When we met Rick, we were dreaming of «someday» buying a house. But we didn’t really know how to start the process. I decided to go to an open house for a listing I saw online, just to see it. That’s when I met Rick Tibbitts… and he changed our lives! He was so helpful and informative and NOT pushy or annoying as some people that want business can get. He let us know what our next step should be and how to get started. Within 3 months we were putting in our first offer! The process for us was a long and draining one, but Rick was there the entire time, always taking our calls and answering questions we probably asked 15 times before. At one point we thought we wanted to buy this money pit that needed a bunch of work, and Rick explained that for us as first time home buyers with small children and working full time, it may not be the right thing. That is when I realized he isn’t in this just to get paid, but to put a family in a home that they will love and be happy with. We always felt as though we were his only clients and as if he was part of our family! With Rick’s hard work we found our dream home! It is EVERYTHING we wanted when we started this journey and we couldn’t be more satisfied.
I was a little sad when we closed on our house because we would no longer be talking on a daily basis and hanging out sometimes three times a week! Rick didn’t just drop up the minute we closed on our house, he remains in contact with us throught the time we have been in our home. I recommend Rick to any and every person I hear interested in buying and/​or selling a home.

My husband and I were taking steps to move from Colorado to sunny California, as his business is located here, and he had been telecommuting for quite some time. My husband happened upon Rick one day at an open house he stumbled on, and really enjoyed meeting him. We decided he was the realtor for us, and signed up with him. He is a very patient realtor, as it took us about 2 years to finally be ready to move! Rick was always in touch with us throughout the entire 2 years, as we were searching through the MLS listings. In August of this year, we decided it was time. We flew in, and Rick had us set up to look at 13 houses that one day — it was quite the whirlwind tour, but we found the home we wanted. I would absolutely recommend Rick to anyone looking to make a move — he is the best in the business, as far as we are concerned!

If I could give a million stars to Rick at Home Team San Diego, I would. I met Rick at an Open house. By the time I returned home from the viewing, I already had an email with over 75 listings and reports on all the local school districts. At that moment I KNEW Rick was our man!
As a first time home buyer the process seemed a little overwhelming, but Rick, honestly, made it the smoothest and greatest experience possible. He answered every phone call and email within the hour (or two). He was available almost immediately for any showing I found. He worked around my husband’s busy work schedule. He created a professional and cohesive relationship with our mortgage agent. Their communication was flawless throughout the entire process. Rick also went above and beyond his duties as a realtor. He served as family babysitter while we went through the home inspection. With the Federal and State tax deadlines looming, Rick went out of his way to get answers to those questions. Rick even found us a contractor (who we did use) to get the work done on the house we eventually bought.
If you’re looking for someone who really listens to your needs, responds quickly, has a keen sense of the market, and a wonderful personality, then Rick is the agent for you. I’ve never met anyone who works as hard and, more importantly, enjoys their job as much as Rick does.

My fiancé and I are first time home buyers thanks to Rick. We were referred to Rick through a co-​worker of mine and have had the most fantastic experience. In less than 6 months Rick not only helped us find a condo, but he held our hands through the entire process. When we first approached Rick we were very tentative about if we would even be able to purchase our own property, but he put us at ease immediately even with our barrage of what seemed like hundreds of questions and concerns we had regarding every possible aspect of home ownership.
Rick went above and beyond throughout the entire duration of the process, he helped provide answers for us that were way outside of the normal Realtor range of support, and continuously kept in contact with us. He was very prompt in returning calls and emails, and I’m pretty sure he doesn’t sleep as he seemed available at almost all hours of the night. He was there for emotional support and to calm both my fiancé and me down more than a few times when we were freaking out. We never felt the least bit rushed or pressured, and he always had our best interest in mind and truly wanted us to be 100% happy in finding our first place.
I don’t think either myself or my fiancé could sing any higher praise for any individual than we could for Rick, without him we would either still be looking for a property or have long since frustrated ourselves out of the search completely. Rick is an outstanding person both personally and professionally. We both look forward to not only keeping in contact with him, but to doing business with him in the future. You would be doing yourself a disservice to not seek his assistance.
