Fun Bounce

Love this place! I have used them in the past, and always come back for more. I ordered an inflatable super hero jumper (last minute) and they were able to deliver it the very next day. Great customer service. The jumper was huge, super clean, and the kids had a blast! Thanks again for another great day! You guys are awesome!

We literally had a Carnival in our front yard– We had 3 rides, 4 Carnival Stands, a Fun house, Combo Jumper and an Obstacle course – We rented snow cone machines, hot dogs, and cotton candy, Face painters, and staff for our guests – We rented so much they had to come to our house a few days before to ensure we had room for it all! That was just the beginning of GREAT service. All of the staff were professional and so good with all of the children – they set up the day before and came back to finish before the event, this gave me incredible peace of mind. Although with the customer service you would think this is a huge company, but the owner was at my home helping set up himself! My event was FABULOUS – and I want to personally thank John for his attention to detail when helping me set up my event!

It was a good day. A very good day indeed. Everything leading up to Mini-me’s bday party was mos reassuring.
I received at least two follow up emails from Fun Bounce regarding delivery of the inflatable castle, along with reminders and information about their guidelines. All my emails were answered in a fairly good timeframe. The most important update email was 24 hours before event day, which included phone numbers from John at Fun Bounce, and our delivery driver, Sean. I did call Sean’s phone once on Event day, and he answered instead of letting my call go to voice mail. Huge customer satisfaction points right there when I have other working parts to ensure the day goes smoothly.
The neat thing was that Sean was so quick making his delivery rounds through town that he arrived a few minutes earlier than expected. I was relieved to get back home just in time before he moved on. My dad was already there at the house all morning, so he was able to let Sean set up the inflatable in the back yard before I arrived. When I parked the car, Sean was on his way out and mentioned that he left a copy of the contract with my dad. Sean said I could pay the bill when he returned in the evening. That’s way super cool, but no, I wasn’t going to let him drive away without payment. I know there’s some sticklers about Payment On Delivery, and in an alternate movie, some other delivery goon could be shaking my folks down for money or something else as collateral, but Sean was so friendly and relaxed about it. Cool dude; polite, and professional.
Fast forward a few hours and there are more kids. Kids everywhere. Bouncing and sliding. So much kiddie whee and fun in the sun. Fast forward several hours later. Those kids have left and Mini-​me is completely bounced out until next time. Birthday mission accomplished.
Sean returns that evening to pick up and asked if everything went well. Awwww Yissss. Yes it did!

First I am going to start off by saying this company is so unprofessional it is not even funny. I understand holiday weekends are busy times for businesses but that is what keeps your business going! If you do not want to help customers then don’t have a business. Here is what happened…
We look around online to find a good deal on a bounce house. Found a good one from this company. Followed the instructions online and picked a bounce house and a time frame for them to deliver it. no biggie right… oh and we PRE-​PAID for it, $ 189.00 for the bounce house and the $ 25.00 delivery charge, which oh by the way, our location was on their drop down box option for delivery. So a few days later I receive this e-​mail…

I am looking at the reservation that you placed online. The 3^rd of May is a very busy day (we are already turning away people for that date). The times of your rental is 10 to 4. You put an early as 9:30 time for delivery. This won’t work. Your location is far out for us. For me to be able to attempt to schedule this, I will need a delivery time for as early as 7 am the day of the event (or even possibly a delivery the day before if going into a backyard or other type of secure location.)
Please let me know if these are options or if I need to cancel the reservation.

So you are telling me that I am too far. which by the way, Coronado is only 15 – 20 minutes from El Cajon, and you allow my location under your delivery option and charge $ 25.00 extra dollars to deliver here. BUT IT’S TOO FAR. Then its a busy day… well maybe keep an inventory of your items and if they are not available annotate that on your website. Do not give the customer options if you are not going to allow them to pick a delivery time or the item they want which is allowed on your site. If the site is just options, then do not charge customers when they are reserving equipment.
So after we get this e-​mail my boyfriend calls the company to work out another option. Which should have been something the company did if they knew how to run a business but I guess e-​mail is their form of communication. So he let them know that 08:30 would work if that was ok for the drop off and attempted to negotiate with the company.
Thinking that things were all fine and worked out, I get this e-​mail below and my boyfriend tells me his card was refunded. They clearly did not try to work things out with us, they threw away good business and basically crapped all over their customer!!! I have many colorful words I would say about this company but I will use my energy in finding a company that deserves our business because this company is GARBAGE!!! Here are the final wonderful e-​mail I received. Which oh by the way I was at work all day and never even spoke with this person.

I cant believe you were threatening me or implying it when all I was doing is giving you a heads up that your times were possibly creating a situation due to your distance. In all my years I have never been treated this way and I don’t deserve that attitude. Other companies would just call the day before or the day of and you would be stuck last minute looking for something.
An online reservation system is no more than a holding service. The computer shows you what is available and allows for it to be reserved. It is not a guarantee until we have received it and processed it. If a 100 people put in an order for a 7 am start time do you think we have the ability to complete those orders? No, and therefore it is not valid until we confirm by our office staff.
As for cancellation policy, there is one section I saw right away and it reads:
Our Policies
Safety is our primary concern. With that in mind, FunBounce reserves the right to cancel any reservation that, in the opinion of the Fun Bounce representative, it deems a danger or jeopardizes safety in any way.
Having our driver have to race to fit your delivery into a 30 minute window definitely qualifies as a possible safety violation depending on how the schedule is.
Since I do have the option to cancel, I am going to be true to my word and see how the schedule is. If I determine that it is not able to be completed in a safe and timely manner then I will have no choice but to cancel and refund your deposit. The amount of time it takes for a refund is unknown since we do not have control over the refund times.
If this is not acceptable to you, I have the authorization to allow you to cancel as well upon receipt of this email without penalty of cancellation fees.

Fun Bounce does it again! Top notch service weeks in advance, patiently fielding every question I had (via email) within minutes. Arrived early, picked up when they said they would. Their equipment is IMPECCABLY clean, and their staff/​drivers couldn’t be more courteous. Thank you for all you to do make my children smile!

These guys are tremendous to work with, very professional, reliable, flexible, and accomodating. They have very fair rain policies and are not out to ding you with hidden fees and penalties like some companies. They excel in communications and really keep you up to date on where they are in terms of delivery and pick up. Installation and removal is very efficient and done by well trained and professional staff. The company offers a really excellent value for the money.

Wow these guys are great. I was afraid I had waited too long to order, but I was able to secure a jumper for the nephews birthday. They delivered early, setup was a breeze, and the jumper worked like a charm without any issues. I wanted to keep the jumper a little longer and Sean adjusted his schedule to accommodate.
Above all the pricing was excellent and my expectations were exceeded

We hired this company for the first time for a jumpy with a slide, and we are very pleased. They promptly arrived and set up quickly. The jumpy was clean and the kids loved it. They promptly arrived to take the jumpy down, which deflated rather quickly. All went well and we will definitely use this company again.

The 5 in 1 Combo princess jumpie was a huge hit at the party. The driver Sean quick, clean, courteous, professional, and had great suggestions as to where to put it and the generator, and he was there and early and waiting for us when I arrived. I would highly recommend them.

First class outfit. Called to get a bounce thingy for the grand kid birthday party. Delivered and setup same day! Tore it down right on schedule. Equipment is good shape.

John over at FunBounce is great to work with. His staff is always on time and very knowledgeable and helpful. I’ve used them numerous times. Their pricing is great, and have coupons out often times. Offer repeat customer discounts as well. I highly recommend them.

I was actually referred to this company because
had overbooked and I was the last reservation on the list. I have to say that they have probably lost my business permanently not because of the bumping but because these guys were so good.
We ordered the 15×15 jumper, received email confirmation with pictures the day before. The jumper was everything we expected and looked brand new. Drop off was exactly at the time they stated, and the employee (Sean?) was super polite. The topper to all of this was they were a little early for pick up but waited out side in the truck and did not bother us. I just happened to notice him sitting out side and informed him the kids were done and he could come get the bouncer when ever he was ready.
I will definitely be using this company in the future!

I rented a jumper and a snow cone machine from these guys. Great communication with John, and he even gave me a small deal (I told him I didn’t need any of the snow cone materials so he gave me $ 10 off). On the day of, the generator the guy first brought didn’t work, but they had another guy bring a new one. Thankfully he came an hour early before the party started so this wasn’t really a problem.
Definitely recommend this place. They have quite a few things to rent!
