday afternoon. If I have to tow again then I am defiantly using these guys.
