After wandering around about five minutes, no one had offered me any assistance, so I approached a male employee to ask about the selection of Mother of the Bride dresses. He seemed very distracted and unsure of what I was asking, then he turned to greet a customer who had just walked in and completely forgot about me – or he was ignoring me, I’m not sure. I left, and I would not recommend this shop to anyone.

I came in here looking for a dress to wear for my pageant. I spotted a beautiful hand painted gown that looked stunning on the mannequin. Since I had been working out and eating healthy, I felt confident that once I slipped this dress on I would buy it. Sadly, I was not able to. No, it wasn’t that the dress wasn’t my size, No, I wasn’t in a hurry. It was because when I asked the employee (who had been eyeing me like a hawk yet didn’t bother even a greeting) for a fitting room said,
«That dress is $ 900»
«Ok…and?» I responded. Little did she know, I had just won a lawsuit that earned me well over the price of the dress.
«Can you afford it?» she said. I could not believe my ears. I felt like Julia Roberts in pretty woman. Once my shock wore off, I told her I very well could afford the dress but I would be taking my business else wear. Needless to say I will never set foot in this shop again. And neither should you, unless you like being judged and refused service. Huge mistake Hermz.

The gown selection at this boutique is gorgeous! I stopped in for the first time today and I immediately fell in love with all of the dresses! The manager that worked there was so sweet and welcoming, she asked me if I was shopping for a special occasion. I shared with her I have an upcoming wedding and she asked me what I had in mind, what styles and colors I was thinking about… basically all of the right questions to get to know my personal preferences. She listened and made suggestions and showed me what she had in stock. Any questions I had were answered right away, so knowledgeable! The store was very neat and organized which made it easy to look through the gowns. Thank you Wala for the amazing service and I am absolutely in love with my beautiful dress! Definitely will use Hermz for all of my occasions!

So we found this place on Instagram and decide to check it out for my daughters winter formal dress. The Shop is small and clean. This place is pricey but 100 times better then any dress store around town! They have some amazing dresses!!! Omg!!! They don’t have too many dresses in store but a huge selection in books in all kinds of different colors and sizes. If u pick something out u can get it within 5 – 7 days which is not bad compared to another dress shop I went to that told me 2 months? The girl that helped us was soo sweet and patient. We had trouble finding a size 0 for my daughter in such a short time frame-​a week. But we found one and we are really happy with it. This is the kinda place to find a dress that know one else is going to have.

I’ve been a regular at the Hermz boutique in LA for about 7 years now, I have purchased many dresses from them, and have referred almost everyone in my close circle of family and friends and have nothing but great things to say about the boutique and the owners there. However I recently moved to San Diego and had to try out this branch of Hermz, and I must say just when I thought their customer service could not get any better, it did. Crystal the beautiful young lady that helped me was such a sweetheart and so kind and helpful, she’s wonderful at what she does and makes picking the right piece so easy! I loved doing business with her, I also loved the boutique– has a wonderful selection of Quontum dresses, skirts and tops. I purchased 2 stunning pieces from them that I got compliments on all weekend! If you want great customer service and an amazing selection of dresses for a wedding or just a night out– go here!!!

As someone who attends several formal events, I need a professional dress shop I can rely on. Hermz in San Diego has definitely become that place for me!
It’s very rare to experience wonderful customer service in retail nowadays. However, Crystal, the manager at this boutique goes above and beyond to help you find exactly what you need. Her amazing service has definitely made me a satisfied repeat customer. I doubt that this place could run as smoothly without her. Not too fond of the other lady who works there though. She doesn’t seem as knowledgable of the merchandise or as professional either, which kind of takes away from the charm of this place. Oh well, can’t have your cake and eat it too I guess.
I go to a lot of wedding parties, so the variety of designer dresses they have is never limiting in terms of creativity. I’m always happy to see that I can pick out something totally different than my last look and feel completely amazing in it!
Everything about this place is so wonderful that I almost don’t want to tell anyone else about it so I can keep this hidden gem for myself (selfish, I know lol). However, such an amazing business deserves all the success it can get :-)

I love going here. The selection is unique and the customer service is so good. However I’ve only worked with Crystal who is amazing at what she does. After going there the first time, she remembered who I was the 2^nd visit and so on, she has a great memory. She remembers my style and what I like each time I go. She is so personable and attentive. She knows how to multitask when there are many customers in the store. She is great at getting back through email quickly and answering my questions about merchandise. I’m so sad to see her go and hope there is someone just like her to keep me shopping here. Wishing her best of luck. The store is great and hope to visit the one in LA too.

Amazingly beautiful selection of evening dresses and phenomenal customer service! I wish I had more events so I could give them my business.
